Shiller wanted to play this course a few more times, not solely because it was interesting, but because the field did indeed possess the possibility of hiding statues, particularly within the sun.
However, he went in several more times, casually using the gray mist to check the facilities in the field when people were not watching. After not finding a trace of the statue, he was certain that Walt Disney's statue was not in this venue.
After leaving, Shiller went to the World Expo's exhibition hall, where he coincidentally ran into Loki and Thanos who were visiting the museum. Shiller wanted to ride the roller coaster nearby and bumped into them.
After exchanging a few pleasantries, Loki took the initiative to say, "I didn't expect the human race to be ahead of us again. Thanos and I are contemplating how to establish a museum for the Nine Major Kingdoms for cultural propaganda purposes."
"Did it inspire you?" Shiller looked around and asked.
"Absolutely." Loki nodded and replied, "Most of Asgard's museums and libraries merely display spoils of war for viewing. Yet, the human race's form of propaganda is undoubtedly more diverse, perhaps a boon of your multinational system."
"Every country is striving to promote its strengths, not only in history and culture, but also for the benefits that their own development can bring to human civilization. I just came from over there; I think you should take a look."
Loki gestured behind him, and when Shiller looked in that direction, he noticed several large halls that seemed to have been set up by major countries.
In essence, this place is a scaled-down version of the World Expo. Each country brought a miniature exhibition hall and a miniature project. Only when Shiller walked in the direction Loki pointed did he realize that this side was the exhibition halls of the five permanent members of the United Nations.
Funnily enough, the American exhibition hall was directly opposite the Chinese exhibition hall. These two countries' exhibition halls were the largest in the park, giving off a showdown's air.
Shiller visited the China Pavilion. However, the main focus of this park's exhibits was not historical culture but the contributions each country made to the Solar System Development Plan.
In the exhibition, Shiller learned that eighty percent of the manufacturers accepting orders for the construction of the Solar System-Pluto Star Harbor came from China, mostly state-owned units.
The plaque mentioned that the foundational part of the Star Port was almost complete seven months after the project started. In the group photos, Shiller saw the figures of several people familiar to him from SWORD.
Unsurprisingly, there is a section specifically dedicated to the contributions made by mutants to the construction. The pictures are mostly of various mutants in their uniforms working on the front lines. Shiller took some pictures and intended to send them to Professor X.
He quickly received a response from Professor X, who, as always, responded with a gentle and wise tone.
"We all know that the struggle will end one day. Some choose to leave in preparation for that day, while others choose to stay, like when Erik and I made different choices."
"Are you planning to leave?" Shiller typed to ask him.
"I didn't choose to leave. I simply chose Erik, yet again," Professor X replied.
After leaving the exhibition hall, Shiller entered the one across the street. The American exhibition hall was as gaudy as ever, mainly showcasing some magical new materials to pique people's interest, making the displays feel unique and one-of-a-kind.
The promotion of the American spirit mainly mentioned their propensity for leading the way, from the first moon landing to the first touch of the sun.
Below a picture of Apollo, the caption made Shiller feel a bit off. It read, "We shall not stand on the shoulders of giants; instead, we shall carry them towards the sun."
Next were the English, French, and Russian pavilions. Essentially, the English, French, and other European pavilions all conveyed the same message, which was the substantial progress made by the European Union in space exploration.
But there's nothing to be done as European countries are small in size, and the aerospace field is the most demanding on a country's industrial system. Smaller land area and insufficient resources are not conducive to industrial development. Only through unity can they make a show of strength.
This forced those discussing Britain's potential exit from the European Union to quiet down compared to before. Everyone was struggling together for a share of the cake from the neighboring big players, and they wouldn't even get a crumb if they were to exit.
The Russian pavilion was the most interesting. They displayed ice sculptures of miniaturized equipment models, which were the result of their latest major scientific achievement: low-temperature and constant-temperature technology.
Although it sounded like a selling point for some refrigerators, Shiller found this technology to be similar to Victor's dense ice upon closer inspection. The ice sculptures displayed in the Russian pavilion were not only intricately carved and didn't appear to be made of ice, but they also hardly felt cold.
Shiller had almost touched them before he felt a hint of cold, proving that this kind of ice has a very low level of heat exchange, which can be called a new type of normal-temperature material.
Afterwards, there was a display of some research results obtained through archeology, such as Russia having a team specifically studying mathematical rates, the most outrageous of which was that they seemed to have stumbled upon the possibility of the existence of rule beings in the universe through calculations.
This was not wild speculation or baseless fabrication. They had a very complete process of inference. Shiller carefully looked over it and had Gray Mist take a glance as well, finding that within ten to thirty years at most, the existence of the five gods would basically be impossible to hide.
Next was the Nordic Union Exhibition Hall. The Nordic countries were no longer pretending. These countries didn't have much discord to begin with, and now there were faint signs of the first true union of nations on Earth. Their cooperation in many areas was so comprehensive that it was more like preliminary preparations for a direct merger.
Most of their achievements were in the field of precision instruments, particularly in the precise calculation of space transportation networks and the extrapolation of future transportation routes in the solar system.
Then he breezed through some of the smaller countries' pavilions, most of which focused on showcasing their collaborative activities with other countries, demonstrating goodwill.
Having made his rounds, Shiller was satisfied and planned to grab a bite to eat. He'd just sat down at the restaurant when he saw Bruce and his companions arriving.
Their itinerary for the day was the Future World. It seemed they'd just arrived there and planned to visit the World Expo.
So Shiller watched Bruce's expression while eating, from disbelief to shock, then confusion, and finally numbness.
Shiller was sure that at least ten times Bruce had checked with Clark if they were dreaming, and Diana at least twenty times.
For them, what was most unbelievable was not the development of human technology on Earth, after all, give a monkey a typewriter and one day it'll churn out some Shakespeare. The cosmos having a few advanced Earths wasn't strange.
What really shocked them was that the countries on this Universe's Earth had actually united.
You might as well have tried to convince them that monkeys could actually put out Shakespeare.
Previously Bruce had only heard faint rumours of this, but he never really felt it, or rather, deeply in his heart, he did not want to believe it.
Diana was even more skeptical. She had first experienced World War I, then World War II, and as one of the Immortal Species with a full understanding of the ability of humans to hurt their own kind, expecting humans to unite was like expecting monkeys to churn out Shakespeare.
As for Clark, he found it natural, after all, the monkeys on Krypton could really write Shakespeare.
After finishing his meal, Shiller went for a stroll in the former Future World, finding that while there were plenty of amusement rides, the novelty they brought was no match for the three newer areas.
As Shiller was about to leave the park, a shiny Golden-Red Armor landed in front of him. Stark opened the faceplate and said, "I picked up a strange signal beneath the shuttle platform, I suspect it has something to do with the statue. Want to check it out?"
So the two of them went to the shuttle platform together. Loki was there too. Considering that the previous two statues were only lit once a task was completed, they began looking for clues on the shuttle platform.
After a while, Stark called the other two over and said: "The signal I've been monitoring has changed a bit, but I can't tell yet if it's a good change. Perhaps we should wait."
It wasn't until it was almost dark that they finally figured out what was going on: each time a child in the shuttle showed a sense of wonder, a subtle shift occurred in the signal coming from the ground.
He had no idea how this emotional monitoring was being accomplished, but everything in this amusement park disregarded the normal rules, so this was just one more on the list.
So Iron Man began his educational tour of the shuttles, becoming the most dedicated worker on the shuttle platform.
Using the children's fascination with mecha, he educated them about different types of shuttles, hyped up the atmosphere before launching the shuttle, and harvested a great deal of awe at the moment of launch.
It wasn't until the shuttle had come and gone more than forty times that the signal finally peaked and stopped changing. Loki, who was very perceptive, noticed that a spot on the lowest floor began to glow.
Stark was almost dead tired. As he flew down with the others, he said, "I can't believe that just a few days ago I was discussing with Pepper about having children. These are demons. They should be calling Mephisto 'Dad'!"
They were in the shuttle platform's maintenance room. After finding the anomaly in the floor to avoid damaging the equipment, Shiller turned into mist and flew down. Eventually, he brought out a statue of Walt Disney that was shimmering faintly.
"So now there's only one left. Where do you think it might be?"
After some thought, Loki said, "The Animal Kingdom might be the hardest one. What if we have to make a hundred animals happy? What do we do then?"
"Oh God, spare me." Stark slumped, hands hanging down, complaining, "Am I supposed to coax giraffes now?"
But Shiller suddenly remembered something. He turned to the others and asked, "I overheard a visitor saying that the Avatar Area in the Animal Kingdom hasn't been completed yet. What's the deal with that?"
