The blood ran cold in my veins. Who had found us?
“Vazar? What the hell is going on? Who could that be?” I shrieked dropping the phone onto the table.
“I have no idea! It could be anyone! What if it’s my kind?” He began pacing around the room, biting his lip. I hadn’t seen him this anxious before. If he was anxious, then that meant this matter wasn’t to be taken lightly.
“What if it is your kind? Oh my God! We are in so much trouble if they really have found us!” I was practically shouting as I raced to the light switch and plunged us into darkness.
“What are you doing?” Vazar asked confused.
“Checking out the window! What if we are being watched?”
“From the garden? Hannah, if they are my kind then you will never see them!” Vazar laughed because that was the only thing he could do at that point.
“What should we do?” I asked switching the light back on and looking around the room. “We should leave!” I answered my own question.
“Yes, we have to leave.” Vazar’s face was grim.
