An Epic Match

Looking into the eyes of Mei, I realized she's dead set on having a match with me. This is great, I can also try out the second martial art known as Dragon Devouring Fist! Smiling at her, I quickly lowered my stance into Buddha Palm Becoming The Mountain. Backing up another ten feet Mei's aura increased sharply before she flew in at an absurd speed for a mortal. My eyes dilating, I focused on her hands and feet, and in my accelerated world, I saw her lifting her right leg off of the ground and preparing for a full body rotation that would have landed her leg slamming into my left side. However, my left palm moved into position, as time went back to normal and I deflected her kick away from my left rib. With pure shock and elation on her face, Mei resumed a fighting stance before darting forth again, this time aiming to slide between my legs to get behind me. However will I allow this?

Quickly lowering my stance to the ground, I caught Mei into my arms and did a quick backflip before slamming her onto the ground. Spinning away from her about twenty feet away, I quickly turn around, only to find her out cold on the ground. Face palming, I quietly walk over, preparing for a sneak attack, but none arrives. Realizing I actually knocked out the poor beauty, I carefully set her head on my lap as I sit down against a tree and wait for her to wake up. Damn I didn't even get to use Dragon Devouring Fist yet! Ten minutes later Mei began to stir.

Slowly opening her eyes, she grabbed her head and groaned a little before looking at my face. Giving her a kind smile, I watched as her face rapidly became crimson and she darted away from me. Turning her back to me hand putting her hands to her chest, she looked back shyly before saying, "R-rematch! I want a rematch!" Grinning widely, I nodded my head and said, "Okay let's begin!".

Getting into our respective stances, Mei looked at me in surprise as I looked like I was getting ready to do an energy blast from a certain anime with spiked haired people. Shaking her head with a smile, Mei came rushing in for an upper cut, and I focused power into both of my fists before slamming them both forth to her stomach and shouting, "Dragon Devouring Fist!'. With a loud boom, Mei rocketed through the air and was about to smash her back into a tree but I used my movement technique Dragon Diving Through Clouds, and flew through the air passed her and kicked off the tree before catching her in my arms. Landing on the ground and sliding for a dozen meters, I finally came to a stop. Looking down I saw Mei looking up at me with a rapt look and sparkling eyes. Shit, I think I conquered the beauty, please be legal! Setting her down, I looked at her and as casually as possible asked, "Mei, I forgot to ask but how old are you?". Looking at me with a grin on her face, Mei puffed out her proud chest and said, "I am 21 years old as of today! I can finally drink! Yay!" Shaking my head in disbelief, and sighing in relief, I decided it's time to move on.

"Mei I'm 28 years old and my name is Devin Johnson. I am very pleased to meet you, and I very much enjoyed our spar." Grabbing out my cellphone, I opened my contacts before saying, "Let's exchange numbers, I'd love to do this again in the future and hang out some time." Mei grew excited before touching her phone to mine, and we added each others numbers. Sending each other a greeting text, we then both put our phones away.

Yawning, Mei looked at the time before gasping and saying, "Oh no! It's already this late? I must go home before grandma and grandpa skin me alive! I hope to see you again tomorrow! I will text you the address of my dojo, so please do stop bye okay?" Chuckling I watched Mei run up a tree, before disappearing. Well, I've done what I came for here, and unexpectedly got a beauty as a friend. Score one for Team Devin!

Climbing into the Jeep, I turned towards home, and ten minutes later I pulled into the driveway. Getting out, I smiled as I thought about tonight's encounter, and headed inside the house. Walking in, I headed up stairs and into my bedroom before beginning to cultivate. Unlike in the light novels that I'd read where earth's spiritual energy was low, the truth is the energy is massive! Even as I suck in vast amounts of qi while cultivating, I don't sense even a remote change in the volume around me. 3 hours later, at 5 am, I stopped for the night, because I've broken through to the Foundation Establishment Realm! I can now summon spirit fire for pill forging! I won't be able to make treasures and talismans until Qi Refining Realm, but now I can begin practicing pill forging!

Looking through my mental manual, I found a pill recipe for Purify Pill, and Foundation Stabilizer Pill. I'll collect the ingredients in the morning. As for a pill forge? No need, I will just use my spirit fire. I'm looking forward to tomorrow! Laying down on my bed, I went over my day, and realized that I was beginning to look like the male lead of a Chinese light novel. Heh. Anyway, today was epic. I became an immortal cultivator, met a peerless beauty and got her number with her asking to meet me tomorrow. I had an epic, but short battle with her and I broke through two realms today. All in all, a very busy and fantastical day. Here's to tomorrow! Now it's time to rest.
