Chapter 8

(A/N sorry for not updating recently, these past two weeks have been hard for and on me. I felt like shit and life treated me as so.

A tall petite woman with blond hair and glasses marched the halls of the girls dorms

and pushed Louise's door open

It was just sunrise

"Chibi Louise ! Wake up, we're going home."

Louise wakes up yawning into her fist

"Who could it be this early waking me ?" Louise

"It is me, your older sister Eleanor." Eleanor

"Eleanor ! Why are you here !?" Louise exclaimed

"What !? Why can't I be here ? Pack your things, we're leaving." Eleanor

Because Louise was caught completely off guard she followed her instincts and did what she was told.

After grabbing everything of use and value and throwing it inside of a bag, she asked Eleanor

"Where are we going ?" Louise

"Why are you talking back to me ? You have forgotten your manners, huh ?" Eleanor said with a stern expression, with her arms folded

"No, sister I-" Louise started

"Than save your questions." Eleanor said dragging Louise by her shoulder

When the two got to the courtyard, Eleanor seen Siesta

"You there, I'll have you come with me and be my maid until we get home." Eleanor said dragging Siesta to the carriage by her shoulder as well

(A/N I guess being an annoying, entitled bitch runs in the family)

Julio was in the distance with his blue eyed white dragon ( A/N All my peeps thats watched Yu-Gi-Oh )

One last time inside of the carriage Louise asked why she had to go home

"Because you will be married to a suitable groom." Eleanor answered

"But I don't want a husband, I'm not ready." Louise

"Now your doing it on purpose !" Eleanor said and started pinching Louise's cheek

"Chibi Louise ! You chibi !" Eleanor

"Sister I'm sowwy." Louise said to get Eleanor to let go of her face

Scene change Arrival at Louise's home

The group arrived at a mansion that was even bigger than the one Siesta and Diablo have to her parents

Once they entered the house, about twenty servants were lines up in front of the door single file in two lines

"Welcome home, Lady Eleanor and Lady Louise!" They all said at the same time

"Louise." a lady who looked similar to Louise called

She had long pink hair with a similar face to Louise, with big bust

"Big sister Cattleya !" Louise squeaked and ran to her in excitement and hugged her, burrying her

"He he, let me see your face." Cattleya

Louise looked up at her

"You have grown into an even cuter girl." Cattleya said with a gentle smile

Scene change again

Louise, her sisters and her mom sat a dinner table

Her mom having pink hair and a similar face to Eleanor, very stern

The dinner was silent. But Louise was about to speak up

Elsewhere

Diablo was on his way to Valliere estate

After a few hours of being at Valliere manor, Siesta had snuck out and sent a message to her her sisters Rem, and Shera using a price of paper and wind magic

Through out the day Rem would send various birds to her to check and report the details of Louise's home to them.

The situation had been explained by Siesta, and it's obvious that Louise's family is going to unknowingly endanger Louise's mission given to her by Princess Henrietta

Back at Valliere manor

"Mom why must I-" Louise was once again interrupted by Eleanor

"Mother please explain to Louise she will be married off and that's that."

"She is probably bullied and ridiculed at school anyways sincen she can't use magic."

Eleanor

Louise stood up, pointed at Eleanor and shouted

"That was the case but not anymore. Shouldn't you get married first if since we're talking about marriage." Louise

Eleanor was the eldest daughter out of three, it's to be expected that she marries before the youngest

"No ! Louise, that subject is-" Cattleya was too late because Eleanor had already been triggered by Louise's statement

Eleanor's face turned as red as a tomato and she stood up, forced herself to use words to respond to Louise

"I was....engaged.....but it was annulled. Saying "He couldn't take it. It was too much." Whatever that meant." Eleanor said about to explode

"Girls enough ! We will no longer talk about this until your father comes home tomorrow." Louise's mother Karin de la Valliere said

"Princess Henrietta needs my strength." Louise argued

"What could she possibly need from you, "zero" Louise,

(A/N yep being an entitled bitch does run in the family, of course her name is Karin. SMH)

Scene change bedtime

Louise couldn't sleep, so she went Cattleya's room and got in the bad

"Hello little sister." Cattleya

"High Cattleya. I couldn't sleep." Louise

"I know this engagement talk is really worrying you isn't it ?" Cattleya

"Yes big sister, why is Eleanor so mean to me, even when we were younger she bullied me." Louise

"Because, your cute. It's the same with me and mother and father, we all love you so much that we constantly want to involve ourselves in your life and make the decisions we feel is best for you. Even if those decisions are wrong." Cattleya said turning to face Louise

"Hmmm....I wish they would let me decide for myself." Louise

Meanwhile Diablo had just arrived at Valliere manor

He had never been sneaky before but he was able to navigate the humongous mansion of Louise's family without getting caught by any of the many servants here

Any time a servant was in range Diablo would use his speed to vanish, so no servant actually saw him

He was looking for Siesta, because despite Rem's judgement, Louise's family was just an regular noble family, and this espionage mission Siesta was sent on was just a waste of time

While Diablo was walking past a door, he heard a female voice

He opened the door and seen a blonde woman asleep on the bed

"So you must be..... Eleanor." Diablo said to himself trying to remember her name, and walking up to her

She was sound asleep, but talking

"Don't say anything, just make love to me." Eleanor said and surprisingly grabbed Diablo

Inside of Eleanor's dream

"My love Eleanor, I regret cancelling our engagement." A handsomebrown haired man with two long strings for a mustache said

"I forgive you....it doesn't matter just make love to me." Eleanor said and tried to kiss Diablo

( What....what is with this situation !?

I'm not safe here.) Diablo thought in his mind

Diablo's temperature raised and he pushed her away and ran out of the room

"Diablo ?"

"WHAT !?" Diablo exclaimed and started leaning back against the door, not looking at the person who called him

"Oh I'm sorry...." Siesta said lowering her head

"What ? No...D-Don't be sorry, I..I didn't know it was my beautiful wife. Ha ha." Diablo nervously laughed

"Why are you guarding that door. Is it something in there that others shouldn't see ?" Siesta asked with an curious expression

"No...What makes you think that, there's nothing to see in there." a few small beads of sweat went down Diablo's face

"Okay....I understand, you have a secret that I have no right to know about." Siesta said lowering her head again

"No ! That isn't the case." Diablo

A smile went on Siesta's face

"I know I was joking with you the whole time I saw what happened inside of the room." Siesta

Siesta took the chance for additional alone time with Diablo and guided him to her room

They didn't go home that night

Next day on the patio

The women of Valliere family were all there at a table, eating biscuits (A/N silly English people, there called cookies lol), with tea

"Has Louise returned ?" A familiar voice called

The Valliere women looked up and seen

Louise's father, Duke Sandorion de la Valliere called walking into the area

He had shoulder length blond hair, with a monocle over his left pink eye

he also had a big mustache with the ends that pointed upward and a a blond goatee

"Your late in returning.

Did the military meeting run overtime ?" Karin asked

Louise wanted to cut to the point

"Father why do I have to marry !?" Louise

"Yes, I must soon leave again. Military life really is pathetic, dispatching troops and inflaming the citizens with war.

What a problematic Queen we have." Sandorion

Louise got defensive and stood up

"F-Father Queen Henrietta isn't aggravating the war at all !" Louise said

"What do you possibly understand !? Listen Louise, you do not have to force yourself to learn magic.

Return home and get yourself a groom. That is the end of this conversation." Sandorion said and walked away from where he came

"Father !" Louise called

"Look like it's decided. We should quickly arrange Louise's engagement.

That's the best way to get her settled." Eleanor

"Why if we're talking about marriage, shouldn't you, get married first" Louise

"Didn't I tell you my engagement got dissolved." Eleanor said while pinching Louise's face

"I'm sorry." Louise murmured to make Eleanor let go

"I'm just not ready to be married yet."

Louise

"Mother, sister, you're troubling Louise with this sudden marriage talk." Cattleya

Karin looked at Louise and asked

"Is there someone in your heart already ?" Karin

Louise looked down and thought about the question and looked back up with an serious expression

"I don't know....." Louise

Elsewhere

Diablo and Siesta have packed up and were ready to go, but as they were going to fly off they seen Louise crying in a boat in the family lake

Diablo only stared, Siesta noticed this

"My lord, I can tell you want to talk to her so why don't you." Siesta

(How many times am I going to tell you not to call me that.) Diablo mentally complained

Diablo was troubled, he wanted to say something to her, but didn't know what to say.

"It's difficult....." Diablo said

"If you mean you don't know what to say to her, then that doesn't matter." Siesta

Diablo sent a questioning look at Siesta

"It doesn't matter what you say or do, you have a way of bringing joy and happiness just by being there and you always make the right decision. If anyone could change the world....it's you. Now go." Siesta

(That entire speech was meant to give me confidence, buy now my anxiety is beyond understanding.) Diablo thought

Diablo had decided to go, before Siesta could say more

He walked to the boat, that at the bay and stepped in

The boat went down and back up from Diablo's weight

"Dry your face." Diablo said looking at the sky, then used water magic to give the boat a slow push across the lake

"(sniff)....(sniff)...So Mr. Perfect came to lecture me next huh ?" Louise whined

"You don't even know how I feel do you, being alone is something you've never had to experience, you've always had amazing people around you, like Shera and Rem... and Krum and the others. SO WHAT DO YOU KNOW ABOUT ANYTHING !" Louise yelled

Diablo stared at Louise

"....HAHAHAHAHAHHA" Diablo laughed at Louise

"I used to look so pathetic huh ?" Diablo said

Louise's tears stopped and she gave Diablo a confused glare

"Oh, I only met them about a year ago." Diablo

"Before I met them I was even more alone than you....at least you have a family that cares about you." Diablo

Louise's face turned into shock

"Aren't you a noble, a powerful one at that why would you be alone ?" Louise

"It's been years since I've last seen or talked to my family, they don't even care about me, you and I are are around the same age, yet my family hasn't made a single attempt to reach out to me all these years." Diablo

"They probably haven't even realized that I have left their world yet and they don't care either." Diablo

Louise was speechless, of course she was, you never really know what you have until you lose it huh ?

(A/N think about that kids)

The boat reached the other side of the lake and a group could be seen

Louise's parents and a bunch of male servants were there

Diablo stepped out of the boat and faced Sandorion de la Valliere

"This girl right here can't be married off yet, she's under a secret mission for your Queen Henrietta." Diablo

"And who are you, you expect me to believe that ?" Sandorion

"You are not qualified to ask who I am, you are more qualified to ask your Queen about me." Diablo answered

"Guards; Arrest this commoner." Sandorion

"Right !" Servants

"Father don't try to-" Louise tried to intervene, but the situation escalated before anything could be done about it

Diablo stomped the ground and a magic circle formed

Around Louise who was still in the boat, water

formed a massive wave; The wave came down

and not even the combined strength of the great Sandorion and even greater Karin, who

was the commander of the manticore knights could defend against it.

The entire group was washed away, soaked

Diablo grabbed Louise and Siesta and flew off
