Chapter 12 Summer time interlude part 2
(A/N I know it is annoying to keep switching POV's in each chapter but unfortunately not only is this how canon works but each POV is connected to the main story line so this is actually necessary)
(A/N once again this chapter is only a build up for our following arc, so if you're looking for action in this chapter please just skip)
----------------Third Person's POV---------------------
Montmorency prepared two glasses of whine, and for her guest's glass she mixed in a potion, Guiche appears in view and approaches the table
"I'm glad you came at my request today Guiche." Montmorency
" Of course, how could I resist the summons
of a lady so beautiful." Guiche said and then
continued with " I bet the bright sun and two
moons would gain jealousy of your beauty."
At that Montmorency blushed at the flattery and said " I bet you say that to all of the girls."
" Of course not." Guiche while leaning in going
for a kiss
"Wait, your moving to fast, do't you think it would be better to start with a simple toast." Montmorency
"Oh Montmorency, sure" Guiche
At the same timer while in deep thought Louise walked to the table
" Hey Guiche I need a quick word with Montmorency could you give us a few minutes to talk please ?" Louise
"Ummmmm....well" Guiche
" Okay, thanks." Louise
Motmorency did not want this too happen, but she thought she would quickly rush Louise off
"What is it ?" Montmorency
"I need help making my familiar closer, and more obedient to me, do you know of anyways ?" Louise
" You mean that horned guy ? Well no none in particular." Montmorecy said hoping Louise wouldn't try drinking from the glass
" Hmph, there has to be an way, I mean why isn't Diablo obedient he is my familiar." Louise said while picking up the glass about to drink it
"Wait no !" Montmorency shouted
"Huh, what ?" Louise
"Ugh, nothing." Montmorency said with a nervous smile
Louise drank the whine and left
------------------------Elsewhere--------------------
While riding the carriage Kirche sees what she believes to be the Galia royal sign
"Is that what I thought it was ?" Kirche says out loud, leaning out of the window she looks back at the backside of the sign to see the
"Tabitha are you royalty ?" Kirche
"Hn" Tabitha responded while reading a book
A few minutes later the carriage arrive at the estate
A well dressed servant came " Hello, lady Charlotte, it is great to see you back." the servant said to Tabitha
Tabitha only nodded
"And you must be Tabitha's friend that I have heard of, my name is William." Said the servant named "William" while bowing his head
" My name is Kirche Zerbst of Germania, it's a pleasure to meet you." Kirche
--------------------Inside the Manor-----------------------
Tabitha and Kirche refreshed themselves with beverages, afterward Tabitha got up and nodded and went down the hall
Once she left Kirche said to William "You called her Charlotte before I never knew that what she was called here in her homeland, is Tabitha her nickname ?"
" She calls herself Tabitha ? It may have something to do with her doll Tabitha." William said wearing a sad expression
"Doll ?" Kirche
" Yes, since Lady Charlotte has trusted you enough to bring you here in the first place, I will tell you truth of Lady Charlotte's life." William said
Motioning to a picture of a blue haired man on the wall he says "That was Lady Charlotte's father the king of Gallia."
-------------Meanwhile in Diablo's POV-----------------
(Is her grandfather from Earth) I thought to myself
"Alright Diablo I have to go and finish my work for tonight." she said suddenly standing up
I diverted my eyes and said "Oh...yes of course"
I got out of the tub as soon as she was out of sight and dressed and afterward I seen Louise from the distance running away into the school dorms
-------------------------Kirche's POV---------------
The butler named William just showed me the man who was Tabitha's or Charlotte's father was a king
"What happened to him ?" I ask
"He was betrayed by some of his older brother the current king. Yes, even though his brother was the eldest Charlotte's father was a much more talented ruler, and had much charisma, so he was picked to be crowned. " William
"As for the doll that doll was one the few gifts her father gave her that she was
allowed to keep. It was at a dinner party when Tabitha was given a glass of water by
a noble, but Tabitha's mother quickly realized that the water was poisoned with
water magic, and drank it herself. The poison was a one that turned the target
insane, that traitorous noble was apprehended." William
"Oh my god, Tabitha never told me of all the things she was going through." Kirche said
(A/N I don't know why Tabitha's mom just didn't pour it out and call it an accident, or simply hold the glass until the noble walked away if you seen the scene in the anime, or better yet why she didn't make the noble drink it and call it a test of trust, but I think the reason is because of "Anime Logic")
"That's not all, even though the assassination attempts have stopped the king sends her dangerous
missions to "prove herself" that is the reason why she had to study abroad in
another country, she once was even given the task of slaying a three headed
dragon, but like always she completed the mission without fail. Lady Charlotte has had to grow strong in order to protect herself and her mother." William
"Even now she has been summoned for a mission." William said while handing Kirche the scroll containing the details of the mission
"So that's the real reason she came back." Kirche
--------------------Down the hall-----------------------
Tabitha knocked on a door, no one answered so she opened the door and went in
A malnutritious looking woman with blue hair, sunken in cheeks, and holding a doll
"Mother I have returned." Tabitha says while down on one knee bowing her head
"Who are you !? Have you finally come to finish me off or are you here to harm my little girl !?" Tabitha's mom exclaims while motioning the doll when she talks about her "daughter", and continued with
" It's bad enough you've already sent asassins after us, I can't believe this little girl is going to have to rule this nation one day, that's why I keep her right here in my hands."
Tabitha went back to the dining room where Kirche was, Kirche waved the scroll in front of Tabitha with a pout on her face, Tabitha tried to grab the scroll away from Kirche, but Kirche would not let Tabitha have it
"No I'm going to help you. I'm not going to let my best friend do something this dangerous alone." Kirche
Tabitha smiled and nodded at that
