"We're just travelers from a country located across the sea," Yuji replied earnestly.

"Is that so? Your two hail from the land of the sun itself," Drouot spoke with a comprehending expression.

"Do you know my country then?" Yuji asked, his face showing surprise. He never imagined this composite person would be familiar with their country.

"I've met someone from the same country as you before. I remember his name was Yami. Now he's probably the captain of Black Bull squads " Drouot said, his face reflecting on the past.

"So why did you both leave your homeland?" Doraw inquired, curious as to why they both decided to leave their birthplace.

"It's not a big deal. I just didn't want to be forced into marrying a woman I didn't love. As for maomao, she followed me because she wanted to explore the outside world," Yuji lied with a troubled expression.

"Well then, you must have had it tough. But reaching here is already a good thing. From now on, you can live life as you please," Drouot said gently before continuing, "So, what are you both planning to do from now on?"

"I think I'll look for a job because without money, I won't be able to do anything," Yuji said with a worried face.

"If I remember correctly, you both have acquired grimoires, right? Why don't you try applying to become Magic Knights of the Clover Kingdom? The salary is good too," Doraw suggested, both of them being holders of Clover Kingdom's Grimoires. Each of them was immensely powerful, so they were highly sought after by the Clover Kingdom. Hence, he wanted them to apply. After all, he was a noble of the kingdom, so it was customary for him to act in the kingdom's interest.

"Magic Knights?" Yuji asked, intrigued.

"Magic Knights are like the Knights of the Clover Kingdom, and Yami, the captain of the Black Bulls, is from the same country as you. He's also a Magic Knight. That's why I suggest it," Drouot explained.

"To become Magic Knights, you'll need to take an exam, which will be held in the capital city in another 6 months," Drouot explained before continuing, "The journey from your village, Hage, to the capital is quite far. If you're interested in trying the exam, I'll provide you with a map."

"It sounds interesting, but can people from outside the kingdom take the exam?" Yuji asked, looking doubtful.

"Don't worry, I'll write a recommendation letter for you," Drouot replied.

"Alright then," Drouot, the master of the Grimoire Tower, said as he walked away to write the recommendation letter before handing it to Yuji and Momoa, and then continued, "So, what will you both do from now on?"

"We'll probably find a place to stay for tonight first before setting out, since we're outsiders and might not be well-received anywhere," Yuji said.

"Alright, then tonight, you'll stay at the church. Tell them I sent you to stay here," the master of the Grimoire Tower suggested before adding, "I'll contact the church first."

Then the master of the Grimoire Tower summoned a bird with magic, sent it flying outside, and then turned back, saying, "Alright, I've contacted them."

"Thank you, sir. We'll take our leave now," Yuji said, signaling Maomao to follow him as they walked out.

After Yuji and Momoa walked out of the Grimoire dormitory, they saw Asta, covered in dirt, and Yuno, standing smiling at each other. They decided to approach them for a moment.

"Hey, what happened?" Yuji asked, looking at the figure lying on the ground and the cratered area.

When Asta and Yuno heard Yuji's voice, they startled and prepared to fight, fearing they might be enemies. But when they saw Yuji and Maomao, they relaxed, though Yuno still remained wary as he didn't know them and they were outsiders.

"Who are you guys?" Asta asked, gripping his sword tightly. Meanwhile, Yuno stared at Yuji and Momoa sternly without saying anything.

"Calm down, we just wanted to ask for directions," Yuji said. In truth, he already knew the way to the church, but he just wanted to introduce himself to the main characters, even though he disliked Yuno's attitude.

"I'm Yuji," Yuji introduced himself before turning to look at Momoa, who nodded to him. "And this is Maomao. We're travelers."

"Travelers?" Asta asked, puzzled, before continuing, "So, where are you guys from?"

"We're from the land of the sun," Yuji replied.

"The land of the sun? What kind of country is that?" Asta asked, curious.

"It's a country located in the middle of the sea," Yuji tried to answer vaguely because he himself didn't have much information about that country.

"I see," Asta said, understandingly.

Meanwhile, Yuno watched the conversation between the two groups with a neutral expression. In his mind, he was surprised to find out that they were not from the Clover Kingdom, but one of them had received a four-leaf clover grimoire just like him.

'Who are these two?'

"Do you guys know the way to the church?" Yuji asked immediately.

"Oh, yes. I and Yuno are just about to head there," Asta said cheerfully before asking, "So, what brings you to the church?"

"the master of the Grimoire Tower recommended us to stay there for the night since we've just arrived in the kingdom," Yuji said.

"Alright then. Since we're heading there too, can we go with you?" Maomaa asked without preamble, knowing that they would have to go to the church anyway to avoid wasting time. She chose to speak up because she wanted to quickly test the magic she had received.

"Sure, let's go," Asta said cheerfully before turning to call Yuno to head back to the church.

"Wait a moment, Asta," Yuji said, stepping forward towards Asta before using his Ark magic to heal Asta's wounds.

"Healing Star," Yuji extended his hand towards Asta, and golden-yellow particles of light enveloped Asta before his wounds began to heal and disappear completely.

"Wow, your magic is amazing, Yuji!" Asta exclaimed, looking at his healed wounds.

"Your light magic is just like the First Wizard King's magic," Asta stared at Yuji with shining eyes.

Meanwhile, Yuno observed Yuji, pondering if Yuji had any connection to the First Wizard King's magic or not because apart from Yuji's magic, Yuji's Grimoire was also similar to the First Wizard King's.

"Alright, let's go. It's getting dark," Yuji said before joining Asta to walk towards the church.

As they journeyed together towards the church, they conversed and got to know each other. Yuji found Asta to be the easiest to talk to, while Yuno remained stoic as usual. Additionally, he began to understand Momoa's personality, though she seemed nonchalant most of the time. However, when it came to topics she deemed important, she became serious, making her seem like a different person altogether, except when discussing herbs, where she appeared like an eager child, wanting to learn and see more.

Before long, they arrived at the church. Upon reaching the church's entrance, they saw many children playing joyfully. When the children noticed Asta and Yuno, they hurriedly ran towards them with excitement.

"Asta and Yuno are here!"

"Congratulations, Yuno!"

Many of the children gathered around Yuno, knowing that he was the only one to receive a Grimoire, and a a four-leaf clover grimoire at that. As for Asta's Grimoire, they didn't know, so they didn't come to congratulate him.

Seeing the many children congratulating Yuno, Asta proudly displayed his sleek black Grimoire for everyone to see, saying, "Look, I have a Grimoire too!"

"What's that?"

"Is that a Grimoire? It's black, though."

"Asta has a Grimoire too?"

The numerous children gathered around to examine Asta's Grimoire, wondering if it was indeed a Grimoire or not. Asta then drew out his sword to demonstrate his Grimoire.

"See, this is my Grimoire," Asta said proudly.

As everyone accepted that it was a Grimoire, Asta turned to Yuji and Maomao before introducing them to the children.

"This is Yuji, and this is Momoa," Asta said before adding, "Yuji's magic is amazing, just like the magic of the Wizard King!"

"Wow, that's impressive!"

"Show us some magic!"

Surrounded by the children, Yuji took a deep breath before demonstrating his Ark magic for everyone to marvel at.

" Jonah no Junan," Yuji whispered as he used his Ark to create a small shark the size of his hand in the palm of his hand for the children to see.

"Wow, that's amazing!"

"Look, it's a fish!"

Everyone was astonished by Yuji's magic, as they had never seen someone use light magic to create animals like this before, and it was also beautiful to behold.

While everyone was still amazed by Yuji's magic, suddenly the church door swung open
