Business and Daddy Duties

Kenshin's P.O.V:

I got a very important call from my office. New investors ate coming so I have to go and meet them. But I can't just leave Lycoon. I called Ken for help. "Hey, dude!" He answered the phone. "Yeah dude I'll be getting straight I need help," I said straightforwardly. "What is it?" He asked. "I need someone to take care of Lycoon. I have urgent things to do at my office." I told him. "I'll send Emily there," Ken suggested. "Yes, please. Thank you." I said and he drops the phone.

I look at Lycoon whose playing with a ball. I don't wanna leave him. If only I can bring him to my office. "Lycoon can we talk?" I approached him and he comes to me. "What does daddy wamp to talk about?" He asked me and tilt his head to the right to see me. "Daddy needs to go to the office. I can't play with you today. Is it okay if you play with Ms. Emily she will be coming to take care of you?" I explained to him and his eyes shifted from me to the ball and I can sense that he will cry.

Then he asked me. "When will daddy go home?" He asked not looking at me. "I'll be going home later in the evening. Daddy will work as fast as I can so I can play with you okay?" I told him and he nodded. He hugs my legs and cries "Daddy promise to Lycoon you won't leave Lycoon." He cries which makes pain in my chest, I carried him and hug him. "Daddy will never leave Lycoon. Daddy will just go to work so Lycoon and daddy can buy a lot of food. Ms. Emily will take care of you and daddy will call you at lunch." I told him and he stopped crying.

"Is Ms. Emily likes Lycoon?" He asked which made me laugh. "Yes, Ms. Emily will love Lycoon. She is a nice person and she is my friend." I told him and he looked at me and then cupped my face. He kissed me on the nose. "That's a good luck kiss daddy. Make sure you go home for Lycoon." He said and that makes me wanna stay here. "Okay. Okay." I agreed with him and kiss his forehead.

In 30 minutes Emily arrived at my door steps. I opened the door for her she was holding a big teddy bear. "Hey! Kenshin how are you?" She asked with an excited tone. Yes, this is Emily always playful and cheerful. "I'm good. It's just frustrating to go to the office while I just found out about my son." I confessed to her. She taps my shoulder. "Hey, it's alright Kenshin. We can do this." She comforts me. "So where is he?" Emily looks for Lycoon. "He's on the sofa watching some kid's show," I told her and accompanied her to the living room.

"Lycoon, Ms. Emily is here." I gladly announce to him, he looks at us and runs towards me. I carried him and introduce him to Emily. "Lycoon this is Emily a friend of daddy. Say hi to her." I started to introduce Emily to him, he looks at Emily and smiled. "My name is Lycoon. Hewow! Mish Emily." He introduced himself and bow even though I'm carrying him. What a polite kid.

"Hello! Lycoon I'm Emily and I will be taking care of you along with Mr. Sunshine." Emily says hi to Lycoon with the bear and bows. Lycoon giggles immediately and shakes hands with Mr. Sunshine the bear. "Can we be friends?" Lycoon asked Emily. "Yes of course." Emily agrees and Lycoon smiles. "Can he sleep here with me and daddy?" He asked playing with the hands of Mr. Sunshine.

"Yes, sweetheart Mr. Sunshine is all yours. It's a gift from Sir Ken the Dragon." Emily plays with Lycoon. Lycoon laughs at Emily's statement. "Uncle Ken is not a dragon but he has a dragon on his neck to his head that's very scawy." He said that makes me and Emily laugh. He hugs Mr. Sunshine and kisses it then he approaches me. "Daddy you can go to wok now. I'm gonna play with Mr. Sunshine and behaved with Ms. Emily." He said then hugs me. "Tell uncle Ken, thank you fow bringing Mr. Sunshine with Ms. Emily. I wove you daddy." He said while hugging me.

"I love you too son. So can I give you to Ms. Emily now?" I asked permission from him and he looks at me nodding happily. I put him down and he hugs Emily's legs. "I'll be going, Emily. Take care of him. Thank you." I thanked Emily before leaving. "Bye son see you later." I bid goodbye to Lycoon and he waves at me. "Bye, daddy." He said bye.

I ride my Ferrari f60 and drive off fast...

At the office.

I immediately entered the building not minding everyone who greets me. I'm in a hurry my business clients will arrive in 45 minutes. "Give me the subject for the meeting," I said to my secretary and he hands it over to me. "Sasha give a cup of coffee. Black and no sugar today." I told her and she immediately vanishes to get some coffee. "Report the stock exchange rate to me," I command my secretary and he reports while we are walking. "Do you want me to get the whole graph for you, sir?" My secretary asked after his report.

"Yes please bring it to my office." I agreed and proceed to my office. I sat at my office hair that looks like a throne in front of it is my marbled desk. I immediately opened my laptop and study the report. After some time I entered my first meeting it ended up smooth with a good deal. It's lunchtime when I finish the third meeting.

I call Lycoon on his phone as I promised. "Hey!" I greeted him. He waves his hand at me. "Hewow daddy. You eat lunch?" He asked me and shows me his food. "Lycoon will eat." He said. "Okay honey let's eat together," I told him and shows him my food also. I can see how happy he is at the video call. We ate together and we ended the call after. My child seems to be used in this type of situation. I read it in Amaya's diary that they do video calls every lunch.

After my lunch, I proceed to the fourth meeting. And the meeting is not that bad but not what I was expecting so I became a little frustrated. I hurriedly goes to my office and ordered my secretary to call the owner of the company from my fourth meeting. "Tell her I wanted to meet her immediately. The presentation upsets me." I told my secretary. I lay back in my office chair and massage my temples to ease the tension I'm feeling. How could they change the plan without letting me know?

"Sir she said she'll be here at 5 pm." My secretary informs me. "Tell her to go now. I have to go home early. I can't wait." I ordered him and he do what I told him to do. I read through some papers while waiting for her answer. My assistant came in and told me that the owner finally agrees to meet her in 30 minutes. I just nodded and motion my secretary to go.

I opened Amaya's diary again to know more about my son and how is he doing before I met him. I'm so focused on the diary that makes my world travels back in time to their situation when I heard my office doors clicking sounds.
