I caught you
The king frowned when he saw the expression on his daughter's face. It was one he knew so well. A pained expression that had haunted him several times.
"Dear, come here." He offered and stretched out him arms for her.
Clarice hugged him and both remained silent for a while, not knowing exactly what to say to each other rather than to offer comfort.
What had happened had affected them deeply and they were yet to recover from the pain.
"Father, I am going to find whoever is responsible for this. And once I catch them, I will show them just how well tiger teeth can bite." Clarice promised as she pulled away, her eyes filled with determination.
"Okay, we will do that together then." The king added making Clarice smile. Of course her old man could never miss out on the action.
