Micheal unlocked the fire, Stanley quickly stopped him, "Don't hurt the innocent" He said to him and released Love from his captive.

Love quickly ran into the crowd without looking back.

"Richard Bush, What exactly do you want?" Military Governor Albert asked.

"Military Governor Albert, as long as you and Military Governor Pepe published an open telegram to the nation, acknowledging my regulatory power over Los Angeles, I'll let you guys out of the city right away" Richard replied.

"You're not in a position to negotiate terms with me. I just won't publish the open telegram, what can you do to me?" Military Governor Albert replied.

"The life of everyone present is more valuable than mine. But if I open the door of Los Angeles to the revolutionary army, won't the higher up military Governor and garrison commander be wiped out in one fell swoop?" Richard smiled like what he said is not scary enough.

"You're threatening me"

"How can I negotiate terms without Any bargaining chips? Military Governor Albert, either you set your mind on being the commander-in-chief of the coalition force and leave Los Angeles under my care or I'll shift my allegiance to the revolutionary army, Make your choice" Richard replied.

"Marshal Richard, you want nothing but the regulatory power over Los Angeles, you don't have to make things ugly" Bremo told him.

"Tell me more," Richard smiled at him.

Even though he is smiling, he is like a fox who lures his prey with a smile.

" Marshal Richard, actually I have a lot of sympathy for you.The bush army got its designation revoked a decade ago, you led a homeless army to wander from place to place. You must have suffered a lot. Why don't you join my Latino army now? My father can recommend you as commander of Los Angeles, what do you think?" Bremo suggested to him.

Richard chuckled, "Scholars like you are very good at artful work indeed, But it doesn't work on me. It is either the same or choice as it was just now, other options are off the table"

Arci saw that situation has come to a dead end, Even though she doesn't love Bremo as lover, he is still her childhood friend which she counts as her brother and besides her mother's funeral urn is still with the shameless man.

She took out a gun and came out of her hiding place, she pointed a gun at his head.

Richard glanced at her and was surprised.

"Arci" Lincoln stepped forward nervously.

This girl is too bold.

"What do you want?" He glanced at her Richard.

"Let Marshal Bremo go or I will shoot you" Arci told Richard.

"Miss Arci, we've met again," Richard smiled.

"Enemies often cross each other's path" Arci replied coldly.

"We were together at the Far East Hotel as a couple this afternoon and yet you are holding me at gunpoint. This really makes me sad" He said pitifully.

"Don't talk nonsense, you obviously kidnapped me," Arci said.

"Are you good with guns? Don't let it go off to hurt yourself" Richard said flirtatiously.

"Knock it off! Where is my mother's funeral urn?" She asked.

"How about this? Ask him to put his gun down, and I'll take you to get your mother's funeral urn" Richard smiled at her seductively.

"Arci don't believe him" Bremo said.

"Choose between your new love and old love, me or him?" Richard said.

Arci's face turned grim.

Lincoln stepped forward.

He walked closer to them.

"Marshal Richard, I don't know what old score Arci has with you but her mother died of illness in Japan years ago, she is fulfilling her mother's wish to be buried in her native soil, so please don't do anything that's disrespectful to the deceased" Lincoln explained to him.

"Mr Lincoln, I don't have the slightest disrespect for your wife and I'm keeping her ashes safe. As soon as the Military Governor Albert publishes the open telegram, I'll present the ashes with both of my hands" Richard said.

Lincoln glanced at Military Governor Albert.

"It's definitely not going to happen unless you do what Bremo said and submit to my command," Military Governor Albert said.

"Publishing an open telegram to the nation is a serious matter. It's not that I don't give you time to think, But Marshal Bremo you will have to go with me, I'll send you back as soon as the open telegram is published" Richard said.

"Wait a minute," Arci said.

She dropped the gun and dropped the Bremo gun also.

"Let him go. I'll go with you" She told him.

"Arci" Bremo said

"Arci, what are you doing?" Lincoln exclaimed.

"Dad, I must go and get my mother's funeral urn," Arci replied.

She glanced at Richard.

"Mr Richard, I'll be your hostage. Don't give my family guest a hard time"

Dawn smiled when she saw this.

"Mom, isn't this girl crazy?" Runa said.

Dawn signaled for her to shut up.

"What a pair desperadoes, show me how you are a better fit than him" Richard said.

"I'm the eldest young miss of the Lincoln family and the daughter in law of Latino family. By taking me away you'll kill two birds with a stone and choke the two families by the throat. Who'd be a better fit than him?" Arci told him.

"The Latino family daughter in law?" Richard asked thoughtfully.

"The Latino family came here to propose marriage, As everybody present has seen just now, it is me who did the opening dance with Mr Bremo"

"Okay, It seems nobody is a better fit than you, Drey took her away," Richard said.

Drey stepped forward to grab her but Bremo held her in his arm protectively, he glared at Richard.
