FOUR ANCIENT SLABS

"Where am I?" Pearce asked as he saw himself in a starry colored void.

"My replica!!" Pearce suddenly called out when he find out he was the only one in the starry void. But unfortunately, he didn't get any response after waiting for 5 minutes.

"Looks like I will have to check around this void to find out where exactly am I" Pearce suddenly decided as he began to move around the void.

"Hmm? What's that?" Pearce suddenly asked as he saw four slabs floating in a straight line at the distance. When he got closer to these slabs, he got a more detailed view on them.

These slabs were all completely black in color while some strange language was written on them with what seems to be gold inks. Not only that, but black mist completely shrouded these four slabs.

"What a strange looking slabs…" Pearce muttered as he tries to touch one of the slabs. But suddenly, a voice rang out close to his ears…

«I wouldn't touch those ancient slabs if I were you»

When Pearce heard this voice, his eyes suddenly lit up as he said excitedly…

«I thought you soul might have vanished in this world»

«Thats what i also thought until I saw myself here» Said that same voice as a boy that has long green hair with bright green eyes approached Pearce.

This person was none other than Pearce's replica!

«So what do you meant by what you said earlier?» Pearce asked with a curious expression on his face.

«Although am not too sure myself. But am having an unfathomable feeling while staring at those ancient slabs» The replica said with slight fear in the depths of his eyes.

«Well then what do you suggest we should do? Remember we don't even know where we are» Pearce said with a helpless look on his face.

After pondering for close to twenty minutes, Pearce's replica also had a helpless look on his face as he answered.

«I've no idea»

«Well then touching the slabs it is» Pearce said as he stretched his right hand to touch one of the four slabs.

«Wait!!» The replica suddenly exclaimed when something suddenly came into his mind. But he was already too late…

"En!!" Pearce suddenly exclaimed when he saw the slab he just touched suddenly turned liquid as it quickly got into his smooth and glowing skin. Not only that, but the other three slabs also did the same thing.

«Pearce!!» The replica suddenly exclaimed with a panicked look on his face as he saw Pearce suddenly turned pitch black with golden eyes as he began to float motionlessly.

Swoosh!!

Right before Pearce was about to float away from his replica, his replica suddenly dashed and caught up with him.

«Thank the heavens I could hold him» The replica sighed in relief when he figured out he could hold Pearce

«I wonder how things are going on outside» The replica muttered with a worried look on his face.

"How is this possible!?" Menacing Demon exclaimed with wide eyes as he looked at the floating Pearce with disbelief written all over his face.

Previously, Menacing Demon could effortlessly find out Pearce's Power Rank in the past. But now, he couldn't get even a glimpse of Pearce's current Power Rank.

'But wait, what are those black mist all over his body' Menacing Demon suddenly thought as he narrowed his eyes in attempt to recognise what those mist are. But in the end, he couldn't figure out what those mist are.

Suddenly, a loud explosion rang out at the side of the hall. When everyone turned there gaze towards that direction, they could see Wolf 3 coming out of a scattered bricks with bruises all over his body.

"I'LL KILL YOU!!" Wolf 3 suddenly exclaimed as he dashed towards Pearce with a livid expression on his face. When his mother saw this, her face suddenly paled as she shouted.

"WOLF 3, DONT GO!!"

But unfortunately, before Wolf 3 could stop from his previous dash, he already saw Pearce appear right in front of him. Not only that, but he received Pearce's punch which seems to not draw any strength from Pearce.

"WOLF 3!!" Both his mother and his two brothers exclaimed as they saw Wolf 3 literally explode from the impact of Pearce's punch

"HOW DARE YOU!!?" Wolf 3 mother exclaimed as she dashed towards Pearce with a frightening speed as she has a livid expression on her wolf like face. While she dashed towards Pearce, the remaining two werewolves joined her.

"PEARCE!!" When everyone saw this, they all had a pale face as they tried to reach Pearce before the werewolves do. But not long after, all the humans suddenly paused as they saw what just happened with a look of disbelief on their faces.

What they saw was Pearce activating two spells as he suddenly vanished from where he was and appear right at the back of Wolf 1 and 2. Not only that, but as soon as he appeared at the back the two werewolves, both the two werewolves and their mother suddenly paused from their dash.

Simultaneously, these three werewolves heads began to spray out blood like a sprinkler before the heads slowly slid down from there body before the body followed suit.

While these bodies fell down to the floor lifelessly, there was complete silence in the hall since everyone were completely shocked out of there minds. But everyone quickly came back to their senses when they saw the Pearce's gaze locking on them.

'Oh no…' Menacing Demon thought as his hideous face paled while he quickly turned towards Venerable Phoebe who also had a paled expression on her face as he exclaimed.

"Quickly free them and get out of here!!"

"What about Menacing Demon?" Venerable Phoebe hurriedly said as her expression suddenly solemn.

"I'll hold him of" Menacing Demon replied with a resolute expression on his face. But hurriedly said again right as he noticed that Venerable Phoebe was about to saw something.

"Just go!!"

"I hope you don't die" Venerable Phoebe eventually said with gritted teeth before she dashed towards the chained people.

'What has gotten into Pearce' This was the thought in the mind of Lieutenant David, Drake, Roselle and Viona as they stared at the unfamiliar Pearce in a daze.

"Let's go!!" Venerable Phoebe hurriedly said after she finished unchaining the four people on the ground with the help of Lieutenant Felix.

But right when they were about to leave the hall, Pearce suddenly shifted his gaze from Menacing Demon to the flee people before he suddenly vanished on the spot.

"No!!" Menacing Demon exclaimed when he find out what was going on as he tries to reach Venerable Phoebe and the others. But something unexpected happened…

Bam!!

"It seems you have gone out of control again" said an old man that wore a green robe which flutters with the violet wind as he stood firmly in the air in front of Pearce.

When Menacing Demon saw this old man, he suddenly became solemn as he asked.

"Who are you?"

"Who? Me? Am just his grandpa" The old man said as he lazily pointed at the unconcious Pearce with a light smile on his face.
