Multiverse? *pilot chapter

* Pls don't take a shot every time you read the word "theory" 😐*

The smallest thing to ever be theorized to exist were tiny, one dimensional strings of energy, so small that if the smallest atom were the size of our solar system, these same strings would compare to an average tree.

For them to really exist, each has to vibrate in a slightly different vibrational pattern, which in the grand scale allows them to create different things.

I'm just introducing to you the "Super String Theory", and although in our current world the research still hasn't reached anything close to a conclusion, in the DC UNIVERSE it has already been confirmed.

As a matter of fact, physicists around the globe agree that it is not some baseless speculation. It admits the four fundamental forces of nature (electromagnetism/gravitation/weak interaction/strong interaction), it resolves the conflict between Einstein's general theory of relativity and quantum mechanics.

Problem is that this theory needs at least 9 spatial dimensions for the strings to vibrate properly. And as you already guessed, we can only identify 3 spatial dimensions (length/width/depth).

The answer DC gives is that our universe is limited to a space similar to a bubble, that together with other universes/bubbles are inside a bigger bubble that is inside a bigger bubble and so on and on.

This speculation is amazingly consistent with what is called as the "M-Theory" (geez, this humans have nothing better to do than creating theories 🤣). It is basically a revision of "Super Strings Theories" that suggests another dimension and explain the reason we can only perceive three of them is that we are anchored on a membrane.

Imagine it as a bigger and flat version of what we were talking just before. This membrane can exist in any dimension while vibrating at their own frequency with the previously mentioned tiny strings tied down to them.

It means that in theory, our universe could be tied down to a three dimensional membrane that is vibrating through four dimensional space on a four dimensional membrane vibrating through fifth dimensional space on a fifth dimensional membrane and on and on.

Sorry, don't know how to put it in simpler terms. It's just hard to imagine something with more than three spatial dimensions, especially to portray it through words. It's like if my stick picture draw was trying to grasp what is the meaning of depth.

But DC proposes that 52 membrane universes are vibrating at the same space, all at different frequencies within the all-encompassing substance (known as the bleed space).

You do remember that the flash is able to travel between earths by vibrating himself out of one universe and into the other. So taking into consideration everything we talked so far, we could assume that the flash is vibrating so intensely that his "string" are becoming out of synch with the membrane that they're usually attached to, and reattaching themselves to a membrane that better matches their frequency.

If one considers that there really is infinite hyperspace out there and infinite possibility of membrane, then the logical conclusion would be that there really are infinite universes.

Infinite realities, all different, but all equally true.

So let's explore them!
