I have a plan

Meanwhile, Ella caught two pairs of eyes watching her when she instinctively glanced across the room. Her eyes met a pair of dark blue eyes, piercing through her soul. Ella gulped. Her eyes slowly wandered from his eyes to the rest of his face. He was handsome with his raven black hair curled up on his head. His masculine jawline and slightly pointed nose complemented the rest of his aristocratic face. She blushed in embarrassment as she averted her gaze. She was gawking at a stranger and secretly admiring him at that! She turned her attention back to her friend as she tried to shake the image of those blue eyes from her head.

"Ella your cheeks are red, you okay?" Hazel asked as she studied her friend's face closely.

"Yeah." Ella half smiled, assuring her friend that she was alright.

"I need to use the bathroom I will be back shortly." Ella said as she stood up and walked away. Her palms were sweaty probably just a rush of adrenaline. For some reason the way that stranger looked at her bothered her, in good or a bad way, that she could not tell but luckily she did not have plans on seeing him after today. She opened the tap, splashed water on her face, washed off her makeup and decided to go home for a good night rest.

Two hours later…

"Fellis, I want all the information you can find on Ella Gonzalez." Diablo told a young woman that was standing before him as he showed her a picture.

"Yes, sir." Fellis who was his secretary answered calmly as she observed the girl in the picture. She was used to her boss telling her to gather information on various people but they were occasionally girls.

'Who was this Ella?' she silently wondered as she walked away. Diablo sat at his desk, leaning back as he unbuttoned the first three buttons of his shirt. He had left the hotel about an hour ago and decided to head to the office at his company's headquarters. The wall clock in his office chimed, it was midnight. He tapped his long fingers on the table as he closed his eyes. He seemed to be waiting for something or rather someone. At exactly five minutes past twelve, a dim blue light illuminated the room creating a circular entrance. Diablo stood up and walked through, entering an elegantly decorated room. He knew this place; it was the royal library back home; he was in hellion. A man who stood facing him bowed his head slightly in greeting. He was dressed in an elite uniform, looking more like a pilot than a royal guard. He was Carlos, one of the most respected and trusted guards to the royal family of hellion.

"Greetings from the royal family, your highness."

"Greetings Carlos." Diablo replied as his probing gaze told the man before him to get to business.

"I am afraid I do not have very impressing news to share. "Carlos said.

"What do you have to say?" Diablo asked as his bros knitted slightly into a frown. He had a feeling he was not going to like the impending news.

"Her majesty, queen Dianne has arranged a ball at the palace ordering your presence. Several princesses will attend and you should take one of them for a bride." Diablo heaved a sigh of frustration. He wasn't surprised anyway, his dear mother always dreamt of seeing him get married and sire an heir to the throne since he was the crown prince and it was his duty. But he did not want to meet any of those princesses, who were probably eying his position and power for their own benefits. If he was going to make any lifelong commitments like marriage, he decided he was going to do so at his pace and not because his mother was breathing down his neck.

"Your highness, the ball will be there in a week time, will you attend." Carlos asked carefully. Diablo was silent for a while before a smirk played on his lips. He had thought of a plan that could not only leave Carlos but everyone in utter shock. Carlos silently wondered why the prince looked rather pleased not knowing that he was in for a surprise.

"I will be there." Diablo said before he turned and walked away leaving Carlos wondering what he was up to.

He threw his coat over his shoulder as he walked to his private suite that was in his office. He touched he glass on the wall and pushed back as it opened revealing the cozy room. He took a quick shower and retired to bed thinking of how he was going to execute his plan the next day.
