Unprepared Encounter

Kenshin's P.O.V:

I got a call from Sukoh while I'm grilling some beef for Lycoon and me. "Hello," I answered the call. "Just wanna check on both of you." He said with all his concern. "We are having a camping night and I'm currently grilling. Wanna come over? If you want please bring the others too." I said excitedly. "Woah, when did you ever become so excited about camping?" Sukoh was shocked at my actions. "Well, Lycoon made me do it. So come over and bring the others to play with my son. Lycoon will be glad." I kind of ordered him.

"We will catch up but I can't promise I can invite the whole gang." He said and was about to hang up when he remembered something. "Wait before we end the call Kenshin a big magazine wants to feature on their special issue for the upcoming month." Sukoh reminded me like he is my secretary. "I'll check on it tomorrow, my concern right now is this camping to be fun for Lycoon." I said not minding the business.

I don't really care about interviews because it socks and now that Lycoon is in my life interviews really become my least priority. "Do you want me to book the meeting tomorrow for you so you will meet them personally?" Sukoh asked. "It will be a good introduction to your new Hotel's grand opening," Sukoh suggested so I agreed with him. "Alright book me a meeting with them." I agree to the meeting.

After an hour Sukoh, Ran, and his brother arrived along with Ken, Takahiro, and his sisters with Emily and Sandra. We play with Lycoon like real campers. Lycoon had so much fun and I'm so glad he didn't look for his mother this day because I don't know what kind of alibi will I be telling again. We ended the night by sleeping in tents and I took a photo of Lycoon sleeping with his cat.

I arrived at my office at exactly eight in the morning. I call Lycoon on his phone and I heard him laughing at the other line. "My baby seems very happy." I said to catch his attention. "Uncle Ken is here daddy. Look." He said and requested for a videocall. I open the cam and saw them cooking, he looks cute on his chef hat. "You miss Lycoon awready?" Lycoon asked my while tasting the marinara sauce.

"Yes baby. Daddy misses you so much." I answered him and he giggles. "We will make pizza for you." Lycoon told me happily. "Aww my baby is now a chef?" I cheerfully asked him and he nodded happily. Ken then said hi to the camera. "I'll take care of him because Emily had an errand. Her brothers arrived already and she needs to pick them up on the airport." Ken said. "I see. Thank you for your time." I thanked him for helping Emily and Lycoon on such errand.

My secretary enters and told me that the magazine staffs are already here. "Ken I have to hang up the meeting is about to start. Please take care of him." I said to Ken and he nodded and calls Lycoon. "Hey son daddy has to go now. The meeting is about to start. I'll call you once the meeting is done okay?" I said bye to him and he waves bye to me before ending the call.

"Take care daddy." Lycoon said and ended the call. I fixed my suit and tie perfectly as I wait for the staffs to enter. This will be another round of a boring briefing of interviews so I must be prepared. "You can invite them in now." I ordered my secretary and sit comfortably on my chair.

My secretary enters first after going up to open the door for them so I stood up to greet them. I ready myself to meet them with my most fierce look the one that scares everyone so I can shoo them away. But I was wrong to the thought of shooing them away when I saw who is entering my office. I think this deal will be exciting.

A woman enters my property with a nude stiletto echoing the aura of a queen. She wears a black fitted dress, very professional and sexy. Her scent smells so sweet and floral I know that smell very well. Her make up are not over stated more on nude colors but her boss aura said it all. She have changed a lot since that day.

I'm meeting my son's mom today. She is infront of me like we are a complete stranger. Her eyes looks at me so proud but smiles to me so sweet. Does she know that my son is with me now? Does she know what her mother did? What does it feel now that I am infront of you? How have you been? Do you still remember who I am to you? Huh Kitty?

I can't believe we will meet at a very unexpected moment. She acts so professional and calm that I can't find any answers on the questions popping on my head. Questions are clouding my brain but I still manage to introduced myself like I didn't know her either. Let's play your game kitty.

"Nice to have you at my office. I'm Kenshin." I offered a handshake and I smiled at her devilishly. I catch her eyes and look at her like I'm eyeing my prey. I didn't let go of our eye contact and so does she.

She accepts my offered handshake and introduced herself. Her hands feels so warm like before.

"Nice to meet you, Mr. Kenshin. I am from Semicolon Magazine. My name is Amaya I will be the Chief Director incharge with your featuring in our special caption of our magazine. I hope we can work together in a good environment." Amaya introduced herself very well mannered.

"Have a sit please." I said playing my role too.

"Thank you." She said and sit sexily on my offered sit.

"So what's the deal?" I asked playing boss to her little play.

I guess playing stranger is a lot fun with Amaya.
