Is this Hope

A Few days have passed since I entered this house. I have lightened up. became somewhat careless I guess. I always thought that this place is done for, no humanity remain here now but I was wrong and I always hoped that I would be wrong and I am glad for that.

I talked about there past experiences, there life, how they are holding it. Even in this situation staying together and strong. It became more of a home feeling.

"So Ned how was it like before this all started?" asked Davis.

"Nothing much. Living normal life with Ted. Our life was not interesting at all." Ned replied.

"Yeah, we were just by ourselves all the time. Both teasing each other. Stand for each other." said Ted.

"That means you support each other even in hard times." said Davis.

"How was your life?" asked Ned.

"It would have like how a lonely man lives his life but I found these two friends who changed my thinking. They always stand for me and it...it was a great life. *tears start flowing*" replied Davis.

"Don't think too much about it now." said Ted.

"Yeah now we are together you know." said Ned.

"Thanks guys." replied Davis.

I know that people are dying outside and trying to survive still I was not that bothered about it. I was having safe feeling among these guys.

This feeling was like when I person is settled in his life and achieved something that they wanted.

I was starting to remember how it was before any of this ever happened. How we all always enjoyed our life, teasing each other, getting angry over small things. But this time I was not crying. I accepted it all and now the only thing is not to do things that I might regret later.

"What are you doing here alone?" Emilia asked.

"Nothing just thinking about my life before all this." Davis replied.

"Yeah, I think about that sometimes too, you know and it was like...never mind." said Emilia.

*Davis Smiles*

"Did I just see you smiling. Oh My God, can I take a picture of this." said Emilia.

"Could you just stop that. I can smile because I am human too, you know." Davis replied.

"Never thought much about it. So what are you thinking that made you smile." Emilia asked.

"It's nothing ."

"Just tell already. Because there is a thing in existence that could make you smile." said Emilia.

"Would you stop teasing me like that, these are just the emotions that I couldn't able express before meeting you all." said Davis.

"Whoa, that was deep you know. Just tell me, this suspense is killing me." Emilia asked.

"If this all had not happened then...then today would have been my birthday." said Davis.

"Well, that's great..." said Emilia.

"Really!!!" asked both Ned and Ted.

"What are you two doing here? I have told to watch over." said Emilia.

"Not like we are interrupting you too." Ned replied.

"Yeah, like how a sweet couple talking to each other getting all cosy and lovey-dov..." said Ted.

*Emilia shuts Teds mouth.*

*Davis laughs*

"There is no need to do anything you guys." said Davis.

"Not happening. We are going to prepare something and giving you two the time of your life." both Ned and Ted said with a scheming smile.

"Never mind that. They are just teasing you." said Emilia.

"Half of it was true tough. I felt good talking to you. You were a person with whom I could share anything." said Davis.

"Nah. Its nothing much." Emilia replied *embarrassingly*.

"You should think like it is your superpower. Your relic might heal any physical wounds but your personality can heal a person emotionally. And that is a great thing to have." said Davis.

"Now you are going too far. Now let's just go down with others and celebrate." said Emilia.

It has been several days with these guys we talked to each other and made a bond, shared our happy moments and sorrows. It felt like we could make it to the end like this but...but life is unfair to everyone.

After that celebration we were all in relax mode. Not giving any attention to our surroundings. But my gut feeling was saying that someone is watching us, watching us from close distance. Like something is in here.

At that moment a blade goes right through my right arm. I barely avoided it but Emilia immediately healed me.

Someone is here that we can't see. It can be a relic user so keep your eyes and ears open. My gut feeling never let me down. Pick your weapon and be ready.

I thought there was still hope.
