Chapter 47: Pamper Me More

Kait woke up to an empty space as she stared at the side of the bed Alfred had slept on.

"Where did he go?" She yawned feeling tired and got out of bed. Opening Alfred's wardrobe, she took one of his shirts and shorts and put them on before leaving the room.

"Alfred..." She called as she descended the stairs.

"I'm here," Alfred answered back and Kait followed the direction of his voice to the kitchen.

Entering the Kitchen, the first thing her eyes caught was the wall clock and she rolled her eyes in surprise. It was already six pm and she couldn't believe she slept for this long. Ah! I guess she exhausted herself.

"Why didn't you wake me up?" She said with pouted lips as she stretched her tired body.

"Well, I only woke up about an hour ago and I knew you needed rest so I just let you sleep more."

Rubbing her face with her palm, "You should wake me up next time, okay?" She said and Alfred nodded.
