"And I hope to see you in class on Monday".

"Oh chase... Is it just me or did you dye your hair"

"Huh... Well it's my new look" I said touching my hair

Two people were seen talking to each other in a room

"Have you found anything yet" principal Zain asked taking hold of the tea cup ontop his desk

"We've, investigated the case but we didn't find anything, we also asked some questions, but got no good response" miss woods said.

"Have you figured out what the assassins wanted" Zain asked

"No, but I think they're just ordinary bandits that came to rob the place, but the only thing I don't understand is how they ended up dead".

"Try harder, and find out more, we need to assure both the grey wolf family and the peacock clan that we've got everything under control" Zain said

"I'll try my best sir"

"Don't only try" Zain said sipping the liquid content in the tea cup

"You can go now, I'll contact you when I need your presence" principal Zain dismissed miss woods.

the sound of the door closing after miss woods had left was heard

"Damn, why, and who's doing this, can't they let me live my remaining life on Earth in peace"

[Chase pov]

"Haaa... finally back in my dorm, I missed you dorm, did you miss me too".

*BEEP*

I received a message from my computer.

"What's it this time" I mumbled heading towards the computer.

After reviewing the message from the computer "oh, I forgot it's my birthday today... thank you computer for wishing me a happy birthday".

"Time to get busy". I logged into my computer and begin searching about systems, shape shifting shadow fox, venomous spiked viper and the black steel eagle.

*CLICK-! CLICK-! CLICK-!*

I was getting frustrated that I couldn't find one single page that shows information about my system and supposedly divine pets, and i had been searching for 3 hours.

"Arghhh... this is useless!" I screamed at the top of my lungs.

"Huh... finally" I shouted with joy as I had at least found a page which talked about the divine pets which I had supposedly inherited.

It says on the this page that the shape shifting shadow fox had long gone into extinction and no one had ever seen one after the war with the tarris, it also says that the fox had the ability to change it's form, and they had the ability to manipulate the shadows, but sadly no one had been able to do further research on them.

and as for the black steel eagle, it says that they were very rare and dangerous, it also said that the black steel eagle's powers were mainly based on defense, but if threatened it becomes a ferocious predator.

"There's no information on the Venomous spiked viper" I said as I scrolled down, looking for information about the viper.

"Nothing...!" I yelled as I didn't get any information on the viper, so I skipped into my next search "system".

"Arghhh... Still nothing" I got frustrated, not being able to find even as single piece of information about my system, all I saw was the system for gamers.

I logged off my computer "I need to get some rest" I said as I went to my bed.

I stood up from my bed heading towards the bathroom to freshen up.

It was a new day, and I had decided to put my system to the test.

After I was done in the bathroom, I left my dorm, heading towards the gym.

On arriving at the gym, I was mesmerized by the sheer size of it, sure I was told that the gym was quite large, but I didn't expect it to be this big.

There were different sections for different different type of training, the gym had a gravity section, which could maximize the gravity that one was feeling, it had the weapon room for those who wanted to practice with weapons, it had the body building section, it focused mainly on strength of the body, it had Mana control section, it was a very quiet room built with sound proof glass for meditation.

I walked into the gym, I was surprised that the people here were quite few.

I walked towards the weapon section.

I was shocked to see that this section had almost every weapon known to mankind.

Though mankind now had divine pets to protect them, they still needed weapons to defend themselves incase of emergency or when the divine pet is respawning.

I pulled out a short katana from the collection of weapons, katana has always been my thing albeit I've never used it.

After taking out the katana a screen appeared before me with a systematic voice, but this time it wasn't my system.

I had never expected it to be so modern, I thought it would be the type of training where one would just swing his weapon continually until he had mastered it

"I really need to go out more" I thought.

I raised my index finger tapping on the level1 option as I needed to start from the basics.

The voice sounded again, but this time bringing out something else.

Standing before me was a wooden dummy, and on it's hands, a wooden sword and a wooden shield,

"I wasn't expecting this" I said readying my weapon

[Start training in 5 seconds]

The systematic voice sounded.

[Fight]

The voice said one more time, immediately i started sprinting towards me.

I swung my katana horizontally, intending to slice the wooden dummy in half. To my surprise it reacted swiftly with it's shield, blocking my attack, it then swung it's own wooden sword.

*Arghhh* I screamed in pain

"What is this, is this level1 or the system has been rigged" I yelled out of frustration that I had been sent flying by a level1 wooden dummy and that too in one strike.

But I wasn't going to give up just yet, I stood up from the floor raising my katana towards the dummy

"Let's try that again"
