Internal and External Enemies
Goodness suddenly realized what had happened.
Baddieness had picked her up and threw her directly at Lenny as a distraction.
At the time of the short, quick battle, Goodness had been so focused on fighting Lenny that she had forgotten about the existence of Baddieness.
"Sister Loren, that there was Lenny Tales. He is quite good-looking." She appeared jittery, but her expression suddenly saddened. "But now he is finished."
Loren looked like a normal person with two normal eyes and a normal body, except that she had two pairs of tusks growing on either side of her mouth.
Loren raised a brow at her, "What do you mean?"
"Sister Baddieness used me as a decoy to get to him. I bet she has already eaten him all up by now."
Loren frowned. "Maybe not! Not if I catch up to them first."
"You know where they went?"
"Of course." As she talked, her big bat-like wings appeared on her back, and she flapped them as she rose into the air.
