"Mother." All eyes turned to where Ella stood.
Truth be told, she didn't know how to talk to her mother after such a long time apart. But all in all, she wanted to believe her mother didn't abandoned her for all those years and only showed up because she needed answers to her child's outgrowing problem.
Still her mother didn't say a word. She just stayed where was seated and looked at her. Almost expectant. Like she wanted to hear what Ella had to say, for she had nothing to say. And it pierced into Ella's heart, knowing her mother didn't have anything to say to her, her own daughter.
"Thank you coming. I hope you had a lovely journey." It wasn't a question, but a statement. Since she wasn't going to get an answer. "Since you're here, why don't we get down right to it?" Ella continued regardless.
"I want to see my grandchild." Was her replied.
