Before she could answer, Caeli replied with a chuckle, "If the man is like Malacai, bringing many women at his side, and it's clear most of them are his women, my dear will either get slapped or kicked out."
"My mom won't do that," Fiona complained.
Malacai let out a laugh. "Don't take it so seriously. Caeli's always like that. You'll get used to her soon."
Fiona sighed inwardly and didn't comment further. She knew her position; rather than continuing the conflict, it was better to have good relationship to them.
Changing the topic, she asked, "You really changed a lot, Caeli."
"I've always been like this; you just didn't know much about me before."
"That might be true. I only met you a few times, but I'm honestly glad you are completely cured now. I'm sure many of the nurses will be happy too."
"I'm sure a few of them won't," Caeli replied with a smirk.
