Alexander's look softened, but he didn't say anything.
Emily turned and walked out of his office, her heart was really heavy and she was very angry but her decision was not shaking at all.
She had nit gotten to her desk when Alexander called her again.
"Emily, wait," he said, his tone was more softer this time.
"Why? So you can accuse me of something else I did not do right?" She said and stopped but didn't turn around.
"That is not what I meant." Alexander said, sighing heavily.
"Then what do you mean, Alexander? Because right now, it feels like you are ready to believe the worst about me." she finally turned, her eyes was burning as she spoke.
"I don't want to believe it but the evidence..." he admitted, his voice was more quieter.
