Chapter 14

Rowen was still mad at her mate but she really wants to see him, not even the doctor, she was feeling so much emotions, she wanted to go for a run, she wanted to eat, she wants to see her family and her bestie, she wants so many things, but her thoughts were interrupted by the doctor coming inside the room.

“Hello Rowen, how are you feeling?”

The doctor was hot Rowen thought, she feels many will lie they are sick just to have a look at him.

“Am fine doctor, but something feels off, am so hungry as if I can eat whole pot of food, my heart is beating fast, I want to go for a run, I want to see my mate….please scratch that last part, I don’t want to see that idiot”.

Everyone was gaping at her.

“What?”. She shouted.

“Am sorry miss Rowen, something happened while you were in coma”.

“Ok am all ears, what happened?”. There is something definitely wrong with her, she was even speaking wrongly.

“I wanted to speak to you first before I tell the alpha what’s going on, I owe that at least to my patient”.

“I appreciate that sir, but am I sick? am I dying?”.

“No dear, far from that, you were bleeding so much after the fight and was loosing so much blood, we had to use the last solution which was the alphas blood, but I can assure you that the alpha always give blood to people whenever they are severely injured and it greatly improved their health”.

“But…...”. Rowen supplied for him.

“It altered your body in ways I cannot explain, I was monitoring your body while he was transfusing his blood to you and there was change in your cells, as if your metabolism increased times five”.

“Ok that explains why am so hungry, or while I finished almost four bottles of water, so what really happened? Are you saying his blood altered my body?”.

“We have no concrete message for you now my dear, but we discontinued the blood transfusion immediately we noticed the changes, but it so odd that your body changed, others took his blood and it actually served as a nutrient”.

Well even her body is rebelling against him, that serves him right, Rowen thought. “So can I go for a run, like right now, you can discuss with the alpha and come up with a solution, but before then can you show me to the room where Athena is staying, I would love to apologize to her, I really don’t know what happened I just snaped”.

“Miss Rose, you don’t need to explain, we understand what happened, but I will take you there, she’s fine though, the alpha gave her blood and she’s fine now but she’s still resting”.

Rose followed the doctor to another room where Athena laid down on a bed with her hand covering her eyes.

“Hi Athena”.

Athena literally jumped out of her bed and moved to the other side of the room, there was fear in her eyes.

“I know I have to serve you and do your bidding for a time, but I need rest, you broke my leg, my wolf is still shaken by what happened”.

“Am sorry Athena, I just snapped, I really don’t need anyone that will serve me for a year, instead I want a friend that will train me, you and Eve can give me your best”.

“I and Eve are really not friends”.

“With time you guys will learn to like each other”.

“Thank you, I would not have been so merciful if I were in your shoes”.

“As I showed you mercy, be merciful to the others”.

“Ok, if you want me to help you, fine, your training starts tomorrow, I and eve will join you”.

Rowen left with the doctor that followed her.

“You will really make a good lunar”.

“You can tell that to your grumpy alpha”.

The doctor laughed hard. “You know, you are the only one that can call him that and get away with it”.

“Please discuss this with him and come out with a solution, I don’t want to keep going around feeling drunk”.

She went for a run immediately, but she was not tired, everyone that passed her were surprised because she was badly wounded. Rowen do not care who was watching or not, she just noticed that her speed, had increased, her sight was double more that before, she kept running for five hours before her wolf calmed down.

She went to her room to find Ciara waiting for her, Ciara ran to her and hugged her tightly.

“Are you ok? you got everyone worried”.

“Apart from my mate obviously”.

“That’s not true, he was so worried, he took you to the hospital himself and stayed by your bed side till you became stable”.

“Really, that’s up to him, but am famished, I can eat a cow right now”.

“Don’t worry I already sent for food”.

“Thank you, please after eating, gist me everything that happened while I was down.
