Urgent Situation.

Footsteps galloped along the Imperial Hallway, making all eyes turn toward him where a man dressed as a Knight was running toward a room that was close to the library.

"Please step aside, urgent announcement!" He shouted after seeing several maids crowding in front of the room he was headed for.

Seeing a Knight running towards them, the female maids immediately opened a path for him.

"Please be more careful next time, Sir Evgont!" One of the maids shouted.

Meanwhile, the man named Evgont only grinned after being rebuked. After standing in front of the room's door, he readied himself before touching the doorknob in front of him.

"You can, Evgont." He muttered to himself.

But before he could open the door, a sudden shout from one of the maids made his body freeze.

"You'd better not go in now, Sir Evgont. Because Prince Clovis is inside."

Hearing that made his hands fall to his sides, remembering that the information he brought was very important, he couldn't back now.

The maids who saw Evgont's body froze at the door and suddenly whispered to each other. But someone who appeared at the end of the hallway brought their gazes into focus.

"Did you see it?" Asked one of the maids with bun hair.

"Yes, I saw it, isn't that Crown Princess Elie's Little Brother?"

"Yes, you are right."

One of the maids standing behind was watching carefully the boy who was suspected to be Zavei, Elie's Little Brother.

"It's been one year since the Imperial Academy finished."

After the body that wasn't much taller had entered the Emperor's special quarters, the maids' attention was distracted and turned to the man wearing Royal clothes with a sword slung to his belt.

"You are right, he is Prince Zavei."

The sound of footsteps getting closer to them, the face that was covered by a robe, slowly began to appear and made the maids silent.

Zavei lifted his face and looked at the face of one of the maids who stood at the very front.

"Where can I meet His Highness?" He asked in a cold tone.

Feeling flustered by the deadpan stare as well as the cold voice that was given out by the young man in front of them, made the maid who was being questioned tremble.

Seeing her friend shaking, made the maid with her hair in a bun covering her friend's body.

"You can meet His Highness in the room over there." The maid pointed to a door not far from her.

Zavei followed the finger of the maid in front of him. His head nodded, then he lowered his body in thanks.

"You all can go on." He said.

After notifying, the maids ran from where they were before. But one of the maids mentioned stood at the very back, staring at the back of Zavei who walking to the Emperor's room.

"He's grown that big already." She mumbled.

Then she returned to follow the maids running from the Emperor's domain. Back to Zavei who had arrived in front of the room in question, still with a Knight waiting there.

Zavei's face turned to the Knight who just stared straight at the door in front of them. Their heights weren't that much different, but Zavei was shorter than the Knight beside him.

"Are you going to stay here? Not knocking on the door?" Zavei asked.

Evgont's head turned to the boy beside him. Look closely at whose face is under the hood.

"Who are you?" He asked.

Feeling annoyed when he saw the eyebrows of the man beside him made Zavei open the hood of his robe that was blocking his face.

Seeing the handsome face of the boy beside him, Evgont was stunned until his eyes couldn't leave Zavei's face.

Zavei furrowed his brows. "What are you looking at?" He asked furiously.

Evgont shook his head. "Greetings to you, Prince Zavei." He said politely.

Zavei adjusted his hood, his attention turned to the doorknob in front of him.

"Who's in there anyway?" Zavei asked while playing with the laces of his robe.

"Prince Clovis."

𝐒𝐋𝐀𝐌!

"Oh my god.." Evgont covered his face.

The sound of the door being kicked in made the two people in the room turn toward the door. Their gazes turned to Zavei who had a straight face with his robes almost open.

"I don't think I want to wait long, Your Highness," Zavei said with a flat tone.

Meanwhile, the two men inside only looked at Zavei with surprised faces. Likewise, the Knight had been hiding behind the wall for fear of being dragged along by Zavei.

"You come, Prince Zavei."

Hearing the friendly voice of the tall man far away from him somehow sickened him.

"I don't want to play here, Your Highness."

Meanwhile, Carlex, who was waiting for Zavei's arrival, put on a serious face. Seeing how arrogant the face of a boy who was much younger than him was.

"It seems you don't know personal matters, do you, Prince Zavei?"

Hearing that made Zavei chuckle mockingly. "Didn't I say that if something happens to my Sister, then I won't stay silent?"

Hearing the word "Sister", the attention of a man who had talking with Carlex shifted to Zavei who was looking at him with condescending eyes.

Carlex glanced at his son's face which could be said to be very flat, even the tea in the man's hand was still calm.

𝘛𝘶𝘤𝘬...

Hearing the sound of the cup being put back on the plate made the atmosphere tense. Moreover, Clovis's gaze was staring flatly at his tea.

"What do you even know, Prince Zavei?"

The deep and cold voice that came from Clovis made everyone speechless, including his father.

"Clovis.." Carlex looked worriedly at Clovis.

Clovis gritted his teeth. "You all act nice in her presence, don't you?"

Jolted at Clovis's words, made Zavei's brows furrow.

Clovis gave Zavei a sharp look. "Is it true that you came all this way just to take her? Are you sure there's nothing else hidden?"

Carlex, who heard it, was also confused, more so when he heard that there was something "else".

"What do you mean, Prince Clovis?"

Clovis smirked, staring into Zavei's blue eyes. "I won't let anyone touch her, not even her family."

Zavei slammed his cloak on the floor, looking annoyed at Clovis' red eyes. "Are you talking nonsense? I'm always with her, more than you."

Clovis' jaw clenched. "Are you still unconscious?"

Zavei gasped, seeing the gray aura behind Clovis' body.

"What are you saying?"

Clovis walked closer to Zavei, his gaze still watching the boy's eyes.

"Did you know that she had a difficult situation after her mother's death?"

Zavei steps backward, with his head shaking.

"Do you realize that she's been through a lot of difficult things without anyone besides her?"

Clovis brought his body closer to Zavei, who stopped because his back was touching the wall of the room.

"NO WAY!" Zavei's voice snapped.

𝐓𝐡𝐰𝐚𝐜𝐤!

"No way? Do you also know that she always cries every time she sleeps?"

Clovis pressed his fist on the cracked wall.

"And you need to know that every time she dreams, she always mentions the names of you, which she calls family." He explained.

Zavei's body froze, the wall beside his face was destroyed, and the wall cracks fell on his shoes. The man's hand in front of him hit the wall beside his face, he could see the sharp and also cold look from Clovis's bloodshot eyes.

"You only know her after she fell into the lake," Clovis whispered.

Zavei was silent, while Clovis pulled his body backward from Zavei. He don't know what he was doing, Zavei glanced at the wall that was cracked due to his actions.

Clovis's face turned to his father who stared at him in disbelief. He sensed that something would explode after this.

"𝐂𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐬."

The deep voice of his father surrounded him, especially with Carlex's eyes turning yellowish red.

"What are you doing in my room?"

Clovis shifted sideways, he turned his attention in any direction so that his gaze didn't meet his father's eyes.

"I have to go."

Not having time to step his foot out of the door, someone bumped into his broad chest until his body jerked.

"Ughhh.."

Clovis gasped in surprise at the sight of gray hair emerging from beneath him, moreover, the girl in front of him was stroking her nose.

"Elie?"

Hearing the familiar deep voice, Elie's face lifted, noticing Clovis' tall body blocking her view.

"Clovis?" She mumbled.

Clovis was stunned to see those two amber colored eyes that calmed him down. A strange feeling filled him every time he saw the girl's face before him, not to mention Elie's gaze that was aimed at him.

Clovis shifts the bangs blocking Elie's face.

"Why are you here, Elie?" He asked.

Elie tilted her head. "I'm here because I'm looking for you, Clovis. Then when I was in the garden earlier I heard something being punched hard, so I immediately ran here."

Seeing Elie's worried look, she caught Clovis's slightly reddened face.

"Are you injured?" She asked.

Clovis gulped hard, feeling the cold touch of Elie's finger brushing his forehead.

His lips smiled slightly. "I'm all right, Elie."

Elie was still worried about Clovis's condition, moreover, the glazed look that was seen from that man's red eyes.

"Clovis."

His shoulder being pulled from behind made Elie's gaze see what was in the room. Meanwhile, the man who pulled Clovis's shoulder was surprised to see Elie standing in front of Clovis.

Clovis annoyed. "Could you not pull me suddenly, Father?"

Elie's gaze shifted to the tall man who was standing behind Clovis.

"What's going on, Your Highness?" Elie asked blankly.

Carlex cleared his throat, glancing briefly at the boy who was crouched in front of the wall of his room.

"You better come inside, Elie."

Clovis gave his father a sharp glance, but his attention was diverted when Elie's body brushed past him.

"Elie..."

Elie's body had already entered Carlex's room, she had a chance to feel a stabbing air that was felt in the core of her soul. But her attention was diverted after seeing the cracks in the wall scattered on her left.

"What happened-"

Both eyes opened and saw someone who was crouched in front of the wall. Her gaze shifted to the cracked wall with a hole in the middle.

Elie's eyes flickered to the two men who were looking the other way, where they didn't want to meet Elie's gaze.

"Who did it?"

Elie looked back at the person who was curled up, she didn't know who it was.

But her attention was consumed after seeing a very, very familiar sword. The silver colored sword she had sharpened during the Imperial academy.

"Zavei?"

Slowly the face that was previously hidden between the knees, began to lift towards Elie. A look of disbelief after seeing a familiar face in her life.

𝘞𝘩𝘺 𝘪𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘣𝘰𝘺 𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦? Elie thought.

"Elie."

Elie's body jerked, seeing the tears flowing from her brother's eyes. With running, Elie approached her Brother who was crying out loud.

"Hey, Zavei.." Elie rested on her knees.

Her palm clasped her Brother's palm. The feeling that was wrapped in worry could not be separated from her when her Brother's cries grew louder.

"Why are you crying? And what are you doing here?" Elie asked while gently stroking the back of her Brother's hand.

But Zavei's cries grew louder after hearing Elie's worries. That boy couldn't stop crying, especially Elie who was stroking the back of his hand.

"Elie.." Zavei called Elie with a sob.

Elie watched Zavei who was in front of her with a waiting expression.

"Yes Zavei, I'm here, you have to calm down." She said.

Zavei shook his head until his tears scattered. "I'm sorry, forgive me if I hurt you."

Elie tightened her grip on his hand. "What are you saying?" Elie lowered her head, so she could see Zavei's face.

Zavei snorted. "Prince Clovis was right, I shouldn't have treated you like a stranger."

Elie's shoulder jerked at Zavei's words. Tears dripped down her hands. Her gaze fell on the caramel hair of the boy in front of her.

𝘐𝘵 𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘯𝘦𝘥 𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘌𝘭𝘪𝘦 𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 𝘭𝘰𝘯𝘦𝘭𝘺 𝘣𝘦𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘦. She thought.

The grip on Zavei's hand was released, making that boy's eyelids open as Elie pulled her hand.

𝙃𝙪𝙜𝙨...

"Don't cry anymore, I don't blame you." Said Elie reassuringly.

Hearing a voice that was very close to his ear, Zavei was stunned after a hug grabbed his body. Zavei's eyes turned to Elie's back, watching her back with watery eyes.

"I'm sorry I wasn't there for you, Elie." He said.

Elie smiled. "I don't want to remember, now I just want to enjoy new memories with you, Zavei."

Zavei hugged Elie's body tightly, burying his face into this girl's shoulder.

"Please forgive me, I won't repeat the same mistake."

Elie smiled bitterly. 𝘠𝘰𝘶 𝘴𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘴𝘢𝘪𝘥 𝘣𝘦𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘦 𝘴𝘩𝘦 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 𝘭𝘦𝘧𝘵, 𝘡𝘢𝘷𝘦𝘪. She thought.

Patting Zavei's shoulder gently, Elie kept trying to calm her Brother down.

"I don't want to hear you cry, Zavei. So stop." She said.

Zavei whined. "I can't stop it!" He complained.

Elie chuckled. "That's it, I'm here for you, so don't worry."

Meanwhile, on the other hand, there was Carlex who was desperately trying to hold back Clovis's body that was struggling. The tall man with the identity of his son started to get provoked after seeing Elie hug Zavei's body, then it got worse after seeing Zavei hug his girl back.

"Let me go, Father," Clovis said while holding back his anger.

While Carlex who was holding his son's shoulder could only smile bitterly, it was the first time for him to see Clovis upset over something, and also that man kept casting dragon gazes at Zavei.
