Alone On The Wedding Night
After disclosing most of the family dynamic to Brooke, Matthew expected her to back out of her relationship with his brother and return home.
"You see why you can't stay? Thane has remained infallible because he was always very guarded and had no weakness, but with you here, he's vulnerable. If you want the best for him, you'll stay away." He told her as he took out his phone from his pocket.
"I'll have a flight arranged-" his words were cut off by Brooke's interjection.
"I'm not leaving him, Matthew."
Matthew groaned, "Did you not understand a word of what I just said?"
"I do understand, and I know that leaving would be the right choice to make-"
"Then why don't you make it? Why would you choose to stay despite knowing you're placing him at a disadvantage?" He demanded harshly.
