Chapter 3:Shining at the party

As Shi Yi was leaving Aunt Marie's house,

when suddenly Aunt Marie threw at Shi Yi car keys. The car keys were keys to her expensive sports car.

Shi Yi gave Aunt Marie yet again a surprising look on her face," Aunt Marie? I can't take your sports car...and anyways you used to scold me for asking for your car keys..."

"Just use the car, besides, your make up will get disgusting when you enter the party with all that pushing and pulling on the bus and also this way it would remind you not to drink too much tonight..."

"Fine Aunt Marie...I will take the car...."

"But after this party, you should go and get a car of your own since you would be queen soon, you should dress and look like one."

"Hmm...one question before I leave, how much is there in this black golden debit card?"

"More than 1 billion dollars if I am not wrong, it's just as much as you want."

"1 billion!?"

"This money would not run out since you are going to be queen, it would just keep adding up. Alright, enough talk, you should leave now", Aunt Marie said while asking Shi Yi to the party.

"Alright bye, Aunt Marie! Talk to you later or tomorrow!", Shi Yi waved at Aunt Marie before leaving.

Aunt Marie's thoughts," I just love her as a granddaughter even though she does not call me grandma but I still feel that connection with her....(sigh)....if only her parents and grandfather were still alive, she would not have so many responsibilities."

Shi Yi went out of Aunt Marie main gate and sees the car, being untouched like brand new.The interior of the car was lined with luxurious leather and decorated to fit a wealthy person.

Shi Yi's thoughts: "OMG how would she have such a nice car and how did my parents have this black golden card? And why did they kept this secret that I am the vampire princess all these years,agh....never mind I will ask all my questions again later."

She enters the car and turned on the engine."broom.....broom.....", the car made.

Shi Yi was smiling away, "This is splendid! I need to get one of these cars when I get home"

Shi Yi's thoughts, "I would also need to buy a new house like Aunt Marie's as my neighbors are just so annoying every day..."

Shi Yi finally reached Five Seasons hotel. While she was driving, she felt like eyes were on her.

Shi Yi's thoughts, "These people need to mind their own business and stop staring at me!"

As Shi Yi walk into the hotel, she saw familiar faces from high school and university. She pretended she did not see them and walk in like a princess.

"Oh isn't this the loser in high school, now you have the money to buy diamonds? Did you rob a bank or find a man to become your sugar daddy?"Ming Shan said.A bunch of bullies who were next to Ming Shan and bullied Shi Yi in the past,started to laugh at Shi Yi. Shi Yi did not care what they said and went to the party venue.

Ming Shan was one of the bullies that bullied Shi Yi when she was still high school.Ming Shan just started to hate her ever since she realised that she was too popular around guys.Shi Yi's beauty just captivates all the men in her high school in the past and Ming Shan did not like that at all.That was when the bullying started until the end of Shi Yi high school.

————AT THE PARTY VENUE————

When Shi Yi entered the party venue(ballroom 150), everyone was staring at her with shock. Shi Yi looked around to find Wang Ying Yue and she found her.

Shi Yi walked towards Ying Yue, "Hello Ying Yue!"

"Oh, finally you are here! I was getting bored already!"

Ying Yue looked at Shi Yi dress, "Holy Shit, you look good in this dress and the makeup hair....you just look good in all areas today!"

"Thank you, Ying Yue"

Wang Ying Yue started pulling Lee Shi Yi's arm, "Come on let's go and meet the guests."

As Shi Yi was pulled away by Ying Yue, they went to talk to the guests but in most conversations, Shi Yi wasn't talking. Shi Yi glanced around the room to see the guests and suddenly to her shock, she saw someone really familiar like a celebrity. It was Ling Su Han!

"!!!"

Shi Yi whispered to Ying Yue, "Do you know Ling Su Han?"

"Of course, I know him not because of just work but I know him as he was one of my university friends."

Shi Yi whispered again, "He studied at the University of Dark in City A,right?"

Ying Yue whispered back, "Yes and I was his classmate too. We studied in the same course."

As they were approaching Su Han, Shi Yi and Su Han glanced at each other.

Ying Yue said, "Shi Yi this is Su Han, my university friend and Su Han this is my childhood friend Shi Yi.

Shi Yi gave a shy look to Su Han," Hello."Su Han did not respond but instead both kept looking at each other non-stop.

Su Han's thoughts: "This woman feels familiar from somewhere, I cannot pinpoint from where but she smells and feels familiar.

Shi Yi's thoughts: "Aunt Marie was right, he really did came for this party but he doesn't look like what I thought he would.Pale skin, red eyes and fangs not visible. Maybe he is like me, taking over the throne and have not gotten his powers yet too? I will never know...."

Ying Yue saw that they have been looking at each other for a long time.

Ying Yue waved at both of them, "Friends? Are you guys alright? Do you need water or rest?"

Shi Yi blushed, "No, I don't need water, I am just going to the balcony to get some fresh air. I got a little tired of meeting so many people today..."

Right after Shi Yi leaves, Ying Yue starts asking Su Han," Su Han, why did you guys stare at each other for so long?"

Su Han reply with a cold voice,"It's none of your business"

Ying Yue gave Su Han a look annoyance, "How is it not my business? That's my best friend and the daughter of the late Lee Cooperation's CEO Lee Bing Wen's daughter you are talking about!"

Ling Su Han gave Wang Ying Yue a look of disbelief, "How can she be the daughter of that late CEO? Besides it's not just that made me tick...."

"Than what else did she made your vampire senses tick?"

"When I glanced at her, I just felt like I know her from somewhere and I cannot pinpoint where exactly but I definitely feel like she is someone I know."

Ying Yue rebuttal with, "But you have just met her just today and you say you know her? Maybe your vampire instincts are wrong as she cannot be that girl can she?"

"I don't really know anymore anyway I need to have some fresh air from all this madness...", Ling Su Han said while walking to where Shi Yi last went.
