Chapter 2

Thank you for giving me a second chance. Now the chapters maybe short so I'm sorry for that. i don't have a long attention span and gets distracted and bored easily. Thank you for the comments i appreciate it.

A few days later, we heard the sound of heavy boots walking towards our MC cell. After a few moments, the boots stopped making noise and the person wearing them stands in front of the cell. "Open it up" The guard said. The other guard reaches for the keys and unlocks the cells door. "Bring the moon elf, it's time for the ritual". The guard unshackles the chains and drags our MC across the ground.

Our MC continues to look lifelessly until they passed a certain area and our boy grabs a bone he had hidden last time they took him. It took him weeks to sharpen the bone and plant it somewhere close but hidden. He slowly reached for the bone and hid it within his clothes. After reaching another area where there were no people, he decided to act.

Even though he doesn't care anymore and wants to die. He figured he might as well go out with a bang. This is only possible due to the other prisoners giving him more food for the last few weeks that he has built up enough strength to pull this off. This of course meant their deaths but the moon elf despite never talking always tried to help them in some way. So they in return decided to help him.

In a quick but unnoticed moment. He grabbed the dagger and quickly but silently stabbed the guards throat and before he could make a sound, covered his mouth. Our MC grabbed the knife and yanked it out and jumped towards the other Evilus guard and proceeded to repeat the process.

After a few minutes our boy was able to calm down and regain his breath. The first thing he did was hide the bodies underneath some corpses. He also took the armor and clothes and hid them. He would of wanted to wear the armor to blend in easier but sadly, he is too short. There was no map or anything on them and only had a few keys that he was able to plunder. For now he should stick to the shadows and unlock all the cells while he can. It's not much but it's the least he can do.

Luckily the guards were only level 1 and not very experienced that he was able to succeed. He knew luck was on his side but dared not to fully relied on it. He knew he was screwed if he runs into an experienced level 1 or god forbid anyone one higher.

Our boy continued to make his way around the building and eventually found a store room. He tried several keys until finally it open. He quickly went inside and saw a bunch of weapons and armor. He heard some noises and hid inside a closet that was near the back and wait. The store room door opened an two guards walked in. "Are you sure you heard something over here" Guard number 1 said. Guard number 2 just nodded his head and then left. Guard number one was confused but shrugged it off.

Meanwhile our boy was thinking of different ways to escape and finally thought of a crazy way. He waited another 10 minutes before he left the closet and looked around and found a bow that he grabbed and a huge bundle of rope. He wrapped it around himself and got ready to leave. He slowly sneaked out and sticked to the shadows.

He continued to walk around slowly for another hour until he found what he was looking for a ladder. He slowly looked around and found no one around. He quickly climbed up the ladder and got access to the roof. First thing he noticed was that the area was surrounded by tree's which will make his plan of escape easier. He walked quietly to the chimney and tied the rope around it securely. He tied the other end of the rope to one of the arrows and shot it into the trees making a zipline. He was surprised it worked so well and thought he might have failed.

As he was preparing to slide he heard a scream "Someone's on the roof escaping". Our boy panicked and rushed to the zipline. Ashe was getting closer to the trees, he felt two impacts on his back and looked behind. He saw two arrows sticking out of his back. He gritted his teeth and finally managed to enter the forest. He took a second to control his breathing and removed the two arrows quickly. He took of his shirt and made an emergency bandage temporary to stop the bleeding.

He then proceed to branch hop between branches to not make as much of a trial. He continued to run even when he heard footsteps and horses coming after him. He knew if he stopped it would be his end.
