Samira, visibly uncomfortable, began whistling nonchalantly as if trying to escape the conversation. The truth was that she hadn't said goodbye to Rogue for a more selfish reason: Samira, being a possessive woman, didn't want Strax getting any more involved with her friend. The thought of losing any control over the situation made her uneasy, and she preferred to keep Rogue away from the group without much explanation.

What the hell am I talking about? This crazy woman just wants that slut to stay away from her husband!

"What was that now, Samira?" Strax asked, with a slightly suspicious smile, crossing his arms as he waited for an answer.

'She's so cute when she's jealous,' he thought.

"Oh, I just… you know, thought it would be better this way," Samira replied, still avoiding looking directly at either Rogue or Strax as she scratched one of her arms.
