1km Ladder

Noah shook his and then closed his eyes to take a nap, that was never his problem. 

"Gather around!" Their instructor shouted and all the kids went in line. "Follow me. The day of recording is here!" The kid followed him.

"We are going to Floating Feather Mountain, a place where you will start being Squire! Carry the backpack"

There were 189 backpacks on one side that were half the size of each one. Checking everyone has his own, and they carried them.

By then the kids were already trembling after seeing what was needed for them to be done. They aren't going to jump but rather cross a ladder that connects the cliff to another mounting about 1000m away.

The bridge was made of ropes and flanks of wood, it swayed with the wind and one can even see the ropes aren't new and half torn.

"Jog to the other side!" Every kid took a deep breath, Noah was a bit impressed by the order but he didn't move. He wanted to know who among these cry babies was going to brave the danger.

Shone June took a deep breath and then pushed Nile For3ard, Nile turned with a kick but shone ducked and moved away. Seeing the Instructor glaring at him, Nile moved and looked down the cliff. It was about 451m off the ground.

He observed the nature of the bridge and swallowed hard. He then walked to it and grabbed one of the ropes and to his may the bridge away back and forth. He knew just staining on it will be hard to do it swaying.

"I say, jog your way to the other side!" The instructor said with mild anger. At the same time, the town's folks came and watched the trainees.

Unexpectedly, Noah was pushed forward, he tumbled and turned around with a glare. He found Shone June mixing with the kids. The truth was, they only wanted someone to lead and see how he was fair.

Some are even thinking that this was just a scam but what if it was real and they moved forward and they died for nothing? Isn't it better to quit right now?

Noah shook his head, and looking up he met the Instructor's gaze. He sighed and then began to jog forward, he landed in the flank and he continued as if he passed the bridge a thousand times. Even the instructor was surprised by that but knowing this anomaly his gaze landed on the Nile.

The crowd cheers as Noah reaches the other side. Nile gained some courage and then went to step on the bridge. But, it swayed more and he fell himself falling. He was forced to take a step back.

But then others came and tested but all moved back because the bridge was behaving up and down, they will fall down if they aren't careful.

Suddenly, Mansa Musa ran on it, he was afraid but the bridge stabilized and swayed whenever he slowed down. Shone June went next and then many more.

Most of the kids understand that if one walks slowly the bridge sways but if you are running it stabilizes. That's how the bridge was made.

The moment Noah reached the other side, he met with a man that handed him a water bottle.

"You saw those twin hills, go back and forth till you can't move!" The old man said.

Noah nodded. He was amazed at the part of the world he was now. The place is strange as there are a lot of tall tops that have their tops shaved flat. On it were some farm animals, and crop farms and some were just plain fields. And the only way to track between these hilltops was through the bridge. The same kind of rope bridge.

The hilltops Noah was shown are 1 km apart and the hilltop was flat about 50 m in diameter with some grass on them. However, he saw another hilltop of the same arrangement but we were 3k, 4km, 5, and even one at the bur far which was 10km.

'Finally, this is interesting!' Noah ran to reach the twin Hilltop and ran to the other one, up in coming back he felt the difference.

Because he was carrying weight on top of his weight there was this pull that he was feeling. As if he held a magnate and below him was a massive iron that was pulling him.

First round, Noah rested for 12secinds and he observed the bridge and the 1k distance. Second round, it was a bit hard, then third round, fourth round and on with round seth was forced to read for 12 minutes.

Even the lowest ranking can run a marathon but now, only 4k and he was beginning to tire out. But Noah continued.
