Chapter 2012: Ignite the Strange Dream in Your Heart (Part 5)_1

"We need to strategize first." Bruce said as he looked at the map in his hand: "We're bound to queue for the popular attractions. So, going early seems like the best approach. The downside is that we'll most likely have to cover some ground twice."

"So are you planning to head straight to the most popular rides to reduce waiting times or follow the order of the attractions to avoid backtracking?"

Clark and Diana were also examining the map Bruce had spread out. The map was huge, with a terrain map on the left and project introductions marked on the right.

The Magic Kingdom is divided into six areas: Tomorrowland, Frontierland, Fantasyland, Adventureland, Liberty Square, and Main Street, U.S.A.

It's not important how these areas are arranged, what's vital is they are home to three incredibly popular roller coasters: Thunder Mountain, Splash Mountain, and Space Mountain.

Though these three roller coasters are known as the most thrilling rides in the Magical World, honestly speaking, they pale in comparison to some famous roller coasters, those with tracks resembling pretzels.

Diana noted that they were currently at the start of Main Street, U.S.A. If they continued ahead and took a right turn, they'd enter Future World, where the recommended Space Mountain roller coaster was located.

Honestly, Diana wasn't really interested in princess stories. Besides the fact that she was a princess herself, she knew all too well that pinning all hopes on a potential prince was quite possibly the stupidest thing in the world.

On the contrary, she found human technology fascinating. As a historian, she had some unique views on human conception of the city of the future.

So, she boldly stated, "Let's start with Future World and ride Space Mountain. Then we can play Buzz Lightyear's shooter game, follow that with racing cars, then watch a talk show. I think by then it should be noon, and we can have lunch within Future World."

"I want to ride this." Clark pointed at one of the projects on the map. The other two glanced and noticed it was a slow tram that circled Future World — also known as the sightseeing train.

Clark flashed a brilliant smile, then said, "I love riding this kind of train in every amusement park. It's a great way to relax, especially after standing in line for three hours."

"We do have Fast Passes this time, but I think we can still ride it. After all, each amusement park's exterior architecture is worth admiring."

After making up their minds, the three quickly headed towards Future World, located on the eastern side of the Magic Kingdom. Even before they left Main Street, U.S.A., they were engulfed in a wave of people.

"It seems like they have the same idea as us; Future World must be the most exciting." Diana snapped her fingers and confidently stated.

Shiller and Lucifer's route was the exact opposite of theirs. They decided to take their time and visit all the attractions clockwise from left to right according to the geographical location.

All the areas within the Magical World have distinctive style differences. For instance, the first place they visited, Adventureland, was decorated in a jungle and primitive look, with irregular stones on the ground, decorative plants on both sides of the pathways, and rainforest styled plants scattered in various corners.

It was a sunny day, and the pair were almost baked by the time they were halfway through Main Street, U.S.A. Shiller glanced around and noticed a nearby shop selling a variety of straw hats.

He picked up a hat tied with a red spotted ribbon and placed it on his head, and then he grabbed a very exaggerated pirate hat and plopped it on Lucifer's head.

Lucifer quickly removed the heavy and uncomfortable hat and hung it back up, meanwhile surveying the shop's array of hats.

"Hey, that captain's hat suits you perfectly!" A shop assistant bolted out from a small side door and pointed at Lucifer, saying, "If you wear it to see Captain Jack, I guarantee he'll be so pleased, he'll appoint you as his first mate..."

"Wow, so this is the one you like?" The shop assistant immediately grabbed the hat that Lucifer had been eyeing. It was a cap imprinted with the American flag.

"Seriously, you have to wear this cap on the Liberty Square boat ride. You will hear about the great deeds of the presidents…"

"My goodness, you're eyeing Peter Pan's hat." The shop assistant raised her voice in surprise and exclaimed, "Quick, put it on and fly with Peter Pan! Just head that way."

Finally, Shiller wore the straw hat, while Lucifer wore a hat topped with a dinosaur skull. It was said that wearing this hat could earn you a badge on Splash Mountain.

"I believe the idea of the badges is great." As they walked to Adventure World, Shiller said, "We can also leave some badges and collectibles around the game scenes. Collecting certain items could be rewarded with points or other gifts."

"Please, leave some purity in the heroes' ideals." Lucifer seemed helpless and said, "You must be planning to scatter over three hundred badges in one game, and only tell them they've only collected a fraction when they leave the game. If they want to continue collecting, they'll have to spend more money on second-round tickets."

"Just look at this park." Shiller spread out his arms and proclaimed, "This is what a successful business model creates. What keeps children's dreams alive? It's the continuous revenue from here, every penny adults spend here!"
