A MONSTER KING POWERHOUSE

"We… we have arrived" said the last surviving Lamia as it stopped along with the 5 humans behind while staring at an abandoned two storey building at a remote and lonely area of the village.

All along the way, they have been passing through lonely alleys to prevent normal citizens to see the hideous monster and become panicked.

'As I expected' Pearce thought as he observed the area with his powered mind to check how desolate the area was to prevent any mishap.

"Now that we have known the location of their hideout, quickly kill this monster so we can get out of here" Lieutenant David quickly said as he began to have a bad feeling rising up in him.

"Yes sir" Pearce hurriedly said as he intends to use the Intent Spark to finish off the remaining Lamia.

"Noo!!" Lamia screamed as he saw death coming closer to him. But right at this moment, something unexpected happen.

Whoosh!!

Bam!!

"AAH!!" Pearce screamed as he got flying by an unstoppable force coming out of nowhere. When Drake, Roselle and Viona suddenly saw Pearce flying, they expression abruptly changed as they shouted in chorus.

"PEARCE!!"

Unlike the three teenagers that hurriedly went towards where Pearce landed, Lieutenant David just stood at a spot while looking at the new threat with a frightened expression as he muttered…

"We are doomed"

The new threats that suddenly appeared in a broad daylight were three unusually huge werewolves!!

And what is more frightening is that when Lieutenant David saw how fast one of the werewolves used to attack Pearce, he figured that these werewolves were at least at stage 5 of the Qi Fusion Rank!!

"Looks like mother's luck is quite good. They actually came to us for them to be nutrients for our mother" One of the werewolves at the side spoke while looking at the humans as if he was looking at livestock.

"You have done a great job. You will be rewarded later" The werewolf that seems to be in the lead casually spoke to the Lamia that was now on the floor.

Although the Lamia was surprised by the turn of events, he still jubilated when he heard that he will be rewarded.

"Thank you First Master"

"You two, capture them"The werewolf in the lead spoke again as he turned his gaze to the two werewolf's behind him.

"Just because you are stronger than us doesn't mean you can boss us around" The werewolf on the right said gruntily while dashing of towards the the teenagers at the distance.

"I agree with him" the werewolf at the left spoke calmly before going towards Lieutenant David. But unfortunately for the two werewolves, the werewolf in the lead simply ignored them as he stood calmly at a spot.

'I just hope they get here before we all die' Lieutenant David thought as he was easily held by one of the werewolf. Why he thought that way was because right when one of the werewolves dashed off towards the teenagers, he secretly activated a golden colored talisman which suddenly flew off towards the distance.

"Why isn't he waking up!?" Drake said with a panicked look on his face while shaking an unconscious Pearce on the ground

"How would I know!?" Roselle hurriedly replied with the same panicked look on his face. Although Viona didn't say anything, her expression were similar to Drake and Roselle.

"I can answer that question!"

When the three conscious teenagers heard that sentence, there bodies suddenly stiffened as horror dawned upon their faces. When they slowly turned there heads towards the source of the one who just spoke, they saw a werewolf slowly coming towards them.

"Thats because his is trying to look pleasant to my mother so that he could be the first to be devoured" The werewolf continued with a evil grin on his face.

'What sort of answer is that?' Roselle thought with a grave expression on her petite face.

"AH!!" Viona suddenly shouted as she dashed towards the werewolf with a three-foot-long green sword in her hands. Not long after she dashed with a shocking speed, a yellow color aura began to radiate on her body.

"Futile effort" The werewolf coldly said he casually waved his right hand upward. But when he did that, a back colored arc flew out and clashed with Viona…

Swoosh!!

Bang!!

Pa!!

When Viona clashed with the black colored arc, she felt a devastated power break into her qi and clashed with her actual body which made fly back with a speed more faster with the one she used to dash. Not only that, but when she got hit by the arc, her internal organs quivered as she spat out a mouthful of blood.

"VIONA!!" said both Drake and Roselle with a horror filled face. But they became more frightened when they heard what the werewolf said next…

"You guys are coming with me"

«For crying out loud, wake up!!» said an ethereal Pearce with a panicked look on his face.

«Umm… What is going on?» Pearce slowly spoke as a slight headache appeared in his head.

«See for yourself» The replica said with a panicked look still on his ethereal face.

When Pearce regained his conciousness, he saw himself being bound in chains along with Lieutenant David, Drake, Roselle and an unconcious Viona. Not only that, but they were currently in a spacious hall that had a strange looking throne that gave off an eerie aura.

"What's going on?" Muttered Pearce with a solemn look on his face when he figured he was bound in chains. But when they other humans heard him, there gloomy face abruptly brighten up.

"Pearce, how are you feeling?" Whispered Lieutenant David since he was right next to Pearce.

"Well, apart from the slight headache am having now, nothing else is wrong with me" Pearce whispered back with a solemn look still on his face.

"Can you still use that your killing intent?" Lieutenant David asked slowly with a hint of anticipation on his face. But what Pearce said next made him feel dejected.

"Am sorry sir but I can only use it once a week"

"Mother we have brought a special gift for you" a deep voice suddenly rang out from the left side of the hall.

'Looks like the leader is coming' Pearce thought with a grave expression on his face.

Whoosh!!

Suddenly, four silhouettes dashed out of an entrance at the left side of the hall and landed right in front of the throne.

Among the four silhouettes, three of them were the werewolves Pearce and the others encountered at the entrance of the monster secret lair.

While the remaining one that seems to be the leader had a rather small build compared to the other three, but it's fur were completely made of silver, it's eyes were also made of glittering silver as it radiates an oppressive and suffocating aura all around the hall.

'So this is a Monster King Rank Powerhouse' Pearce thought with horror written all over his face.
