Blood was thicker than water.
Clear drops of water splashed about as the devil leaned closer. Dy took the small human in his mouth and dived down to dodge the bullets from ten more of Richard’s men. It felt like something nudged my skin, but not even one silver bullet had entered my body. The water had more resistance, so those bullets were just the light touch of an insect.
The dented fin knifed through the saltwater and hit the ship to keep it from stopping. The stern was smashed. The ship spun in the opposite direction as a result of Dylan’s loyalty in striking the middle of the ship.
Thud!
“Argh!” The hysterical screams rang out as the wooden hull was broken by his sharp teeth. Dylan opened his mouth, devouring every life that fell into the water due to the hit, while Dy swam back and took the human in his mouth far away. However, his black eyes still gave a sense of reproach…
…that floated along with the waves as an order for his younger brother to execute.
‘Kill them.’
