"HUH?!" As the dazzling light diminished, an unanticipated item came into sight, astounding Daniel. Regaining his composure, he slowly picked the small crystal-like item from the chest. It was an item he was extremely familiar with. "This… isn't this the Soul Fragment?! Huh?! Is this a bug?!!" He exclaimed in disbelief, observing the crystal-like item up close.

He felt like he had been scammed in the name of an ancient treasure, but then he wondered, 'Could it be… this is the ancient treasure?! What if this thing is extremely valuable? Maybe that's the reason I don't have many details about this…?' His eyes instantly lit up at the thought of it. Maybe it was like a treasure in disguise?

When he was about to store the fragment in his inventory, he heard a notification sound, gaining his attention.

Without waiting for a second, Daniel immediately opened the details panel of the soul fragments. A blue holographic display materialized before him, displaying all the available details on the soul fragment.

"!!" Daniel was shocked. "A hidden class!" He exclaimed, struggling to breathe. Well, it may sound a little exaggerated but a hidden could completely turn someone's life around. Closing the details panel, he stored the fragment in his inventory. Now, only two more were needed before he could unveil all the secrets about the mysterious person and the hidden class.

"Senior Nico! It's done! I got the treasure!" He walked near Nico, taking the fragment out and showing it to him. Nico took it from him and inspected it closely. He was amazed by the amount of energy stored inside the fragment. "Yes! This is the ancient treasure of ???" He exclaimed excitedly.

He returned it to Daniel and entered the passageway, planning to return. Suddenly, a thought struck his mind while walking. 'Where will I live?' He whipped around and looked at Daniel with puppy eyes. "Eh?! What happened?!" Daniel tried to assess the situation, but he couldn't think of anything.

"Uhm.. I-I might need to live with you from now on…" Nico stuttered, embarrassment painting his cheeks pink. Daniel kept staring at him blankly before snapping out of it. He said, "Sure… why not?" He was hesitant at first, but thinking about the benefits of it, he could not help but accept it.

"Let's head back to the city." Nico excitedly said, acting like a six-year-old who just got candy. With hurried steps, Daniel and Nico left the secret area and left the dungeon. Daniel didn't want to leave before clearing the entire dungeon but Nico assured him that he would help him the next time.

Daniel took out his teleportation book and clicked on Luminara City. Soon, He was teleported to the inn along with Nico and Lumi. Nico observed the room and felt nostalgic. He recalled the good old days he spent with his family, regretting his foolish decision to explore the ruins. He felt a slight urge to cry but he had to keep his calm in front of Daniel.

Daniel noticed his sad expression but he didn't say anything, what could he do after all? Try to console a man who's lived for more than 4 centuries or what? He got up from the ground and went downstairs to order a meal for himself and Nico. "Ah yes! I also need to buy something for Lumi!" He suddenly remembered about Lumi. "Um… are there any food items for pets here?" He asked the inn owner.

"Yes, there are many, which one would you like?" The chubby woman replied in a friendly and polite manner.

"Glowing berries…" Daniel answered. The woman nodded and walked away. Soon, she brought a delicious meal and some glowing berries with her. The aroma of the food entered Daniel's nose, making him excited to try it out.

He paid her for the meal and went back to his room. He gently put the food down on the floor, giving one plate to Nico and keeping the other one for himself. Nico gobbled down the food but Daniel had to feed Lumi before he could eat himself. He woke her up and took a berry close to her small mouth. She smelled it before munching on it.

She jumped up from the ground, snatching another berry from Daniel's hand. Daniel decided to feed all the berries to her and placed them down on the ground. "Eat up!" With that, he sat cross-legged on the floor, savoring his delicious meal.

After half an hour, A maid knocked at the door. Daniel opened it and handed the plates to her. She slightly bowed before leaving. "The treatment in this inn is far better than the one in the Greenwood City." He let out a satisfied sigh and sat beside Nico.

"So, what's the plan? What will you do now?" Nico curiously asked Daniel. "Um… we will have to clear dungeons for me to get stronger and earn money." Daniel replied.

As soon as Nico heard about money, his eyes started shining brightly. "Did you say… money?!"

"Y-yes, is everything alright?" Daniel asked, startled by his sudden shout.

"Yep yep, everything is good! I will help you clear dungeons from now on!" greed was visible on Nico's face. Daniel laughed inwardly at his childish behavior, but he didn't hate it… maybe because he was greedy as well.
