Meeting The Team: An Unbearable Woman Appears

Thane held onto her hand tighter. "That's all I needed to hear." He muttered softly only to her hearing. He looked over his shoulder at Gilbert and announced, "Assemble my team, tell them we have an urgent project to begin."

Urgent project? Brooke wondered what it could be?

As if reading her thoughts, Thane announced with a reckless grin, "We're going to make you a leg."

Brooke at the time was too overwhelmed at the time to understand what he meant, but the next day, when Thane's team had flown into the country, did she understand that he meant a prosthetic leg.
