Pill God?!

Getting up with a mighty yawn and a powerful stretch, I realized I only slept for one hour, but I'm completely refreshed. Perhaps because I'm now a cultivator, I require much less sleep and one day soon I won't need to sleep at all! That will be a great day. Okay enough pumping myself up, I need to go buy the pill ingredients for Purify Pill and Foundation Stabilizer Pill. For the Purify Pill, I require sage, ginger, ginseng, and water. Wait seriously?! No heavenly ingredients I've never heard of? Where's the romance? Where's the hunt for herbs on the side of some obscure mountain? And for the Foundation Stabilizer Pill, I require ginseng, sage, ghost pepper, mint, and water?! Eh?! Error 404. Does not compute! Blushing I go onto Zomazon on my Dudroid Fantasy and add all of the ingredients to my cart for a whopping $200. Wow so cheap! I mean I bought large quantities of each item too! After I'm preparing for failures. I selected same day delivery, and was surprised when the door bell rang 2 hours later. It couldn't be right?! But it was. My packages arrived. I confirmed everything was there and went inside to my parents garage. This'll be my lab of sorts, after all they never go in here.

Turning on the garage lights, I went to the center of the garage and laid out my ingredients on the floor. Sitting in the lotus position, I then used my qi to levitate some of the ingredients into the air and began the process for making a Purify Pill. Compressing the ingredients into paste or powder, I then pressed them together in the air and summoned my spirit fire. Performing a series of complicated hand seals, I finally exhaled in disbelief as 20 flawless pills floated down into my lap. Peak Grade Pills! All of them! No imperfections! Each pill will purify me of 100% of impurities in each stage of each realm! These are true treasures! Am I a Pill God?!

Supposedly, because when I did the process for the Foundation Stabilizer Pill, the results were identical. No flaws! Perfect pills again! This is cheating! Laughing in excitement, I quickly took one of each pill five minutes in between starting with the Purify Pill. Impurities purged, and foundation stabilized! Such astonishing skills! This is too incredible for words! What's more, when I was bored earlier, I decided to attempt to memorize the English/Chinese Dictionary. The results were staggering. Photographic memory, and flawless reading comprehension and pronunciation! I'm a cheater!

After calming down, I remembered that I promised Mei that I'd visit her dojo today. Packing up my ingredients, I went upstairs and put them away, and hid my pills in my room before taking a shower. Once done, I headed out the door and got in the Jeep. Putting in the address on the vehicle's computer, I headed to the dojo. Stopping on the way for gas and some green tea, I continued my journey and 15 minutes later I arrived in the parking lot of the Flying Lotus Dojo.

Sending a text letting Mei know that I'm here, I got out of the Jeep, and before I made it five feet I heard Mei's voice. "Devin you made it! Welcome to Flying Lotus Dojo! Master Fung is waiting inside!" Smiling at her enthusiasm, I followed her to the door where I slipped off my shoes and switched to indoor shoes. Walking inside my senses were immediately alerted, and I ducked. Suddenly I looked up and saw an old man standing in front of me in a set of ancient looking martial arts robes.

With a impressed look on his face and stroking his long white beard, the old man spoke. "Hoh.. so Mei didn't exaggerate after all. You truly are a prodigy. To be able to defeat my best disciple. I'm intrigued. Now I'm curious on who your master is.. Never mind. Mei prepare tea for our guest!" Mei bowed before swiftly exiting the room. I sized up Master Fung before following him to have a seat on the floor in front of a mahogany table. Minutes later Mei returned and performed an elegant tea ceremony for me. Master Fung grabbed his tea cup and bowed to me. I grabbed mine and reciprocated. Ah it is great tea! Smiling after taking a sip, Master Fung visibly relaxed and then chuckled.

"Good, good! You even know how to enjoy good tea, and have excellent manners! It is my life's honor to meet one such as yourself. No one under the rank of Grand Master has been able to dodge my blow. A Grand Master in his 20's! Monstrous! I Fung Wei am greatly honored to know you Devin Johnson!" Master Fung saluted me again, and we indulged in idle chat for a good hour before Mei interrupted. "Master can I please borrow Devin? I was hoping he could accompany me today." Master Fung chuckled before nodding his head, and I got up and followed her out the door. Mei then turned to me and said, "Let's go to the mall! A new Chinese clothing store opened up there, and I want to pick out some outfits for you. I'm sure you'd look fantastic in traditional Chinese clothing." Feeling the color leaving my face, my soul vanished as I drove Mei to the mall. Oh God why did it have to be clothes shopping with a woman?!

Before long we reached the mall, and got out of the Jeep walking to the entrance. Once inside the two of us became the center of attention rapidly. "Look at those two! A match made in heaven!" "Oh my God that guy is too handsome, is he even real?!" "I have to pee." Wait one of these is not like the others! Forget it. Mei and I swiftly made our way to the back of the mall and at last reached 'Aunty Pei's Clothing Store'. Stepping inside, I saw many modern looking outfits, as well as traditional ones. Mei excitedly grabbed my hands and dragged me over to the changing room. She then said, "Go inside! I'll bring you clothes to try on!"

And so a hellish 5 hours of trying on outfit after outfit began. Eventually Mei settled on 6 outfits and paid to my consternation. Dragging me out the door, she rushed me to the food court where we ordered Chinese, and at last sat down. Physically I'm at 100%, but oh my God mentally... Never again! Once we finished our food, I dropped Mei back off at the dojo, and headed home for the day. Once inside, I threw my clothes in a corner of my room and collapsed onto my bed for 10 whole minutes before I sat up and began to cultivate. Today was an interesting day again to say the least. I'm a Pill God and a prodigy in cultivating. My martial arts were measured by a Grand Master at the Grand Master level, but somehow I know it's much higher than that. Either way, today is over, and I must rest. I didn't break through a realm, nor did I go up a stage, so it seems it'll take me a while to rank up again. Good. I'd be disappointed if I became a God within the month. Anyway, it's bed time. For an hour right?
