Hello little Kenshin!

Kenshin's P.O.V:

"Hey, kid! What's your name?" I asked him while we are in the car. "Lycoon." He just simply answered and munch the biscuits in his hands not minding me again. Tsk such a stubborn little brat. I didn't speak too as he doesn't utter any word after we speak. "Hey! Shin talk to the kid so you'll learn how to take care of him." Ken told me and I looked up at him so confused.

"Don't give me that look, Idiot. Tsk. This kid is exactly just like you won't talk if not asked won't talk if not bribed." He said while his eyebrows frowned. I look at the outside and collect myself. How would I fucking talk to a kid? I don't even know how to start a lame conversation with an adult and now you want me to talk to a kid?

I look at the kid and the kid exchanged gazes with me. His innocent eyes are so cute. His face looks exactly like mine but a little softer than mine. Maybe because he's younger than me or he got those angelic features from his mom. The kid tugged my polo so I got back from my senses. He smiled at me and offer me some of the biscuits.

"You wamp shome?" He muffled a baby talk. Maybe he's so shy to interact with me. I smiled at him and ruffled his hair. I took the biscuits from his small hands. "Daddy will take care of you while mom is away okay?" I told him feeling some warmth in my heart. This is weird. I motion for him to come with me and he gladly gave his both arms to me.

He looks so fragile. "So what does little Lycoon likes to do with his free time?" I asked him while kissing the top of his head. "Lycoon onwy pways. But I wamp mama weading stowies on my fwee time." He answers me excitedly. "Is it okay if daddy will be the one reading stories while mama is away?" I asked him and he nodded then look at me. "What's youw name?" He asked me while smiling.

"I'm Kenshin and I am your dad," I explained to him, he looks at me tilting his head left and right. "I nevew knew daddy." He answered me and I feel sudden pain in his statement. "Mama sawd daddy can't be with us." He said again. Her mother's beautiful face flashes into my sight. How dare you tell this to my son?

"But daddy is here now," I told him and hug him tight. He hugs me too, he is so warm. "Will you pway with me?" He asked me suddenly while hugging me. I nodded as a response. "I think it's fun. My Nanny pways with hew son. But mama can't pway with Lycoon." He said so I asked him why?

"Wowa said to wowk and wowk hard. If not I will be thrown away and wowa will hit mama." He explained and I think he is about to cry so I caress his back so he will feel okay. "I wish fow you so someone will save mama. Will you save mama?" He asked me. And I nodded. "No one will hurt Lycoon and mama now," I said and thinks of her mother's innocent face. What just happened to you?

"I wike yow hair. It's white and long." He compliments me. "Daddy's hair once like you too," I said to him. "Weally?" He said and giggled. I nodded and caress his hair. Its thick locks and raven black hair are exactly just like mine before. "Daddy?" He calls me and I hummed as a reply.

"I'm sweepy." Lycoon yawns and hug my neck tight. "Okay sleep for a while daddy will wake you up later," I said while caressing his back. I looked up at Sukoh. "Did I hear it right Kenshin? His grandmother is hurting his mother." Sukoh said confused and looking serious. "Yes and that concerns me the most," I answered him. "Do you ever know where that girl came from? Her whereabouts?" Ran asked me. I shook my head as a response.

"I just met her at a bar as far as I can remember," I responded to him. "I think you should now run a background check on her. Especially you two have a child." Sukoh speaks. "I will. But as of now, my main focus is on how will I raise this child. I don't even know how to properly carry a child." I reply to him. "We will help you out don't worry." Ken then assured me.

We arrived at the mall and Lycoon is still sleeping. I woke him up and he open his cute little eyes. He yawns and cries so I freak out. "Mommy!" He cries out loud. I didn't know what to do. What am I supposed to do?

"Carry him already." Ran told me so I do what I was told. I carry him to go out of the car and pat his back gently. "Shh! Daddy's here." I told him and he slowly stopped crying. I wiped his tears and he looks at me. He didn't utter a word he hangs on to my neck again. "It's alright. Come on we're here now at the mall as I promised you. I'm here." I told to my kid not even knowing what to say.

"Maybe he's hungry now. We should have some food." Ran suggested and I agreed. "But what food are we going to feed him?" I asked. "Maybe some mashed potato will do," Ken suggested. "Okay then let's find a restaurant," I replied and look for the restaurant.

Luckily we found a not-so-crowded restaurant. I'm afraid he might gonna lose his temper and got annoyed at the crowd and cry again. I will not know what to do anymore. We ordered our food and start eating. I think he likes his food as he is smiling. "Hawve sowm too." Lycoon offers me. He looks so adorable.

While we are eating a woman with nasty big boobs that almost popped out on her so-fitted short dress came over to us. "Hey! Kenshin right?" She flirtatiously asked and I just nodded out of interest. I hid Lycoon on my back as I don't want him to see anything disturbing sight like what was in front of me.

"We will have a big pool party later. It will be our pleasure to have you later." She said almost moaning each of her words and hand me the invitation. I looked at Sukoh gesturing to get it for me so he did. The slut smiled and talk shits again. "You too boys come over to our party and have a blast on us." She said with a meaningful grin. Sukoh just looked at her with a "meh" face and his dull eyes are just telling her that he was not interested at all.

"So Kenshin! We will be expecting you tonight?" She asked so excitedly that her breast is bouncing in overjoy. "Nah! Have other plans later." I declined the invitation and she frowns. "What plan?" She asked feeling disappointed. "Not your business." I plainly told her. "But-" She's gonna try to convince me again but I cut her off.

"Get out of my sight. I'm not interested." I sternly told her and snatched the invitation to Sukoh and throw it in her face. I'm really not in the good shape today. My head is still heavy from the hangover and the earlier revelation. And to top up that stress I have a kid to figure out how to take care of.

The girl didn't try to utter a word again when I gave her death glares. She walks away in embarrassment when she found out that everyone is looking at her now. "Not in the good mood?" Ran asked me. "How in the earth will I be in a good mood today?" I asked him sarcastically and he laughs. "Calm down dude that's not very you." Ran pointed at my attitude today.

Yeah! This isn't very me. I'm shaky and out of the mood. I continue feeding Lycoon not bothering to answer Ran anymore. "Maybe he's in a state of shock that he now has a baby," Ken said understanding the situation. I nodded at his statement. "Okay, okay let's buy this Cutie his needs, and let's go home," Ran said and pinch Lycoon in the cheek. Lycoon smiles at him.

We finished eating and we go shopping. Seems like Lycoon is not interested in shopping even when we go to the toy section. But when we go to the book section his face lit up. "Do you want books?" I asked him and he just nodded shyly. I bought him a lot of books, lots of toys and anything he needs. We arrived and the feeding bottle section.

"Miss, can you give a bottle for a 2-year-old baby?" I asked the sales lady and she offers me a lot of variations since I'm too tired to understand what on earth those bottles were for I bought it all. After I paid for everything we now go to the drugstore and I looked up at his milk rack and gave it to the pharmacist. "Can you give me milk like that?" I asked him.

"What's the brand sir?" He asked which annoys me. "Does it looks like I know it?" I asked him sarcastically and gave him a death glare. He looks at me in fear. "I'm gonna pay you whatever just find that milk and these vitamins." I scolded him. He just nodded in fear. "Give a moment sir." He said and I saw him go to the sink to open the milk rack.

We waited for like eternity and Lycoon is already yawning and rubbing his eyes. Ken is carrying him and he's reaching for me. "Wait a little more okay?" I mouthed to him and he giggles. I don't know why but maybe he finds my facial reactions funny. Tsk. Kids are really hard to read.

The pharmacist then returns with the milk and the vitamins. "Did you make sure that this is what I'm looking for?" I asked him. "Yes sir. Hundred percent sure that's what you are looking for." He answers. I paid everything in double for his service.

We got home and I feel so tired. "Hey! Shin, can you handle everything now? We have to go." Sukoh told me and I just nodded in response I don't want to talk anymore scared that I might wake up Lycoon. The three morons take their leave as I heard my security system locks everything.
