The Ancient One shook her head, indicating that she too wasn't sure, before analysing, "I felt rage in that power, it seemed like Nal was provoked."
"Provoked? Who could provoke him?"
The Ancient One shook her head again, but then fell into sudden reverie, murmuring to herself, "The power surge was rather sudden, even you and I almost got injured. Then what about those weak demons..."
The Ancient One and Odin exchanged a look. They both understood each other's thoughts.
In their original plan, they drew water from an open pipe. The water pressure was not low and when it sprayed out, it held some impact. However, given their powerful strength, they had no trouble dealing with this impact.
Now, the situation had changed. This process evolved from drawing water from an open pipe to facing a flood discharge like from the Three Gorges Dam. Nal, in his rage, was recklessly outputting power, causing extremely high pressure inside the pipe. Therefore, the force spraying out of those holes bore an unparalleled massive impact.
Setorak was as steady as Mount Tai. This degree of impact was trivial to his Crimson Dimension. Dormammu felt a bit uncomfortable, but he has never been picky, and still managed to withstand it. Mephisto was taken aback initially but quickly adjusted and accepted everything that came his way.
This was the case for most powerful demons. Although the incoming power was becoming increasingly chaotic and frenzied, they only felt the impact. Even if they couldn't digest it immediately, they could store it inside their own dimensions for slow decomposition.
However, the scenario was quite different for the weaker demon gods.
It is a well-known fact that the water jet is an extremely destructive tool. Similar to the interception of the chaotic power, the water gushed out under high pressure had great destructive power.
The greedy nature of the demon gods led them to dig larger holes without considering any safety regulations during the process.
When the raging power erupted under great pressure, many minor demons were caught off guard and had no means to defend themselves. They were directly swallowed by this raging power and died on the spot.
At this point, the experienced Ancient One and Odin immediately guessed the situation on the field.
Did the equipment explode? Then what are you waiting for? Let's loot the corpses!
The Ancient One was thrilled. A group of minor demons just downstream had died in a wave of water. But this wasn't just a death wave, she didn't even have to kill them herself. Not only did the minor demons lose their own power, the chaos power they had previously absorbed also remained, all benefitting the Ancient One.
Compared to the Dimensional Demon God, these already digested powers were more suitable for a human like the Ancient One.
The crazy power that Nal was transmitting was the Chaos Power from the cosmos itself. Many demon god's life levels simply could not reach this level. In the first wave of impact, apart from those who died, there were many others severely injured. The Ancient One and Odin immediately made up for the rest.
An investor? Not familiar at all!
All of the power from any Cosmic Sorcerer was a great supplement. Even in the past, it was still one to two at a time. However, this time, the Cosmic Sorcerers were lying all over the ground and in a short time, the Ancient One was overwhelmed.
No problem. The Ancient One was already quite used to this task. Once her own accumulated energy reached its limit, she began to transfer the remaining energy to Doctor Strange. It was like an eagle that had caught a huge prey and after eating its fill, was now feeding meat to its chick.
At this moment, Loki, who was still in the Fairy Palace, watched as Doctor Strange's body flashed light and emitted fire. All sorts of pure magic energy and power were infused into his body. In just a few minutes, Doctor Strange almost ascended in broad daylight.
In such a short period, the energy surging in his body was even stronger than Loki, who possessed a God position.
Loki was green with envy. Before he could extend a fake congratulation to Doctor Strange, a beam of golden light descended from the sky, knocking Loki off his feet.
"Father..." Loki was just about to say something, when another beam of golden light poured pure energy into his body. Loki shouted joyfully, "Father of All Gods! You…"
Before he could finish, another golden beam followed. Subsequently, Loki and Doctor Strange were flooded with pure and powerful energy in a flurry, as if they were in a competition.
The Ancient One and Odin were squabbling like old eagles over frontline looting, while Strange and Loki, looking like fledglings, were consuming their share of the spoils back in the rear.
Originally, the maximum potential of Odin, being somewhat divine, considerably eclipsed The Ancient One who was bound by her human form. However, due to the staggeringly high number of half-dead or deceased demon gods, it meant the undigested chaos energy within them was overwhelming. Shortly after, Odin too, found himself overstuffed.
As The Ancient One was generously force-feeding Strange, Odin glanced over. Considering The Ancient One was being so open-handed with her own student, it felt wrong for Odin not to treat his own son, Loki, the same way. Thus, Odin began stuffing Loki with energy as well.
Initially, Loki was ecstatic. On one hand, this massive influx of power could significantly boost his own strength. On the other hand, he was touched by Odin's attention – something he had never experienced before.
Soon enough, both Strange and Loki could hardly contain their discomfort.
As everyone knows, humans have their limits. Even though The Ancient One was force-feeding Strange with energy, he was, after all, a mere mortal. Soon, he was getting too stuffed, and the magic energy inside him began to run wild, uncontrollably dispersing into the universe.
Strange screamed, "Stop! Teacher, I..."
The result was another surge of extremely refined energy flowing into him. Strange felt like he was inflated into a balloon, his entire body filled with power that was impossible to control. The power started to rampage within him. Strange half-kneeled and let out a gagging sound.
Loki initially reveled in Strange's discomfort. If Strange was already struggling after integrating just a tiny fraction of the available power, it only spoke to the vast gap between the physical limitations of ordinary humans and the mighty god race.
As it turned out, Loki had celebrated prematurely.
When The Ancient One transferred power to Strange, she did it after thoroughly considering his capacities. The power she imbued him with had undergone her transformation, hence he didn't need to digest it.
But Odin wasn't so meticulous when transferring power to Loki. The Aesir clan was known for their grandiose style. Initially, Odin would use a lightning strike to kill a demon god, keeping seven parts of the deceased's power for himself, assigning two parts to Gungnir, and the remaining one part to Loki.
This power was raw and unprocessed. Once Loki received it, he had to digest it on his own.
Things were manageable as long as Odin wasn't getting too full. But as soon as Odin himself was satiated, Loki's share rose to seven parts.
If it could be said that The Ancient One was giving Strange white rice porridge, then Odin was essentially feeding Loki a meal of pebble and scrambled eggs. No matter how high Loki's divine limit was, it was useless if his digestive system couldn't keep up. After a while, Loki was also half-kneeling on the ground, gagging.
Despite these fledglings being stuffed until they were vomiting, the tour of looting for The Ancient One and Odin was far from complete. With over half the spoils still scattered about, not collecting them seemed utterly wasteful.
If one's own children were overstuffed, were there no foster ones? The Ancient One pulled out her phone and started summoning from Kamar-Taj. A few moments later, a series of dazzling multicolored lights descended from the skies above the Himalayas.
Not long after, all the mages of Kamar-Taj were sprawled on the ground. Wong, leaning against a pillar, clasped his neck as if he had overindulged in alcohol: "Urgh..."
Odin wouldn't be outdone either. Gods from all around Asgard began to gather around the Fairy Palace. It wasn't long before countless golden lights descended from above the Palace.
At first, the gods of Asgard loudly praised the generosity of the Father of All Gods, but not long after, wails began to echo out. Heimdall, leaning against a column of the Palace, shouted, "Wait!! Father of All Gods!! I really can't..."
"Urgh..."
As it turns out, there were limits to what not just humans, but gods as well, can tolerate.
It wasn't really that they had so much power that they were able to feed all the beings until they were vomiting, but like Loki's problem, these powers also required digestion for the god clan. Before they could even digest the first wave of power, the second wave had already arrived. After numerous waves like these, even the gods had a hard time keeping up.
Looking at the half amount of spoils still remaining in the cosmos, then turning to look at their overfed children, The Ancient One and Odin exchanged glances.
Waste is shameful. It's honorable to clean up one's plate. Time to find a warehouse and start moving stuff.
