Dark Force (Chapter 6, newfound power)

Horu woke up with fiery eyes and said the words

Horu: My heart has been set ablaze.

Drakon laughed in excitement and said

Drakon: ITS PERFECT, YOU FUSED PERFECTLY WITH THE FRUIT and it doesn't seem that you have any side effects, also, your elemental affinity is fire, very fitting for a person like you.

Horu: Wow! it feels great.

Drakon: Now, in order to tap into the power, imagine everything being engulfed by flames, everything burning up and turning to ashes, imagine yourself burning everything down, those type of emotions are needed to awaken the fire spirit.

Horu did exactly as Drakon said and he started to emit enormous amounts of heat from his body, he then got an idea to add his rage mode boost to what he was doing and he started to not only emit vast amounts of heat but actual flames too.

This completely amazed Drakon as he had never trained a person with this type of power and talent, but, as he thought of that his mind got sent back to one of his students, another who also wielded a dark soul but turned evil.

Horu then powered down and noticed that most of the things around him was burnt by his flames and he was freed of the little earth confinement he was in.

Drakon then told Horu to get some rest and said that they would continue training the next day.

Horu did as Drakon said and went inside to get some rest. He asked Pete were he would be sleeping and he was directed to his new room. But as he was entering his room, he saw the room that Yura was being treated in and decided to check up on her.

He was happy yet sad at the same time because if it wasn't for him going to the town of Biskra, Yura would still be okay. He teared up a bit and knelt beside the bed of Yura, he then started to repeat the words, "I'm sorry" with tears running down his face. Then, he heard a slight sound that sounded like someone saying his name.

"Horu, it's... okay, you.... don't need to....be so hard..... on yourself".

He looked up to see Yura with her eyes slightly opened and smiling. He got up and saw Yura smiling with joy. He started to cry profusely but he was happy at the same time. Yura then said softly

Yura: I feel sleepy Horu, good night, see you tomorrow

Horu: *crying like a dinosaur stole his mom* o-ok Yura, g-g-good night.

Horu then left Yura alone and went to his room to rest.

The following day, Drakon woke up to a loud banging noise outside, when he went outside he saw Horu using a large 2 ton rock as a weight whilst doing push ups, Drakon was completely amazed because he had never seen a Denkali with this much will to get stronger before.

Drakon then intervened with what he was doing and told him;

Drakon: Why don't you train your elemental affinity instead? it's very useful in combat as well.

Horu: Thanks Drakon I'll try and train that too.

Horu smiled and Drakon went on with his daily morning routine.

Horu: *breathes out* imagine all the pain and rage, imagine a fire destroying your heart, imagine I was ONE with THE FLAME.

After saying that, loads of new ideas popped into his mind on how he could make his flames effective in battle.

Horu: Let me try this out

Horu constantly generated heat in his palms and after some time he released it. BOOM! he was sent flying into the sky. He did the same thing but this time with his feet whilst in the air and BOOM he was flying through the sky like a rocket. He continued to do this until he got the hang of it.

Horu: YES!! Flight acquired!!

He observed the little forest that they were in and later flew back to Drakon's house like nothing really happened.

Pete, looking tired because he just woke up from his slumber. He asked Horu if he wanted to cook with him and Horu agreed.

Pete: Today! we will be preparing some goat stew.

Horu: Goat?

Pete: Yes goats, why are you asking?

Horu: No reason.

Pete: Dangit! I'm going to have to set up a fire. it's such a hassle.

Horu: Don't worry, I got you! *smile*

Horu then used his flames to light up the stove, he went a bit overboard since he wasn't used to using his flames at a small level but he knew that this would help him get more control over his flames.

He helped Pete to cook the goat meat and anything that involved the use of heat or fire. and when the meal was finished, they plated it in some odd looking plates and sent it out of the kitchen. Drakon loved the smell of the goat meat Pete prepared and he loved the taste of it even more. He rushed to the boys and said;

Drakon: Uhh, as you already know I'm going to study the effect this meat has on the environment and how I can safely devour it without any problems. BYEEE!!!

Pete and Horu laughed it off and went outside to eat. But when Horu took a bite of the goat meat he felt weird, and then he entered into a weird state, he started to shape shift into different people with different colored hair and eyes but in his mind he heard a devilish voice.

Voice: You must find the others, The Dark Order is closer than you think, you MUST GROW STRONGER!.
