Chapter 39

Valente and Suni sat near a frozen lake. No words were being said, she sat on his laps, he sat cross-legged, leaning his back against a tree in a comfortable silence as he played with her black hair and white ears.

"Stop thinking for a while and relax. You're thinking too much, dumbass."

"Hm...but if I relax I might sleep." Her eyes watered.

Valente sighed and left her hair alone. How to cheer her up? "He thought."

"Look at me." He said.

She looked up at him only to receive a sweet kiss on both her teary eyes and then all over her face. She giggled. That was all it took to make her smile, he giggled with her. Her ears stood up as she pecked his shaved cheek and poked it afterward. He kissed and bit her neck slightly causing her breath to hitch. She tilted her neck and jolted making the redhead raise his eyebrows.

"It-It tickles in a weird way when you do that." She puckered her lips.
