Uninvited Arrival.

Didn't expect a tense atmosphere, a man already standing in the doorway with a boy she knew very well.

A sharp gaze was directed to the man who was sitting together with a girl beside him. While the girl who was sitting just stared feeling uneasy when she saw the face of the man who came suddenly.

"What's wrong with this madman? Has no manners to disturb people's peace huh?"

The girl beside him immediately turned her head with a murderous glare, when he cursed at the man standing in the doorway.

𝘞𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘥𝘰𝘦𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘣𝘢𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘳𝘥 𝘱𝘶𝘵 𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘮𝘰𝘶𝘵𝘩? She thought cursing the jerk beside her.

The girl turned her head to look into the red eyes of the man standing in the doorway. But that man only stared wistfully at her, and she was the only one to feel that stare for the first time.

"Clovis..." She muttered trying to stand up.

𝐆𝐫𝐢𝐩!

"Where do you think you are going, Princess Elie?"

The gaze that had been watching Clovis' red eyes slowly shifted to the man who was holding up her dress. Sensing an aura that was different from before, the brown haired man gulped down his spit roughly.

"Didn't I warn you before not to touch me even my dress, Prince Saveri?"

Despite being warned, that man didn't let go of the tugs on her dress causing Elie to get angry, even Clovis and Zavei who were waiting for her at the door.

"Aren't you going to be betrothed to me?" Saveri asked while glancing at Clovis' face.

Feeling a bolt of lightning hit him, Clovis glared at Saveri who was smirking at him. The man's red eyes seemed to want to tear Saveri who was holding onto Elie's dress, even though that girl had tried to let go.

"Zavei, get out," Clovis said raising his right hand.

Zavei was confused, especially since the gray aura he had seen reappeared from the back of the tall man in front of him.

Lowering his body, Zavei withdrew himself from the situation according to Clovis' orders.

"Don't listen to his bullshit, Clovis." Elie's voice rises.

Elie turned to Saveri who was looking at her with a happy gaze, but she didn't feel it.

"Can you let me go before something happens?"

Saveri shrugged his shoulders. "I won't let you go, didn't Lady Namenva give permission?"

The look in her eyes changed, her amber eyes looked annoyed at Saveri, even though she tried to cover it up with a straight face.

"𝐆𝐞𝐭 𝐫𝐢𝐝 𝐨𝐟 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐝."

Elie turned quickly after a deep voice entered her ear. She could see a dark aura that almost covered the entire room, moreover, that aura came from Clovis.

Seeing how Clovis' straight face was looking at him, Saveri sneered with a condescending face.

"Come to your senses, Prince Clovis. What exactly are you doing here?"

Elie looked back at Saveri who was challenging Clovis. She realized that now was not the time to play.

"That's enough, do you know who you're talking to?" Elie asked seeing her dress being pulled.

Saveri chuckled, a chuckle that sounded sickening to Elie.

"You don't know that he's just an outcast? He doesn't necessarily become Emperor."

𝙎𝙬𝙞𝙨𝙝-

"Repeat it."

Saveri's body was pushed against the sofa cushion. The sharpness of the dagger almost cut his throat if he didn't dodge.

"If I hear the words about him pass your lips, I will cut your vocal cords." Elie threatened while pressing the dagger against Saveri's Adam's apple.

Saveri held back his saliva, once he took a sip, his Adam's apple would be cut.

"Put your dagger away first." His words trembled.

Slowly she moved her hand away, but it didn't last long, suddenly Elie thrust her dagger into the pillow beside Saveri's neck.

"Know your place, Saveri."

Meanwhile, that man just stared blankly at Elie's face, which was slowly moving away from his body. She pushed her long dress aside, staring at the sharp iron dagger in her hand.

𝙏𝙚𝙖𝙧!

"Elie?"

The maroon dress she was wearing was torn up to her knees, she cut it open with a dagger. Clovis's red eyes widened at this, especially when Elie moved her gray hair braids back.

"This dress is so uncomfortable." She complained.

Elie's face looked up at Clovis and saw Clovis' tall body and the face she had missed for the past 2 days.

"Prince Clovis~"

Seeing Elie's beautiful face who was running towards him, Clovis lowered his body and spread out his arms. That man caught Elie's body as she ran into his arms. His arms wrapped around Elie's waist and lifted her.

"Your braids are so pretty, Elie."

Hearing the praises for her, Elie smiled warmly. "How did you come here, Prince Clovis?" She asked while brushing Clovis' firm jaw.

Clovis felt the warmth of Elie's skin touching his jaw, moreover, the girl's sad gaze made him smile.

"I came here to see you because Evgont received a banquet invitation from your Kingdom."

Elie stay listened to Clovis. But suddenly that man's glance turned to Saveri who was trying to escape from the window.

"But I saw you alone with a bug instead."

Laughing at the angry and sad expressions mixed on Clovis' face made her unable to contain that man's cuteness.

Elie touched her forehead to Clovis's, a smile forming on her face.

"I didn't expect that I would step into the bug trap," Elie replied rubbing her forehead on Clovis's forehead.

Clovis smiled faintly seeing Elie's lips that were very close to his sight.

"Then what do you think is more fun than getting into a bug trap?" Clovis asked feeling interested in what was on Elie's mind.

Elie's amber eyes glanced at Saveri who had frozen in place due to the effects of Clovis' aura.

"Destroyed the bug trap."

Saveri froze in place after Clovis' body covered his shadow from behind.

"Oh no."

"Let's have some fun, Prince Saveri." Said Elie smiling kindly.

𝙎𝙘𝙧𝙚𝙚𝙘𝙝!!

The noise occurred downstairs, and the guests were starting to feel uncomfortable due to the groaning coming from upstairs.

So were the three people waiting at the bottom of the stairs that Clovis and Elie had climbed up earlier. They waited with Evgont watching the atmosphere around the Hall.

"How did you come here, Sir Evgont?" Kae who stood beside Evgont felt curious.

Evgont's green eyes turned to Kae who was standing beside him with her feet resting on a pillar.

"I received an invitation from the Kingdom of Qavec and Prince Clovis directly pulled me into the stables."

Kae chuckled seeing Evgont's tired face, it looked like he was forced to keep riding the horse all night.

The distance between the Empire and the Qavec Kingdom was very far, one might say that it had to pass through several hills and villages. Usually, people choose to rest because it takes about 16 hours to arrive if they use normal roads.

"But it looks like you two used the hidden path, right?"

Evgont nodded wearily. "If only he was not the son of the Emperor."

"So what if I'm not the Emperor's son?"

𝐓𝐡𝐮𝐦𝐩!

Evgont's face slowly turned to the source of the sound that appeared to coincide with him, moreover with Elie walking beside that man's tall body.

"Is there a problem with the Emperor's son?" Elie asked along.

Seeing the flat gaze directed at him made Kae who was standing beside Evgont almost laugh.

𝘗𝘢𝘵 𝘗𝘢𝘵!

"It seems you not only offended the Emperor's Son."

Evgont lowered his head. "Forgive my impudence, Prince Clovis."

Clovis looked around, feeling the attention on him. What's more, people saw Elie's torn dress and also the girl who came down without using heels.

"What's going on? Why does Princess Elie look a mess?"

"What happened up there?"

"Where's Crown Prince Zeecda?"

𝙈𝙪𝙧𝙢𝙪𝙧-

Such were the whispers, but the two people who were seen as the perpetrators of the crime did not feel that they had done anything.

Remembering something, Clovis turned to Evgont, who was staring intently at Kae, who kept laughing at him.

"Evgont."

Evgont quickly turned his body to face Clovis. "I accept your every command, Prince Clovis."

His finger pointed upstairs. "Please bring the body of the man who is in the second room on the left."

Elie, who heard that, immediately covered Clovis' mouth before anyone misunderstood.

"Please help me to bring Prince Saveri's body downstairs, Sir Evgont."

Feeling confused, Evgont dared to ask.

"What happened, Princess Elie?"

"I almost killed him." Clovis held Elie's hand that was blocking his lips.

𝘚𝘪𝘨𝘩-

Elie was furious because Clovis didn't know where his words were leading. Firmly gripping the man's fingers, Elie looked at Evgont with a look of vexation.

"Prince Saveri just passed out because he almost fell from the balcony."

Nodding in understanding, Evgont followed Elie's and Clovis's orders.

Seeing Evgont's tall body running up the stairs, Kae who watched him felt funny. But she was even more confused by the behavior of the two people who were looking at each other.

"Didn't I tell you not to say anything weird, Prince Clovis?" Elie said, pinching the back of Clovis's hand.

There was a whimper from Clovis, but that man only glanced annoyed at Elie.

"But I want to kill him," he whispered.

Elie grunted. "But still, now isn't the right time."

With a flash, Clovis bent his body to get a better look at his fiancé's face.

"Does that mean tomorrow?"

𝐒𝐦𝐚𝐜𝐤!

"Please bring me some water, Sister Kae."

Kae's eyes glanced at Clovis who was holding his arm because the punch from Elie sounded painful to him.

𝘗𝘰𝘰𝘳 𝘗𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘤𝘦 𝘊𝘭𝘰𝘷𝘪𝘴. She thought in a sad tone.

However, she turned to follow Elie from behind while taking a glass of water from a waiter's tray.

𝘿𝙧𝙖𝙥 𝙙𝙧𝙖𝙥!

"I've brought him, Prince Clovis-"

His green eyes glanced to the side where Clovis was trying to flatten his face.

"Why are your arms red, Prince?"

Clovis smiled faintly, glancing at the braided hair of the girl sitting on one of the sofas.

"I was hit by a lioness."

Hearing that made Evgont tilt his head, but Clovis' attention was distracted by Saveri's body being carried like a sack of rice by the man.

Clovis's body moved closer to Evgont. "Have you confirmed it? Is he alive or not?" he whispered.

Evgont swallowed hard. "I accidentally kicked him in the stomach when he wanted to scream," he whispered feeling guilty.

But he instead found a satisfied face from Evgont, even though that man didn't show it.

"Well done, Evgont." He whispered.

"Crown Prince!"

Clovis and Evgont turned their heads as a girl came running toward them. Likewise, Elie who was sitting down immediately turned her face and saw who the girl was screaming.

"Isn't that Princess Ericilia?" Elie muttered to Kae who was beside her.

Following Elie's eyes, Kae realized who the girl Elie was referring to was.

"She is her Big Sister, Princess Eletha."

Elie stared, "She's the Sister? I didn't realize that."

Kae nodded. Then Elie chose to get up and approach the people who were gathering under the stairs.

"Oh no, what happened to Crown Prince Zeecda?"

Hearing a voice that had been bothering her all day, Elie turned to a woman who was trotting over to where Zavei and Evgont were.

But her attention shifted to that woman's chest.

𝘓𝘰𝘰𝘬, 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘯 𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘤𝘩𝘦𝘴𝘵 𝘪𝘴 𝘭𝘪𝘬𝘦 𝘢 𝘸𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘳 𝘣𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘵𝘰𝘺. Elie thought.

"Crown Prince, what happened?"

Seeing the worried face of the girl in front of him, Evgont slowly lowered Saveri's body to the floor, barefoot.

"Who made you get like this." Eletha patted Saveri's cheek lightly.

Even so, that man did not open his eyes either. Annoyed, Eletha glared at the two men standing beside Evgont's body.

But when she just wanted to see who dared to knock Saveri unconscious. Her lips felt numb as soon she saw the red eyes that symbolized blood and also the sword that hung on his belt.

"The Emperor's son, Prince Clovis."

Elie who saw Eletha's face turn pale made Elie stare at her flatly.

"Princess Eletha, why do you also lower your face, raise your face, don't let them belittle the Crown Prince," Namenva said while running.

But suddenly Namenva's body stopped for a moment after a taller body blocked her way.

"I don't want to bring you to your knees here, but it's good if you know your position, stepmother."

Namenva felt her blood rising, she splashed Elie's face with the wine that was in her glass.

She laughed seeing Elie's wet face. "Do you have any manners to talk to old people?" She yelled at Elie.

Elie bit her lower lip, feeling every drop of wine that fell on her eyelids.

"Shit, my eyes," Elie muttered painfully.

Namenva pushed Elie's shoulder until the girl backed off. "Did you know that without you this Kingdom would be much more prosperous under my tutelage?"

"Did you know that what you've done before has only destroyed the Kingdom's good name?" She snapped.

Elie's lips were pressed tightly together, but in contrast, her feelings were starting to flare up.

𝘕𝘰𝘵 𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦, 𝘩𝘰𝘭𝘥 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘴𝘦𝘭𝘧, 𝘈𝘭𝘦𝘺𝘺𝘢. Elie thought angrily.
