Day Break chapter 3: Staring into the abyss 

Kiomzah wakes up feeling dazed, he looks at the clock and it shows that it is 3am.

"Huh….. seems like I woke up early"

He gets ready quickly and rushes outside remembers that school doesn't start for another 5 hour. Bored and with nothing to do he goes outside and looks around for things to do. He decides to be adventurous and looks for a new place. He doesn't know where but he just keeps moving forward. He finds himself in some woods and starts to get second thoughts. It was only 3:45am and he didn't like the dark. Not all darkness is created equally, the darkness of a cave is different to the darkness of the deepest parts of the ocean and the darkest part of the ocean is different from the darkest part of the woods. He sees a light and wonders toward it finding an ancient structure.(creepy but really cool) he thinks to himself. He's always wanted to find one these but, something's wrong.  Why are the lights unless someone's here.  He keeps walking and sees some people wearing cloaks with blood everywhere. In the middle of the room he sees a girl on the table she seemed around the same age as him.(they might be sacrificing her woaw. This seems like it might be an evil cult type situation. He sees that they put some magical barriers around them to stop what there doing, but what exactly are they doing?

He smirks at how weak they are and instantly breaks them. He hid behind a barrel while watching.

"Today marks a new age where we rule. After we harvest the bloods if innocence we shall live like KINGS NO GODS!" Said the leader they start cheering and laughing. Its was nice of him to tell me what he was doing but I might just let him do it. It's not like hes ever gonna be as powerful as me but, if I let this girl die it will be my fault but, why should I care i dont even know her and people die everyday so why dose it matter that one extra person dies. I'd have to live with not saving someone when I had the chance. He thinks it himself for a bit more but turns to see that they already begun by cutting one of her wrists. They was about to do the second one. With some more thought he rushes in and snaps his finger disarming everyone. Then he stomps his feet creating a massive amount of gravity in the area pinning them to the ground but then stops seeing the girl bleed more.

"What were you guys thinking? Did you really think you could get away with this? But who are you and why are you doing this. Actually why am I asking, there's no reason for you to tell me I might as well just knock you out." Said kiomzah

"Ahahahhaha you really think you can match up against us. PATHETIC!" Says one the lacys transforming into a giant red mess of tentacles and other body parts.

"These are all the body's parts I have ate and absorbed your next AHAHAHHAHAHAH!" He says. The others being cutting the girls other wrist and collecting it in a bucket shes already passed out by now. (If I don't stop this now she'll die) thinks kiomzah.

"I don't have time for this get out of ny way now!" He says. The guy hits him with a tentacle and send kiomzah flying across the room.

"Now that's taken care of let's get back to this special occasion." Says one of the devotees before fainting. Only three of the cultists are left awake its seems like the leader fo the cult is still awake and two of his devotees. The other turns into an amalgamation of animal parts and turns ravenous eating the tentacle guy. Kiomzah could hear him scream but just watched in horror.

"The weak do not survive ehehe." she said. Growing more limbs, eyes, mouths and growing bigger. Around 15 metre big.

"Judgement will be cast upon you fowl creature." says kiomzah. It rushes towards him cracking the ground in the process. 7am Day Break. Tendrils shooting at kiomzah he looks calm. Right as the were about to make contact he makes an eminence amount of gravity shredding the monster to bits. He dashes towards to leader but, he stabs a scythe right into the girl's heart.

"Aahahha you were to later it's you let her die if only you took this more seriously you might have saved her. I could see you had a great amount of power but you failed and I win or do I you can still save her….. Ooooooh I'm so happy happy happy happy happy happy happy happy..."the leader says. Kiomzah breaks down crying.

"Why are you telling me this?"

"You can't tell I'm mocking you its gives me enjoyment to see you crying I just want to drink those tears of your oooo yes they'd taste so good ooooo hahaha I know you wont be able to anyway. Giving you hope then crushing it gives me such delight. All you have do is overload the magic in the scythe and then she wakes back up.

Currently shes being absorbed by the scythe." 

He has no other way.  The only option is to trust him. Kiomzah closes his eyes and goes to grab the scythe and channel his energy through it changing the colour from black to bright blue. He opens his eyes to see that the girl is gone. The scythe turned into a blue marble it was heavy for such a small object. He looks back to see the the guy had killed himself by cutting his head of eyes open and smiling. Kiomzah heads to school he doesn't even bother to walk he just teleporter there but he found it extremely hard to do such a simple task 9:00am
