Chapter 19 Void mage and Gandalfr

A meeting was being had in the evening, between the Queen, Princess Henrietta, and many Nobles, at a discussion table

"We must surrender to Albion !" Noble 1

"Are you dumb, that is against the honor of Tristain." Noble

"Do you understand the might of Albion, they will be here in two days our only options are surrender and live or fight and die !" Noble 1

Princess Henrietta stood up

"We will not be surrendering to Albion, I will fight on the front lines myself in this crisis." Princess Henrietta said and then looked at her Mother, who then smiled approvingly

The Next Day at the school

"What !?" "We're going to war." "Well time to evacuate

The nobles within the school, was informed of this crisis by Princess Henrietta

"Heh are you all scared of a little scuffle." Guiche asked smelling his rose wand

"Oh, so I take it you're going out there to fight Guiche ?" Kirche said walking up

"Yes of course....My father is the general so I have no choice." Guiche said looking depressed

"Well I'm from Germania so I was thinking about heading on home, but the question is what is darling going to do ?" Kirche asked with a interested expression on her face

"Diablo , well if he joins the war the outcome of the battle would definitely change. " Guiche asked but then looked at Rem who was with Louise

"If it's a war, unless their is something that Diablo could get out of this that actually interest him, then he won't fight in a war." Rem

"Would he do it if you asked him nicely again ?" Louise asked with hope

"Absolutely not, and I won't ask him to because he is not a weapon of any government and if you try to force him he would surely crush both countries, and cause a devastation." Rem said

"Is he really that powerful ?" Guiche asked

"He is able to reflect magic somehow." Tabitha stated

"Yes how is he able to do that ?" Kirche asked

"Trust me, this world far weaker than our world, in this world where the only way of attacking him is magic." Rem

"There is more than magic ?" Guiche asked with surprise and doubt

"So much more." Rem

Louise wasn't bitter about Diablo not wanting to help, by now she fully understood that Diablo commoner, familiar, or noble was as much as a person as she was

So Louise decided she would fight alone, she went and prostrated to Henrietta

"Princess Henrietta, I will fight with you please have me."

"Yes, thank you Louise Francoise." Princess Henrietta

"Are you crazy !" Rem shouted

"Rem, I can do this...I have too." Louise said With determination, yet sadness in her eyes

"You'll die."Rem said with worry

Princess Henrietta spoke up

"Excuse me but who are you ?" Henrietta said with a look of disapproval

"A good friend of Louise." Rem said

"Okay I was actually asking for your name if it was too hard for you to understand." Henrietta

"Oh I understand it's you who didn't understand, I said I'm a good friend of Louise, meaning your simply "a friend of Louise"." Rem said matter of factly

"What do you mean ?" Henrietta said

"You are Louise's childhood friend right ?" Rem

"Yes, of course, I'm sure Louise told you all about me." Henrietta said with false confidence

"Then tell me, what good friend or even a good commander would allow someone who can't even defend herself on the battlefield ?" Rem said

"Rem !" Louise said with pink cheeks

"We need all the help we can get, and I won't have you speaking out against the war effort !" Henrietta said with a bead of sweat rolling down her forehead

"I'm not speaking out against the war effort, I don't care what war you go through I just can't help but wonder why exactly you have a defenseless person with you to drag you down." Rem

"I already told you that-" Henrietta was cut off by Rem

"I think it's just you want someone to go down with you so if you die you don't have to be alone." Rem said

"That is...." Henrietta's voice trailed off and she thanked the heavens that the attendees couldn't hear the conversation

"It's okay Rem, I'm going through with this." Louise said

"Thanks to you and Diablo I no longer feel the need to prove myself or my worth to anyone, I'm doing this because I'm proud of my background." Louise said with eyes burning with determination

"Are you sure ?" Rem

"Yes ! " Louise

The two smiled at each other and left

Scene Change The next day

"They dare to refuse my kindness....Crush them." said the new king of Reconquista on his air ship

The ship would invade Tomp in only a few minutes

Elsewhere, word of Reconquista's fast movement had already reached the school and Rem was there

She new they would invade, but it was said they had at least one more day, and Siesta was in Tomp, and Tiffa's home isn't very far from there "Oh my god !" Rem said as she sneaks to a hiding spot

She used the communication device she borrowed from Tiffa and called Diablo

Elsewhere after the phone call

Diablo had told Rem to grab Shera and Tiffa and head to the battle field, not to fight, but in a world with the only effective attack is magic the most safest place to be is obviously with the guy who could reflect all magic

Diablo immediately flew off

Diablo's worries amplified each passing second

Diablo made a promise to face his feelings no matter what the situation when he accepted being Diablo and now his feelings told him

"You should kiss her when you save her.* Derflinger

"What...Where did that come from." Diablo said flustered, completely undemon lord like

"Hehehe tell me your married to your wives, but have you kissed them, it's no secret that the two new girls want to marry you and that short cat girl doesn't have a problem with it...go for it !" Derflinger

"Shut you tool." Diablo said trying to stop his cheeks from burning

Meanwhile at the battlefield, the shops were in the sky and Siesta was helping to evacuate the villagers

Children were screaming and the villagers were terrified

A large fireball was right on Siesta and a child, but she stealthily used wind magic to get out of the way.

Siesta has to make sure she doesn't get caught using magic until she's strong enough

Princess Henrietta, Louise and the rest of the army had shown up

Albion's Dragon knights got into the air

"Griffon legion go meet the enemy in the sky." Princess Henrietta ordered the Griffon legion, and they did

Also Albion's soldiers started firing fireballs from the ships

Tristain's ground unit would block the fire balls , but in the sky the dragon unit overwhelmed the griffons and picked them all off from the sky

The eclipse was starting, and things looked bleak. (A/N sorry, I couldn't help myself, it was right there ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) )

Just as all hope looked lost three groups arrived Diablo, and Kirche and Tabitha, lastly Rem, Shera and Tiffa, but they went unnoticed

It seemed like Diablo just suddenly appeared in the middle of the sky

"Get to the ground." He beckoned to Kirche and Tabitha

"LIGHT BULLETS" Diablo called out and aimed the tip of Derflinger at the small dragons shooting all of them down

"Is he using lightning magic." People all over the battlefield

"Dispatch them as they land !" Henrietta ordered

The dragons died but the soldiers landed on the ground safely using magic, but we're quickly took care of

"Looks like it's time to get to work Fouqet." Wardes said grimly limping off

"WHO DARES ATTACK THE VILLAGE OF THIS DEMON KING !" Diablo said in a booking voice

"WHAT !? This is just some trash village !" Reconquista King

Louise borrowed Slyphe the dragon from Tabitha

"Trash...." Diablo's voice trailed off

"The only one who decides what and what isn't trash you plebian." Diablo

"Fire at that crossdresser !" King Albion

The Albion military all fired magic at Diablo, only for those spells to be reflected

One by one ships fell down

Until Wardes and Fouqet showed up in the air, Wardes on his Gray Griffon, and Fouqet using wind magic

" It's no use all magic will be reflected." Wardes announced

"Diablo why don't you join us." Fouqet said seductively

"Wouldn't you like a fitting woman to add to your collection.....a human woman." Fouqet asked

Diablo steeled his heart and looked down at Siesta

"I already have a human woman." Diablo

Diablo's sword begins to flow and transforms from a rusty blade to a shining sword with better reflection than a mirror

"That's it partner you've finally acknowledged your own feelings !" Derflinger Exclaimed

"Diablo let's get them....together !" Louise

"The hell are you doing, I don't need help " Diablo says

Wardes and Fouqet takes this chance to attack the two, they both aim for Louise and Sylphe to create weakness for Diablo

But Diablo grabs Louise and tell Slyphe to land

Diablo can't land or else the people on the ground might take collateral damage, he also can't use heavy magic so he has to keep using small scale magic

Fouqet and Wardes know that they can't hurt him unless they get close enough

to use weapons

Diablo let's Wardes get in close range, and Wardes flies past and sideswipes Diablo's face with his prod-sword

Diablo feels a burning sensation and for half a minute Diablo couldn't move

"POISON" Diablo says

"DIABLO!" Shera screams

"What !? That poison could instantly weaken a dragon for five minutes !" Wardes says while charging at Diablo again

While the four are playing sky tag Louise says to Diablo

"Why can't you just take help !" Louise

"I don't need any, when I fight I fight alone, I let my wives sit on the side line, U can handle these two on my own." Diablo said

"What if they poison you !" Louise says while lowering her head while Diablo dives down

"Fouqet go for his wives, and that woman !" Wardes shouts

"With pleasure !" Fouqet says while dropping down to Rem, Shera, and Tiff

Diablo follows buy is cut off by Wardes

"Diablo we can handle her just trust in Louise." Rem

" Yeah we're way stronger than her." Shera says puffing her plump chest out

" Don't forget about us. " Says Kirche riding Slyphe with Tabitha

"I'm okay, I'm more than enough to deal with this." Diablo

" We know darling, but I also would like to win the affection you have for the cat ear girl, elf and maid

( Dammit I really don't need help, I got this ! )

Diablo thinks in his head

"...Go attack the ships." Diablo says sighing

"Yessir." Kirche says and starts attacking the twenty left shields

"You...do what you want." Diablo says looking at Louise

"You actually trust me enough to help ?" Louise asks with a questioning face

"Whatever....your not completely useless...( sigh ) Your not a zero." Diablo says staring at Wardes who's still in front of him

"Truly touching." Wardes says with a false confident smile, truth is he isn't healed and no longer walks right thanks to Diablo

Meanwhile Diablo's sign in his hand is glowing, much brighter than when he usually holds Derflinger

He glanced at Louise who is in his left arm, and she has this far away look in her eyes

"That's it Partner, you got her to acknowledge herself, her powers as a void mage is sure to unlock !" Derflinger said with excitement

"Oi you mean this person has a future as a mage ? Who would have known ? " Diablo

"I did partner and you should get her away before she uses her spell or else you might reflect it." Derflinger

( Where could I bout her magic is unpredictable. ) Diablo thinks to himself

He sees the ship with the Reconquista King and calls to Tabitha and Kirche

Meanwhile on the ground ( Or at least part of while all that was happening)

Fouqet landed on the ground and made her signature two story golem

"You just don't learn do you ?" Rem asked with a bored expression

"I'm more than enough to deal with you hahaha" Fouqet

"Shera" Rem

"Yeah !" Shera says and puts three arrows into her bow, then shoots

" Explosion"

The arrow explodes upon contact with the golems head, chest, and abdomen blowing the golem into pieces and blasting Fouqet forward

She landed face first and then slid to Rem's foot

Rem grabs her leg, lifts her up and starts swinging her around

after three swings Rem tosses her to the other side of the field

"AAAAAAAHHHHHHH"

Back in the skies

Tabitha and Kirche just put Louise down who still had a far away look in her eyes, they also backed away, per Diablo's warnings

Louise started glowing white, the king of Albion knew was about to happen so he jumped ship

A sphere of white light came from Louise's body, and grew bigger and bigger and bigger until all the ships were inside of the sphere and exploded

Wardes and Diablo was just outside of the blast zone

"DIE MONSTER !" Wardes charged at Diablo

"Partner he's going to side swipe !" Derflinger

"I know." Diablo

( He's too close to dodge and if I come in contact with that void magic, who knows where it will reflect to. )

"pierce" Diablo points his finger at Wardes chest, and pierces it with ki

Wardes eyes bulged and he screamee, then he falls into the blast

( Damn ) Diablo thinks

"Partner don't worry about that now." Derflinger

"Of course" Diablo respond

On the ground

Kirche and Tabitha are struggling against the king of Reconquista's ring

Louise is unconscious on the ground

"No one can win against the ring of Aanvari."

He says

WHACK

"Fouqet escaped to the skies, but who is he ?" Guiche asks after hitting him in the head with a stick

Elsewhere Diablo landed by Siesta and grabbed her and flew over to Rem, Shera, and Tiff

"Rem, Shera, Tiff, and Siesta...." Diablo says secretly gathering courage

"Yes?" They say surprised

Diablo grabbed each of them up and kissed them just like Derflinger advised

First Rem, then Shera, next Tiffa and finally Siesta

They all had rosy shocked faces but starting from Rem

"I love you too Diablo..." Rem says with a cute blushing face

"My body is bigger than hers so I can hold way more love than Rem so I love you more Diablo." Shera

"My body is equal to yours Shera, so I love Diablo just a s much." Shera said competitively

"Shut up ! Body size has nothing to do with this !" Rem said with a pout

Siesta was holding onto Diablo's chest, she looked up at him and took another kiss

"What !? Do you know how long we had to wait on that kiss, don't be greedy !" Rem

( Is Rem getting jealous ?) Diablo thought to himself during the kiss

"I love you too." Siesta said smiling at Diablo
