Upon hearing the greeting, the female assistant lifted her head from her workstation, then saw that same clueless young man again.

Despite the fact she was currently busy with work regarding the personnel director's schedule, reason dictated she shouldn't get entangled with him again, but as if some mysterious power was secretly hinting at her from the depths of her heart, she felt compelled to treat him with the gentlest demeanor.

So, she eventually squeezed out a smile:

"Is there anything else I can help you with?"

Jiang Lu leaned on the counter, grinning, and asked, "Do you know who my dad is?"

"I'm afraid I don't..." The assistant's smile began to fade as she tentatively asked, "Your father is...?"

"Haha, I don't know either."

"It's like this." Jiang Lu cracked a joke and then explained, "I just asked my friend, and he said that my file is already done. I just need to enter it into your HR system and then get some sort of proof."
