A Reminder Of Her Reality
Ethan angrily stormed into the house, and began to shout, startling the maids who had come out to receive him. Serena had made a feast to congratulate him for getting out of prison, but Ethan did not seem the least bit pleased.
"Where is she?! Where is Cassie?!" He demanded in a loud voice, rolling up his sleeves.
"Ethan, she's been in a bad mood all day, she's resting-" Serena was saying, but Ethan walked past her towards the staircase, his steps heavy against the floor.
Serena could sense something was amiss and followed, calling her husband, her heart beating a hundred times a minute.
"Cassie!" Ethan tried opening her bedroom door, but she had locked it from inside. "Fucking come out here!"
"Ethan, what is wrong?" Serena gently tried to touch his arm, but he shoved her aside and continued to bang angrily on the door.
