Ash waited before he left. Sarah first cleaned the floor, and Ash was glad he decided to stay to watch the scene. He had killed Gorin but what if he met another devil was he actually going to participate in this competition or whatever, should he? Or had he already thrown his name in when he killed Gorin? Gorin wasn't that strong but there are other devils and some of them had to be much stronger than him, who was he kidding of course there had to be.

He was a relatively new devil; he had to think of something to make sure he wasn't ambushed by someone and lost everything he had gained.

Ash put the thoughts away for now, he'll ask Willow for more information since she must know more about these things. Now he had a nice dinner to look forward to.

Ash found the dinner placed on the dining table this time, Sarah had finally shown her cooking skills he remembered from the orphanage, she had outdone herself. Ash sat down and noticed her standing, waiting on him.

"Aren't you going to eat?" he asked her.

"So do you work anywhere now? Since you were wearing office clothes before" he asked.

"Yes, I work at a guild, in the reception actually" she said.

Ash felt the disappointment in her voice, to become a field player you had to be at least level 40 and then you can start going into dungeons and killing monsters and collecting materials. You get rich as well as increase your level. That's what the different guilds advertised, but the reality was obviously a little grayer than that. It was a game of survival, the real enemies were beside you rather than in front, it's the nature of humans, they wanted to get at the top and pull the other back even more. Real life is much different than a book.

"Where did you go while I went to go get my stuff master?" Sarah asked.

Ash then told her about his little journey across the realms. She listened aptly, her eyes growing big.

"You went to another world, like really another world; how were the people there, what did they look like?" Ash answered her questions as best as he could.

"Will you take me there?" she asked in the end, the fantasy lover inside her excited at the prospect of going to another world.

"Sure let me just check if it is safe first," said Ash.

After they were done eating, it was time to go to bed which brought along another bunch of questions. Ash knew it would be best to take things slow, so he told her to keep being nude and wake him up tomorrow, get the breakfast ready, and clean around the house.

He woke up the next day, expecting things to go just like the last night but it was far from the reality. He didn't see Sarah waking him up as he had ordered so he went outside preparing to punish her. But the door of his apartment was hanging by the corner, and Sarah was nowhere to be found. He repaired the door with his magic and went down to the ground floor; he had no idea who had taken her; the games master was a cosmic being, they understood the system rules and would never break them, but no one else would dare to mess with him, the devil. If the game master had himself come into the apartment he would have felt him before he was a mile near him. He then remembered that she was connected to him, so he opened his screen and went to her stats, and there it was, her location; he clicks it and saw a map open up, and a dot appeared on it, it was moving at a fast speed. She was most probably in a car, Ash gauged the direction and distance and jumped in the air, and propelled himself forward with air bursts that he fired from his legs like a jet. It was a skill he had bought a while ago and invested a lot of coins in to upgrade it, it wasn't the most practical bit he liked using it because once you get better at it you can take very sharp turns and very high speeds. Ash also liked using it, it resembled skateboarding, and he could do cool tricks with it. He needed to correct his course quickly as he got used to the location system. He soon caught up to the dot, he looked down there were a lot of cars but where was she, then he concentrated hard on her energy that he remembered from yesterday and he felt her a little ahead in a black car. He had found her, he burst up one last time and landed on the hood of the car with a heavy thud; the car skidded with the impact the driver pulled the brakes and the car skidded onto the side road. The doors opened under him and four men, dressed in suits came out. They looked up to see what had landed on their car, expecting a rock or something. Ash was sure from their looks that they were just followers, so he didn't waste much time on them. They were all around level 45, and their weak attacks didn't do anything to him. They crumpled against his punches like rag dolls. After a quick battle that lasted for about ten seconds, he looked inside the car for Sarah. She was in the backseat, her mouth covered up and her hands tied and still naked. Ash threw his jacket over her and took her back to the apartment.

"Are you all right?" he asked her once they were safe inside.

"Yeah, I am fine, they came so suddenly I didn't have time to do anything," she said.

"Did you recognize them?" he asked.

"Yeah I think they were that game master's men," she said.

"Hmm, looks like we need to teach him a lesson," said Ash, anger rising in him.

"We?" she asked.

"Yes, you will kill him and then take over all his belongings. I am sure you can level up at least twenty by killing him, even if I'll assist you," he said, explaining to her. Assisted killings could be a way to improve one's level without doing much but the system was smart and didn't allow the same points.
