After Jake had left to get our drinks, Adam and Lucy were chatting happily, but Natalia seemed to be lost in thought, she still had that expressionless look on her face.

As for me, I was thinking about the orb and what had happened earlier.

I was surprised After the sudden appearance of the screen that I lost my balance a bit.

"Are you ok chase" Adam asked with a worried look on his face

"huh...oh nothing, am fine" I said looking back at him.

I was trying to see if he could also see the screen before my face, but he didn't seem to notice it.

"Does he not notice the screen" I thought, what does it mean by new pets acquired, and what the hell does it mean by foxy charm has been activated.

But does no one really see this screen, is it all in my head. It turned to Natalia to see if she noticed the screen, but she still had that expressionless look, maybe she doesn't see it.

I turned to Lucy but she was acting strangely "is she blushing" i didn't know if it was me or was Lucy trying to avoid eye contact with me. But still she didn't notced the screen. I looked at the screen one more time

I was sure that all these things were related to the orb, "but how" all I knew now was I wasn't going to get the answers just by sitting here.

"Guys am back" Jake was back with some bottles in his hands

"here you go chase" he had handed out the bottles to everyone and he had given me mine.

"So what were you guys talking about" Jake asked

"oh me and Lucy were just talking about what kind of Divine pet we would like to have a contract with" Adam replied. Suddenly there was a loud destructive sound outside

*BOOM*

"W-what's going on" Lucy asked "I don't know... let's go check it out" Jake replied.

"no way I'm going out there, can't you see people running, let's save ourselves" Adam was right people were running in different directions, and we didn't even know what was going on

"I agree with Adam let's look for a safe place to stay for the mean time" Lucy said. In my own point of view, she was right, I wasn't about to loose my life for nothing while trying to act cool.

While we were making decisions on what to do, Natalia had left us, she went straight outside towards the place where we had heard the sound

"you guys can stay here like cowards but I'm going to help Natalia, but I expected more from you chase" Jake said as he left us.

"We can hide under the counter near the bar" Lucy suggested

"Arghhh, I can't do this, I have to help Natalia, she needs me" Adam said screaming

"well that's on you, I'm going to stay put until help arrives" I said running towards the counter that Lucy had suggested. I wasn't stupid and I wasn't ready to die a hero.

I knew by now someone would have sent an SOS text to the school management and they would be here any minute, and everything would be ok.

Adam had run towards the door, "he would just be a burden to them" I thought.

On reaching the counter, I found out that I wasn't the only one who thought of hiding here, nearly everyone in the club was hiding in here and Lucy was also here "she's really fast for a girl".

I quickly hid under the counter waiting for the school to act

*BOOM*

Three people had been sent flying into the club and I knew them very well, it was Adam, Jake and Natalia and with them was their divine pets, Jake had his grey wolf tinted with red, and no they weren't blood it's just the way it looks, it was the secret weapon of the grey wolf family, they had the power to control wolves and coming from the main family, he was betrothed the red lightning wolf and as for Natalia, her family was called the ice peacock clan, and unlike Jake family where the heir would be given the divine pet (red lightning wolf) directly without any training whatsoever, Natalia family would ensure that their family members would hunt divine pets by themselves and so she got her contract with the ice peacock as her divine pet.

Back on the club, Jake, Natalia and Adam were loosing this fight with Adam missing his right arm

"I knew he was just going to kill himself, he should've left this for the professionals" seeing the messed up club filled with human flesh and body laying here and there, I wasn't irritated nor was I moved by it.

"should we try to help them" Lucy said with a worried look "you can go ahead, but I'm staying put until the school takes action" I told Lucy

"but..." Lucy was interrupted when six men walked in through the door, they wore bunny mask and they all looked like muscular assassins.

The man in the middle mumbled something to the rest.

Immediately three of them brought out thier divine pets which were the gaseous skunks.

The three skunks released a very choky gas into the air

The gas enveloped the whole bar.

Lucy was the first to react to the gas.

She fell to the floor, then the rest of the people in the club followed
