In a towering skyscraper, a man stood gazing at the city below. His phone rang, breaking the silence. He turned to answer it.
"Hello."
"Sir, everything is proceeding according to plan."
"Good."
"And the boy from my son's school? Did he awaken after the injection?"
"Yes, sir, he did."
"Ensure not a single word leaks out."
"Rest assured, sir. I'll handle it professionally."

"It's so quiet"
"It's about time they made their move, Right" Max muttered.
A knock on the door interrupted his thoughts.
"Speak of the devil"
"Come in."
A man in a black suit entered, carrying a suitcase.
"Hello, Mr. Max. My name is Sam Anderson. You can call me Anderson. I represent Global Wave Industries."
"So you had my mom leave the room to meet me in private. And arranged for the doctor to call her out, right?"
Anderson looked momentarily shocked but composed himself quickly. "Very well, Mr. Max. You're indeed smart. The lesser the people know about this, the better".
"You must know why we are here."
"Somewhat. But let's hear it from you."
"Young Master Dany and his friends committed a grave mistake. Because of this, you and your family have suffered. For that, I deeply apologize. This incident was reported as an accident due to a lack of safety measures at the school. Your report is the only one missing. You need to sign these documents."
He handed over two documents.
"The first states that the incident was an accident. And you agree to the official reports as truth.
The second claims, Dany and his friends were not involved and that you were alone when you fell from the rooftop. They did not bully or harm you in any way before the incident."
"Please sign these documents."
"And what do I get if I sign?"
"Smart indeed. We offer $100,000."
"No, that's too small. Make it $500,000."
"It's not a decision I can make"

"Good." Max signed the documents and received the money.
A message popped up on his phone.

"It would be better if Dany and his friends didn't disturb me until I graduate."
Anderson nodded. "of course, You don't have to worry about that"
He left, closing the door behind him.
