A mistake?

[lisa while lying on her bed in morning .]

wow! i have never realised that i could ever can get this much attention! i have always underestimated myself...

"lisa! get up (mom opens the door)

oh! sweetie , you are already up! good get ready for school."

"yes mom".

[in school]

while walking in the corridor rachel asks to lisa

"hey , ever thought about trying something new like partying?"

"nope, and never until i get to clear my entrance exam this year".

" wow. you are so boring lisa! you always talk about study , study and study! why? i am sure that you will enjoy!"

(lisa stops walking)"i know that you all like this kind of stuff, but in my case it's different see, my parents are not that rich and they are barely able to pay the school fee , if i weren't given scholarship i would not be studying here!"

" i know ! but sometimes life is more than just to study and its more than responsibilities , you can think about it!"

suddenly lisa and rachel sees dinesh with his parents talking to the principal at the corridor and they leaves.

"hey , did you see that rachel?"

"yup ! i think it is because of the complain which you did ! now i think lisa you shouldn't have done that"

"why? yesterday you were supporting me , isn't it wrong to be silent and to see his idotic behaviours towards everyone we are not his slave!"

"yeah! but his father is a politician he can even put you behind the bars without any reason!"

"we will see , lets go! "

after the class. rachel talking to lisa while walking.

"ugghhh this thermodynamics sucks! i guess whole physics sucks!"

"come on rachel with a bit of practice you ca-"

suddenly lisa notices that her teacher is calling her.

"lisa ! come here " teacher says

"why is she calling me? i guess i have to go "

"ok then see ya i will wait here"

lisa walks towards her teacher.

"what happened mam?"

"lisa you are called to the principal office right now!"

"ok mam!"

lisa arrives at principal's office

"sir , you called me?"

"yes, i wanted to tell you that you are doing very good in your studies and you will be able to get special classes from the teachers since you are in top 10 but if you keep interfering in other students business you might not get that!"

" but sir, yesterday you listened to me and he is really irritating other students "

"he is irritating other students not you! be in your limits lisa otherwise it wouldn't be too good for you , take it as a warning!"

lisa replies in a low voice "ok sir!"

when lisa walks out of the office she sees dinesh with his gang giving her a visicous look.

"oh! look someone is sad or angery?"

other guys with dinesh laughs. while dinesh comes closer to lisa.

"lisa! hmmm you know what , it's better that you stay away from me you should focus on your studies and looks cause you lack in them haha"

" listen i don't wanna talk you!"

" oh why? you should take it as an advantage that a handsome guy like me is talking to an ugly girl like you!"

dinesh whispers in lisa's ear "you know what yes! you are ugly but it would be different if you wear a shorter skirt than this and a tighter top."

and he caresses her inner tighs.

lisa in anger slaps him. everyone gets a horrific expression on their face and gets surrounded by a horrific silence.

dinesh tries to twist her wrist but lisa pushes him and runs.

"YOU WILL REGRET THIS INSULT!"

"get lost ! lisa shouts while running"

lisa then returns to rachel running

"what happened why are you running and what did the principal said?"

"you know what dinesh parents made the principal against me and now he is threatening me that if i interferes into dinesh and stuff that wouldn't be good for me"

"ok but then why were you running ?"

"cause i slaped dinesh!"

"WHAT ? BUT WHY ? DO YOU EVEN KNOW THAT WHAT HE CAN DO?"

"ya i know but he went too far he touched me where he shouldn't "

" yes i know but you shouldn't-"

"why i shouldn't i will cause i have my self respect!"

"ok but now try to avoid him at all costs and please be careful"

" ok but why are you so scared?"

"you don't know lisa! what he can approach"

"come on lets not overthink it!" lisa says

"i guess you are right lets go!"

lisa while sitting on her seat on bus and looking out of the window and thinking

("why are they so scared to fight towards wrong ? they should stand up against them maybe cause his father is a politician but, don't they know that if they will try to stand together against wrong they can turn the tables ! i don't know but did i really made a mistake by slapping him, i don't know i only know this that i stood up for myself.")
