"Just call me Apophis Kingsheart." She introduced herself with a bright smile.

"Master, Are you sure you are ok," Grayfia asked Yuuya while patting his back slowly and helping him wipe his mouth as he has choked on the tea a second time in a short while it is something she hasn't seen happening to him.

'I just can't catch a break now, can I?' Yuuya thought while looking at Apophis.

'It looks like Yuuya-kun is really not feeling well.' Marin also got worried about his health at first she thought he just played a lot of ero games but that doesn't look like it.

'That is what you get for pushing me down the bed when I tried to get a little kiss,' Apophis just smirked while looking at him.

'Wait, Kingsheart isn't that…' Grayfia was shocked when she finally realized something and looked at Apophis who just whistled.

'The atmosphere here is quite off, No?' Marin thought while looking at Yuuya, Grayfia and Apophis then shook her head.

"Your name is quite exotic, Apophis-san please take care of me," Marin said with a smile.

"I get that a lot, also take care of me as well," Apophis said with a smile.

Marin sat down between Yuuya and Apophis.

"Yuuya-kun are you feeling ok?" Marin asked Yuuya.

"I am fine just a little tired," Yuuya said in his usual tone.

"Don't push yourself Ok," Marin said with a smile, and Yuuya nodded then looked back at the laptop where he was talking with one of the two editors that he will be meeting to talk about the novelization of Re: zero.

'I have to make the illustrations for this one and Overlord so I should take some time before meeting them and there is also….' Yuuya thought while looking at Marin who was talking with Apophis.

Yuuya looked back at the laptop to see that the editor answered.

Machida Sonoka: Then we will meet in one week,

You: I look forward to the meeting then.

Yuuya replied back to the editor from Fujikawa Shoten. It was one of the two publishing companies he chose because it was giving him the best opening contract which was 10% of the profits which is very rare. it is rare for newbie authors to make money even if their works get popular. So it was clear that both companies expected to make a lot of money from this so why does he need to sit back when he can make some more money here.

'I have also looked up the editor she has a good number of famous books under her belt one of them being the current best-selling romance Light Novel 'Love Metronome' written by Kasumi Utako. So I don't need to worry about her not being experienced but I doubt it will matter even if she is a newbie because there isn't much she has to help me with so that's that.' Yuuya thought and messaged the second editor both of the editors knew that they will be meeting Yuuya together for the contract.

Satou Suzuki: I understand, we will meet at the aforementioned time.

The editor Satou Suzuki an editor from Tokisaki Shoten, Though Yuuya isn't keen on this one after he researched this guy.

'The last work he picked up failed as well. The contract was 9% of the profit so it is good to let them face off for me to get a better contract.' Yuuya thought.

As for the reason he was reluctant was that this guy is somewhat corrupted.

'From embezzlement to pressuring the author under him even though it was suppressed by the company to protect their image but it isn't that uncommon for such events to happen. well, I can ask for a new editor before I sign the contract and I doubt the company will let go of two good novels just to keep him' Yuuya thought.

'It might not look good but it is how it is, as the novel is wanted even though they were a bit reluctant to have a meeting like this but after I told them that I have a second novel they jumped right in for it. well, whatever I just have to get the best contract for me the rest doesn't matter for me.' Yuuya thought and talked to the two editors that they will meet at his house and they didn't have a problem with it.

After Yuuya had done all of the things that were needed he placed the laptop on the table.

Yuuya looked to his right to see Marin looking at him.

"What happened?" Yuuya asked.

"N-Nothing," Marin shook her head.

'He looks so good when he concentrates I forgot I was staring at him so openly, ahhhhhhhh~~.' Marin was flustered inside her mind she was still a bit shy around him after what she had said to him last time.

'She even has the same habit of staring at him absent-mindedly, even without her memory she is pretty much the same except for the personality which is quite good in my opinion.' Apophis smiled as she looked at Marin.

"It is ok," Yuuya said waving his hand and looking at the time it was 6 P.M. at the moment.

"Woof!!" Hati just stormed into the room and jumped on Yuuya.

"Easy there," Yuuya caught her and placed her on his lap petting her.

"OMG this puppy is so cute," Marin's eyes shined as she moved closer to Yuuya to see Hati. this was the first time she met Hati.

"Hmm, she is cute." Yuuya nodded.

'Why does he sound a little proud?' Marin thought but shrugged it off as she moved her hand to stroke Hati who didn't mind it.

'What is so good about that furball. Hmph, snakes are way cuter. But this isn't that bad I guess.' Apophis pouted when she saw how Yuuya was petting Hati and her gaze somewhat softened as she saw his lips move up a little.

"When did you get a pet Yuuya-kun? And what breed is it? It is totes the cutest puppy I have seen." Marin asked while petting Hati who was on Yuuya's lap.

"Her name is Hati, as for her breed I don't know as she was a stray before I found her," Yuuya said in his monotonous voice but to Apophis, he did sound a little happy this is also the reason she hasn't turned Hati into stone for sleeping in his bed.

'As I said you are quite lucky. Well whatever,' Apophis looked at Hati causing the pup to look around in panic.

"Is that so, I think she must be a Shiba Inu from her looks but she is a bit too tame for that I guess," Marin said with a smile as she tickled Hati's chin and Yuuya just nodded.

"WOOF~~~" Hati was loving the petting and tickles at the moment forgetting about the uncomfortable feeling.

'Well, I can't just say meet my new pet the Black Fenrir at least not in this world.' Yuuya just shrugged in his mind.

"Dinner is ready everyone," Grayfia walked into the room and told everyone.

"Your timing is perfect Grayfia, I was feeling really hungry as well," Marin said as she stood up and Grayfia just waved her hand with a smile then walked back in towards the kitchen.

"Yeah me too," Apophis said while standing up. All of them started walking towards the kitchen and Apophis walked near Yuuya.

"Woah, Apophis-san you are really tall. I really wish I had height like you and Grayfia." Marin said as she looked at Apophis in amazement.

"Yeah, only Yuuya is taller than me. but don't worry you are still young, so you still have time to grow." Apophis said with a smile as she looked at Marin.

"All of you are so tall, do you have a secret tell me as well," Marin said causing Apophis to laugh and shake her head.

It isn't that marin is dissatisfied with her height she is just curious about how all of them are so tall.

Apophis is 5ft 10in with quite a well-endowed body and long smooth legs that can charm anyone doesn't matter who it is. Grayfia is 5ft 8in with her devilish curves that even her maid uniform can't hide both of them can make goddesses bow their heads in defeat and Grayfia is the third tallest in the house with Yuuya being the tallest.

It was really surprising for Marin who had a little above the average height of 5ft 4.8in seeing that Yuuya is nearly a foot taller than her was a little surprising for her.

They all entered the kitchen and saw that Grayfia had already placed all the dishes on the table.

"Everyone please," Grayfia said and everyone sat down in their seats. Hati was standing in front of her bowl which was near Yuuya's chair.

"Grayfia is it a special occasion?" Marin asked as she looked at the table that was filled with dishes.

"No, I just felt like trying out different recipes, and this is how it ended up. And well Apophis-san kind of eats really well so I don't have to worry about food leftovers." Grayfia said with a small smile.

"I just need a lot of calories taking care of a certain trouble child, but the food is also tasty," Apophis said with a smug look as she crossed her arms under her bust.

'….Sure you do,' Yuuya didn't bother answering her.

"Must be hard on you Apophis-san," Marin said with a smile teasing Yuuya as well.

"Let's eat then," Yuuya said while ignoring them.

"Itadakimasu~~"

Everyone said and picked up their chopsticks with Yuuya picking up a piece of Tuna & Vegetable Nori rolls with Salmon roe.

He ate it slowly chewing it while Grayfia was looking at him in anticipation.
