It's been 4 years, yet I still can't forget that day.

How it all started...

It was 8th October, the first anniversary of my relationship with Ella.

It was practically dinner time when I got to her apartment with a cake in my hand. I didn't tell her anything about my visit, because first I thought that she must remember our anniversary and second I wanted to surprise her and finally tell her my secret.

I stood outside her door and was gonna knock when I started hearing muffled noises.

Tears rolled down my eyes as she was riding and kissing the blonde guy, right in front of me while I just stood there in shock, it almost felt like she was teasing me. I mustered up the will to ask "why did you betray me?" in a low voice. It was another betrayal, betrayals that I am most scared of.

I gritted my teeth and clenched my fists. "Fine! I will make you regret this!" I screamed at her.

Ian finally spoke, "Dude you are too noisy." He picked up a bundle of hundred dollars bills and flung them at me, "Here, take this and move on, poor fellow, it should be more than enough for you to get a girl in your league."

I ignored that bundle and walked out, slamming the door shut.

I drove down to a nearby bar and decided to drink till I was wasted.

I was on my second margarita when a woman in a black leather jacket sat down next to me.

She turned to me and offered her hand for a handshake, "I am Caitlin, Ian Hoyle's fiance."

On hearing the name Ian, my sense woke up at full alarm. I banged my head at the table "I don't want anything to do with that name!"

she retracted her hand and looked at me, "don't you wanna have your revenge?"

the word revenge got me invested and I turned to her "How?"

I had my own plan for revenge but with the help of Ian's fiance-

that's when it hit me "wait- if Ian has a fiance what the heck is he doing with my girlfriend!?"

she took a deep breath and sighed "cheating on me of course, for the third time."

I looked at her with a curious face.

she sighed again and explained, "I started dating Ian four years ago, I was deeply in love with him, but two years ago he cheated on me for the first time. when I asked him about it, he quickly confessed to his crime and blamed it on the girl saying that she was the one to seduce him. The second time happened about a year ago when he cheated on me for a whole month after I caught him and threatened him to break up, he cried and begged on his knees to forgive him, I was an idiot that forgave him. The next week he proposed to me and I accepted thinking that after getting engaged he will at least be committed to only me, sadly I was wrong."

she pulled out her phone and showed me pictures of Ian and Ella on a beach, "This was 3 months ago."

I started crying with my head lying on the table "So you mean she has been cheating on me for three months now?"

she nodded her head.

i wiped my tears and sat up "what's your plan?"
