Meanwhile, after Kayn punched Silas!
Silas was sent crashing through multiple walls, before finally having his momentum halted. He groaned, before his eyes burned into anger at the thought of Kayn attacking him.
He punched his way out of the rubble and immediately clashed with Kayn, the warehouse quaking under the immense excess power unleashed by the clashes between the two.
"Hmm, you're better than expected. Why don't you join us. You'll get to conquer Earth and be a King like us. It's a good deal." Silas said as he felt Kayn's power, his eyes gleaming with the potential implications.
Kayn chuckled, ""Here's the thing about a good deal: It's a sign of weakness, it's showing that you need something, and whatever happens, you'll be that little bit weaker the next time around."
Silas listened to Kayn's words, anger erupting from his eyes, "Fine, THEN DIE!"
~BOOM~
Another massive explosion of energy occurred as they clashed, the warehouse quaking under the immense power unleashed by Kayn and Silas as they clashed in a battle that would determine the fate of many.
The dark energy that Silas wielded powerful, with every strike from Silas reverberated through the air, sending shockwaves that threatened to tear the building apart.
Silas roared, the sound primal and filled with rage, as he unleashed a barrage of dark energy bolts at Kayn. The bolts crackled through the air, their paths erratic, as if guided by some sinister will intended to dodge Kayn's senses.
However, he dodged the first few with relative ease, his movements a completely blur, but as the numbers piled on, he activated a force-field to protect himself, deflecting the bolts harmlessly into the walls, where they exploded with bursts of dark light.
"You think your tricks can save you?" Silas taunted, his voice a growl as he advanced on Kayn. "I've faced your kind before, heroes who thought they could stand against the darkness. They all fell, just as you will."
"Ya ya ya, all talk no game." Kayn taunted, grasping at the open opportunity and meeting Silas head on, their fists colliding in a shockwave that rocked the environment.
The ground beneath them cracked and splintered, unable to withstand the force of their clash.
Silas's eyes blazed with fury as he summoned a massive blade of dark energy, the weapon humming with malevolent power. He swung it at Kayn, the blade slicing through the air with a sound like tearing fabric.
Yet Kayn just grabbed the blade, as if it were a toy, and snapped it into pieces, making Silas eye widen in shock. Then Kayn went on the offensive, telekinetically grabbing debris and sending them hurling towards Silas.
Silas dodged, yet Kayn mixed in Magic Attacks in between as well, capitalizing in any moment of weakness Silas showed, his strikes becoming more precise, more targeted. Each blow landed with pinpoint accuracy, chipping away at Silas's strength, his confidence.
Silas roared in frustration, his rage boiling over as he unleashed a wave of dark energy that towards Kayn, trying to ward him off, yet Kayn simply took forceful control of the dark energy, redirecting it to Silas and sending him crashing through more walls.
Silas crashed into a pile of debris, the impact momentarily dazing him. Kayn wasted no time, charging forward with an energy blade raised for the killing blow.
But Silas was ready. As Kayn brought his blade down, Silas rolled to the side, narrowly avoiding the strike. The blade buried itself in the ground, creating a deep fissure that split the concrete floor.
Silas sprang to his feet, his hands glowing with energy as he summoned a barrage of energy bolts of his own, sending them hurtling toward Kayn.
Kayn chuckled as he deflected the bolts with his blade, finding a spot of weakness and moving like a blur. With a swift, brutal motion, he grabbed Silas by the collar, lifting him effortlessly off the ground.
Silas struggled, dark energy crackling around him, but Kayn's grip was unyielding.
"You think you're powerful?" Kayn growled, his voice low and menacing. "Let me show you what real power feels like."
With a mighty heave, Kayn launched Silas into the air, sending him hurtling upwards. The force of the throw propelled him higher and higher, his body a dark silhouette against the night sky.
As Silas ascended, Kayn leaped after him, each punch connecting with brutal precision, driving Silas further into the sky with every strike.
The higher they went, the more Kayn could feel the power of the stars flooding into him, their cosmic energy invigorating his every move. His fists glowed with an ethereal light as he pummeled Silas, the impact of each blow reverberating through the night.
Silas, now bloodied and battered, could do little but endure the relentless assault. He tried to summon his dark magic, but Kayn's relentless attack gave him no chance to retaliate.
Then, with a final, powerful burst of energy, Kayn stopped mid-air, his eyes blazing with determination. He gathered the cosmic power around him, channeling it into a small, brilliantly glowing orb in his hand, a miniature star, burning with the heat and intensity of a thousand suns.
"This is the end for you, Silas," Kayn said coldly, and with that, he slammed the miniature star into Silas's chest.
The explosion of light was blinding, the heat searing as the star's energy consumed Silas. He let out a scream of agony as his body was engulfed in flames, the star burning through his flesh and soul.
The force of the impact sent Silas hurtling back down to the earth like a comet, trailing fire and smoke. He crashed into the warehouse district below with the force of a meteor, the explosion annihilating the structures in a massive shockwave.
The ground shook, the sky lit up with the destructive power of the star, and when the dust finally settled, all that remained were the charred ruins of the warehouses.
Kayn descended slowly, landing amidst the wreckage, his expression grim as he surveyed the destruction.
Silas was on the floor, his body almost incinerated, slowly healing but it was extremely slow. Kayn slowly floated down and landed in front of Silas, "I admit, I underestimated you bastard." Silas said, coughing up blood.
"Happens a lot, you villains are all useless and arrogant." Kayn said as he landed in front of Silas, pressing his boot on his chest, almost crushing his heart.
As Kayn was doing this, Violet finally approached, her eyes filled with concern as she surveyed the destructive environment and saw the scene ahead of her, "Harbinger, you okay?"
Kayn nodded, keeping his attention squarely on Silas, "I'm fine," he replied, his voice steady, "But this guy isn't."
Violet nodded in agreement, her gaze shifting to the ORION soldiers, who were beginning to drop their weapons, their will to fight shattered, and Silas crushed underneath Kayn's boot, powerless.
"STILL!" Kayn muttered.
In an instant, a powerful wave of energy erupted from Kayn's body, rippling through the air and crashing into Silas with an unstoppable force. The dark energy around Silas flickered, then shattered like glass, as Kayn's energy tore through the corrupting power that had fueled him.
The connection was severed, annihilating the dark magic that had given Silas his strength. Silas staggered, his eyes wide with disbelief as he felt the power draining from his body. "No!" he screamed, his voice filled with rage and desperation.
He clawed at the air, trying to summon the dark energy that had always been at his command, but it was gone, wiped out by Kayn's sheer force of will.
Furious, Silas glared at Kayn, his once-mighty presence now a mere shadow of its former self, "You... you have no idea what you've done!" he snarled, his voice trembling with anger, but the power behind his words was gone.
Kayn simply watched, chuckling at his powerlessness.
As they waited, the familiar hum of DEO vehicles filled the night sky. Within moments, several sleek, black vehicles touched down around the area, and a team of heavily armed agents disembarked, led by John Jones. His calm, authoritative presence was a welcome sight amidst the chaos.
"Harbinger, Spectra," John greeted them, his voice steady. His eyes quickly scanned the scene, taking in the defeated ORION soldiers and Silas. "You did well. The city owes you another debt."
Kayn nodded, his expression unreadable as John continued to speak, "Silas and the ORION soldiers are to be taken to the AEGIS prison. We need to extract every bit of information from them before ORION can regroup. We'll handle the interrogation, ensure they know this is just the beginning."
The DEO agents moved in, swiftly securing Silas and the remaining ORION soldiers. The prisoners were loaded into the waiting aircraft, their fates now sealed under AEGIS's watchful eye.
As the last of the enemies were taken away, Kayn and Violet began moving back to their home, their work for the day done!
