"I never knew they would be this strong" Roseline said as she stared at four boys walking out of the river.

"Especially that Pearce, he is simply a monster" Roselle said with a mixed expression on her face.

Right now the new recruits are all gathered at a spot with Sir Venerable in front of them and beside the river as Hutton, Drake, Alex and Pearce came out of the river and joined them.

"Congratulations for completing your training sessions as new recruits" Sir Venerable said "For those of you who lasted the longest in you group, you get 1,000 battle points each for your hard work"

After Sir Venerable spoke, he rose up his right arm which had a black wristband on it, pressed a red dot found on the wristband and did a few pressing on the screen that appeared on his face.

A while later, Raynold, Powell, Caroline, Hutton, Drake, Alex and Pearce all got an alert which appeared directly on their faces as they saw a credit alert of 1,000 battle points on their screens.

Although Caroline was surprised by why she got credited, she got an answer right before she could voice her doubt.

"I know you are wondering why i gave you the 1,000 battle points. Well that's because even if Powell totally rendered the training session useless with his spell, you still stayed in the river and fended off that his disgusting qi" Sir Venerable said while shifting his gaze to Powell with an annoyed look on his face.

"Thank you Sir Venerable" Caroline said as she bowed deeply.

"Well this will teach you guys that you need to step up if you want to get rewarded in life" Sir Venerable said as he began to float up in the air "You can go back to your dorms. Tomorrow you guys will be given your first spell so think carefully how you will fight the monsters before then"

"Yes Sir!!" The new recruits echoed while giving a salute as they saw Sir Venerable floating away.

'I need to fix this frail body before it kills me' Pearce replica thought as he began to walk into the forest. But just when he was about to get into the forest, he got blocked by a familiar female.

"Thank you" Caroline said with her head slightly lowered since she seems to be blushing on her face.

'What's with this change of attitude?' Pearce replica thought with a confused expression on his face. But he quickly casted that thought away as he spoke in indifference.

"You don't need to thank me. Like I said earlier, I have my own reasons for acting that way"

After saying that, Pearce replica quickly changed direction and went into the forest.

"Something is difinitely wrong with Pearce. How can he be this cold?" Roseline said with an angry expression on her face. But what Caroline replied to her made her to have a blank expression.

"Shut up. If you don't mind your business from now on, I will help you do so"

After speaking to Roseline in that cold tone, he swiftly turned towards the forest and quickly entered it. But she failed to notice that while she went into the forest, Powell had a severe expression on his face as he thought.

'No one is allowed to take my lover away from me'

«Give me my body back!!» Pearce screamed as he used his ethereal body to run round the void.

«Will you shut up? There is something I gotta do before I give you your body back» Pearce replica said in his mind while advancing through the forest in a shocking pace.

«And what is that something?» Pearce said as he paused from his running while having a curious expression on his face.

«I want to improve the quality of your body»

«And how are you going to do that?» Pearce asked with a surprised expression on his face. But what he got as answer from his replica was this.

Back at where the new recruits had their training session, while the new recruits were heading back to their dorms, two old men can be seen floating right above the forest towards the same direction the new recruits were heading.

One of the men is the one who relieved Stevens from his duty Sir Venerable while the other is someone who wore a white robe that has dark linen on it as it formed the head of a dragon.

"That dark qi kid, why can't you expell him or better still dispose of him" the old man wearing a white robe asked as they were floating above the forest.

"I wish I could Venerable Dreadful. But I can't since I don't want to face the wrath of the Thomas Family" Sir Venerable said with a gloomy expression on his face.

"Wait… Is he from the Thomas Family!?" Venerable Dreadful asked with a shocked expression on his old face.

"Unfortunately, yes" Sir Venerable said with an helpless expression now on his face.

"Then there really is nothing you can do. Besides, I wouldn't do it if I were in your shoes" Venerable Dreadful said with a tinge of fright hidden in his eyes.

'It seems I have awakened his trauma' Sir Venerable thought with a worried expression on his face while him and Venerable Dreadful floats above the forest towards where the new recruits were heading.

«We have now arrived, so how are you gonna improve my body?» Pearce asked with a tinge of excitement on his face.

«Hold your horses, I still have to buy materials that will help your body» Pearce replica said as he went towards the bed in his room and lifted up his pillow.

«Wait!, How did you know I keep my storage pouch there?» Pearce asked with a shocked expression on his face.

Storage pouches are like a small pockets on the outside, but inside them are like a mini separate dimension where items could be stored. They are leveled based on how many meters are in the pouches. Pearce's pouch is at Rank E since it only has a 100 meters space inside the pouch.

«I have told you this before, even if I am isolated inside your mind, I can still see and hear what you are seeing in the outside» Pearce replica answered with an annoyed expression on his face.

«Oh!» Exclaimed Pearce as understanding dawned on him.

‹How dumb is this kid?› Pearce's replica thought as he picked up the pouch and walked out of the room.

«So what kind of materials do you want to buy»

Pearce asked while Pearce walked out the new recruits dormitory building.

When he heard that question, he smirked a little as he answered calmly.
